WOW!!! Who knew 56% of women in the USA are stupid enough to believe democrat lies???? It appears less than half of all USA women are intelligent, according to the election.

I have an idea---forced sterilization since birth control is so important to them-- think of the results: No liberal offspring by choice or accident, and the issue goes away!

I thought it was ludicrous when Dem operative Georgie Staphylococcus introduced this faux issue in the very beginning of that ABCNews Republican Primary Debate. I still remember the befuddled reaction of the candidates on stage as little Georgie continued to press the issue beyond all reason. I thought it was nuts. I obviously overestimated the intelligence of the electorate, especially those in need of birth control.

Barack Obama and his Chicago crew obviously correctly judged what would work with this current day electorate.

How selfish!

DOOMING ........... the economy ........... personal liberty ......... social security ............. legal immigrants waiting abroad ............. religious freedom ................ the nation´s healthcare ........... our grandchildren ........... the Constitution ........... the Future of the UNITED STATES.

GOP needs to let this issue be as-is.

Take this off the table, and Dems don´t have as tight a grip on women´s vote.

After all, 50% of Catholics voted Democrat who are 100% for abortions.

Let this issue lay dormant and only answer "it´s a private matter between women, and their religious beliefs".

Takes away these targeted single-issue voters from Democrats in future elections. Take a few percentage points here and there from the Democrat column and you have dramatic changes in elections.

As a woman I hate to say this but it appears that most of the women in America are just plain stupid and ignorant. The issue was pay for your own birth control. Republicans do not want to take away your access to birth control they just don´t want to make others pay for your responsibilities.

Reproductive rights! These two words themselves oxymorons. "Reproduce", means to produce self. If to produce self is a right, then these liberals should be calling birth control and abortion as "NON REPRODUCTION RIGHTS" another the other way around.

In Japan and Russia, abortion is and has been the primary form of birth control for some time now. Both those nations are dying out. Coincidence? I don´t think so.

I know somebody who voted for barry because in her words "if Romney wins I´ll be forced to buy my birth control on the black market".

Agree with most of #8´s points except the part about taking away a few percentage points from the Progressives. That would only result in them knowing just how many additional votes that they would need to
´create´ in just the right battleground precincts.

The republicans,especially Romney did a lousy job defending themselves on this. I don´t know of any republicans who wanted to take birth control away. The only issue was religious conscience.Maybe federal funding of abortion.

This was never even any issue on the GOP side - the Dems brought it up, and kept hammering it, and the GOP never countered it in any meaningful way. They should have hammered back just as forcefully, esp. in the swing states. It was a Dem plot start to finish, and they executed it perfectly.

It wasn´t just women in need of birth control who voted on this issue. I know a woman 56 years old who doesn´t need birth control who voted for Obama because "Romney hates women and will destroy Planned Parenthood." This woman had never voted before, this was her first time. She said she absolutely could not stand Romney because of his views on women.

As a woman, I must wonder if the nation did the right thing by giving a woman the right to vote.

For people who actually use their little grey cells for the proper purpose of thinking, instead of skull mush, there are some pretty scary thoughts on this thread that I agree with wholeheartedly.

I have also read on various blogs that our society began its slow decline to the edge of the cliff the day women were given the vote. As a woman this also does not insult me. The New Testament says that ´captive silly women´ are one of the signs of the end times. There sure are a lot of them, aren´t there?

Agree #8. Republicans should stop discussing this. The idea that Romney would ´take away women´s birth control´ is stupid beyond words and we should stop answering questions about it.

Apparently no one cares that the White House/Obama Campaign used George Stephanopolous to introduce the questions regarding birth control. As was discussed, no state ever indicated the availability of contraceptives would be restricted.

It would have been easier to have Stephanie Cutter or Jim Messina moderate the debates just so Obama would have had more direct access to the candidates.

It is time for the Republicans to wake up and stop assisting the Democrats in setting up their agenda.

Tell Mike Huckabee and Bobby Jindal that the various Obama constituencies do, in fact, vote based on the free junk furnished by Obama and the Democrats. So what are the Republicans going to give these folks?
