The Republican governor of Florida Nov. 16 confirmed he is working with the President Barack Obama’s administration to implement its health care reforms. “The election is over,” Gov. Richard L. Scott, who was elected governor of the Sunshine State in 2010, said in last week’s speech to the 2012 National Lawyers Convention hosted by The Federalist Society. The society is a Washington-based organization whose members are drawn from the legal community and are committed to the “original intent” of the Constitution. By doing so, Scott aligned with governors who have embraced the next big step in the

The way the government runs things this is going to be a disaster of historic proportions. It sickens me that these Marxists will now have access to our personal medical information. Of all the things 0bama has done this angers me the most.

I live in Florida and do not approve of the exchanges. I guess we will have to retire in Texas. Rick Scott seems to be looking out for Rick Scott who wants to be governor again. What he doesn´t realize is that he will lose anyway to a Democrat. Why stay with Democrat lite, when you can have the genuine socialist. I really was trying hard, as a conservative, to like Rick Scott, but he has proven he is the a weak sister Dem lite that he appeared to be..... Sadly, another underpinning of our freedom is removed.

A RAND study pours buckets of cold water on the Obama administration’s claims that it has nearly reached 7 million sign-ups for Obamacare. The whole point of Obamacare, supposedly, was to insure the uninsured and bend the cost curve down. Those who had insurance were supposed to be able to keep it. Families were supposed to start saving about $2500 a year. If you believed the Obama administration. Reality, according to RAND‘s study, is that the Obama administration’s 7 million figure is deceptive. Supposing 7 million have actually signed up and paid their first premium — which is not a given,

The release of a United Nations report detailing the pervasive effects of climate change should serve as a call to action for the world’s nations to curb the emission of greenhouse gases, Secretary of State John Kerry argued Sunday night. A preferred ploy of left-wing change agents is to ridicule critics when they point out the undeniable parallels between the goals of today´s "progressive" movement, to include the Democratic Party in general, and the goals of the early, and very much still alive, communist movement.
