Move over, Kardashian sisters. All we need now is a sex tape. Tampa military groupie Jill Kelley and her twin sister, Natalie Khawam, are the new K sisters of the US Armed Forces — greedy star-lovers raising their 15 minutes to pornographic levels. Yesterday, Jill’s twin Natalie broke out of the shadows and into the sweaty dreams of men and women everywhere. Natalie’s sis Jill, a close personal friend of disgraced retired Gen. David Petraeus, skyrocketed to fame after being allegedly stalked and threatened by Petraeus’ unglued mistress, Paula Broadwell.
Comments: At least Paris Hilton is an heiress. I´ve never been sure how the Kardashians acquired their fame.
What a legacy David Petraeus leaves to posterity. If there are ANY "correct thinking" leaders in the DoD, he will be returned to active duty, Courts Martialed and when convicted of the various charges he is facing, be reduced in rank to at least LtCol, have all pay and allowances forfeited, and spend a VERY long time in Leavenworth Prison.
I guess what bugs me here is good ole double standards. We had a president who committed unspeakable acts right in the Oval office and he continues to grow as a left wing icon, who could have helped Obama destroy this country for 4 more years,vs. a well respected member of the military for 40 years or so and people want his scalp.Sen. Melendez is caught up in 2 scandals and he doesn´t even make the news.
Now we have this Elmo character who preyed on underage boys, finally getting fired but you don´t see a Jerry Sandusky firing squad going after him. He´ll just ride off into the sunset and may secretively continue on as the Elmo character. The simple reason is he´s an admitted gay vs. a dirty old white guy.
I´m not excusing what Petraeus and Broadwell did but I understand how it happened.Neither one is a serial pervert like Bill Clinton who possibly even raped a couple other women. He had state troopers recruit women for hotel room ventures and all this was ignored by the American electorate. In fact Hillary Clinton gets sympathy for being victimized by her husband, despite Bubba himself not being villainized.
Broadwell can´t hold a candle to the Fl. twins when it comes to being egregious, yet they aren´t nearly as demonized as Broadwell is.I mean e mail shagging a general who´s supposed to be running a war with our kids lives at stake, doesn´t even register with the media.
This is what the Benghazi scandal will be about to the low information folks out there. The burning consulate, the deaths of Americans serving our country - all that´ll whoosh over their heads. Skanky social-climbing twins? They´ll remember them.
RE: #3 - Agreed. However, I wasn´t aware that being attractive was a requisite for being a skank.
RE: #9 - EXACTAMUNDO. Look at the society/gossip pages...Kardashians on there EVERY day, usually multiple times. That doesn´t just happen...somebody plants those stories and those photos. The Kardashians are who they are because of their hard work (and Daddy´s money, as you say) to get there. As an aside, I shall forever hate Ryan Seacrest :spit: for foisting those horrendous people on this country.
I, too, was thrilled to see the whack job sister and Gloria Allred yesterday...it just had to happen.
What I can´t get out of my head are the husbands of these bimbos. Natalie´s husband chose the right course - took his son and got out of Dodge. Jill´s husband is a doctor and probably has a decent practice either at a hospital or in a group practice. Can you imagine being one of his patients? Paula Broadwell´s husband is also a doctor. I can´t believe that either of these men wanted this kind of attention, let alone the potential of ruining their medical practices. How in the name of Sam Hill can they be focused on their patients?

In re: #3, I don´t know...At about 1:15 AM as closing time approaches, after a couple of Tanqueray & Tonic´s I could see it happening.....But as that great sage and philosopher Mickey Gilley once said, ´the girls all get prettier at closing time´.
In re #15, spot on. Ms. Schlussel is an underappreciated dynamo of truth and enlightenment. IF a media outlet really wanted to investigate BHO, ther first thing they should do is put Debbie on retainer.
Are there three more unimpressive people you´ve read about lately than these three ´ladies´ (Paula, Jill and the other one)? If these are the kind of women our military brass think are ´hot stuff´, we are in a whole lot of trouble. Where is their judgment?
They need to focus on some real women? Surely everyday, beautiful, wise, caring, intelligent women with class, dignity and honor would attract them too - or maybe their wives?
Re 15 & 17 - I, too, cannot figure out how Debbie Schlussel can´t seem to break out beyond her blog. I saw her make a brief, remote appearance on Fox years ago but she provides more facts and truth in one column than an entire evening of O´Reilly, Hannity, and Greta and all their booksellers.
Have we ever been told how Paula Broadwell knew that the twins even existed, not less what they were supposedly doing with General Petraeus, that sparked Broadwell´s interest in them and her defense mechanism on them?
Re #9: no one should overlook Kim Kardashian´s very lucrative "leaked" sex tape, certainly the key factor in launching her subsequent "achievements." Same modus operandi as Paris Hilton, whose similarly "leaked" tape led to her reality-teevee celebrity.
Ayo Kimathi, a.k.a. “the Irritated Genie," a.k.a. the black supremacist employee of the Department of Homeland Security´s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency is "no longer an ICE employee," according to a statement from ICE´s Deputy Press Secretary Gillian Christensen. "His last day with the agency was December 6," she added. Christensen, citing privacy policies, declined to comment on whether Kimathi left voluntarily or not. Kimathi was placed on administrative leave after the Southern Poverty Law Center spotted the ICE employee´s extracurricular advocacy in August. His personal website calls for the mass murder of white people. Kimathi´s site, "War is
WASHINGTON — A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit by Rep. Charles Rangel that had sought to overturn the 2010 House censure of the New York congressman for financial wrongdoing. U.S. District Court Judge John D. Bates ruled Wednesday that Rangel´s demands implicate "insurmountable separation-of-powers barriers" to the court´s authority. Bates added that Rangel´s quarrel is with the House, and it must stay there. Rangel´s suit claimed that staff and members of the House Ethics Committee that conducted the probe against him willfully suppressed evidence of misconduct in how the investigation was conducted. The House censured Rangel for various financial actions, including failure
The man accused of faking sign interpretation next to world leaders at Nelson Mandela´s memorial told a local newspaper that he was hallucinating and hearing voices. Thamsanqa Jantjie did not describe his qualifications for being a sign language interpreter, but told The Star he works for an interpreting company that paid him $85 for interpreting Tuesday´s event. He told Radio 702 Thursday he´s receiving treatment for schizophrenia and had an episode while on stage. Jantjie did not address allegations by sign language experts that he faked interpretation for the Mandela memorial attended by scores of world leaders and broadcast internationally. The Star quoted
WASHINGTON -- A budget agreement between key Republicans and Democrats. Even President Barack Obama was on board. All without anyone threatening to repeal this or shut down that. Gridlock, however briefly, took an early holiday in the bitterly polarized, Republican-run House. But across the Capitol, the high-minded Senate remains in the grip of some of the worst partisan warfare in its history after majority Democrats curbed the Republicans´ power. A round-the-clock talkathon is the result, putting no one in the mood for cooperation. Majority Harry Reid threatened to shorten the Senate´s cherished Christmas vacation if need be. A Republican called his bluff. "What´s
We are always asking questions, even when we´re not. A new study suggests that "uptalk," phrasing your statements with a rise in pitch at the end, isn´t just something young women do: it seems to be expanding to other demographics, including young men. In Southern California, anyway, young people tend to uptalk no matter their gender, ethnicity or socioeconomic status, suggests a small new study presented last week at the Acoustical Society of America’s annual meeting. “The use of uptalk is certainly more than just stereotypical ‘Valley Girl speak’ in Southern California. In fact, uptalk serves several purposes in the speech of
In the wake of the Obama selfie firestorm from Nelson Mandela’s memorial service, a commonsense guide to taking selfies. I’m old enough to remember when Selfies at a Funeral was a thing. It was a Tumblr, to be precise, so buzzworthy and relevant that by November 13, it was featured on Good Morning America. The site still exists, but on December 10, 2013, it took its own life: “Obama Has Taken A Funeral Selfie,” reads the final post, “So Our Work Here Is Done.” How did we get here? It wasn’t quite a selfie that POTUS snapped, and it wasn’t exactly a
TALLAHASSEE —A nearly 6-foot-tall "Festivus" pole made from empty beer cans will be put up in the Florida Capitol this week as a not-so-subtle protest to the recent placement of a Christmas nativity scene. The mock monument will be erected most likely on Wednesday in the same first-floor rotunda as a nativity scene depicting the birth of Jesus Christ put up last week by the Florida Prayer Network. "I still chuckle, I literally can´t believe there will be a pile of Pabst Blue Ribbon cans in the state rotunda," said Chaz Stevens, a Deerfield Beach resident who applied to the
The federal health care exchange is incorrectly determining that some people are eligible for Medicaid when they clearly are not, leaving them with little chance to get the subsidized insurance they are entitled to as the Dec. 23 deadline for enrollment approaches. State and industry officials haven´t quantified the problem yet, but the National Association of State Medicaid Directors may release information next week after following up on reports from around the country, says Executive Director Matt Salo. Here´s what happens: When consumers applying for insurance put their income information into subsidy calculators on HealthCare.gov — the exchange handling insurance sales for
HAVANA — Elian Gonzalez, the young Cuban boy who survived a boat sinking and became a political football during the 2000 U.S. presidential campaign as the subject of an international custody fight, is on his first trip overseas since being reunited with his father. Cuban state-run media say Gonzalez is in Ecuador this week as part of a 200-strong delegation to the 23rd World Festival of Youth and Students, which runs through Friday. In a recent interview published on the official website Cubadebate, Gonzalez said living in Cuba afforded him more privacy than if he had stayed in the United
When a former hard-hitting news anchor’s daytime talk show suffers dangerously slipping ratings, what’s the next step? If it’s Katie Couric, the answer is to trade a history of responsible reporting for irresponsible scaremongering. In her segment last week on the HPV vaccine, Couric delivered a blow to both public health and her image. The question now is what Couric – if she’s willing – can do to repair the damage. It’s a sad turn of events for Couric, once known for drawing attention to public health issues such as colon cancer, which killed her husband. The former CBS anchor, soon
If a five-part opus in The New York Times by Andrea Elliott is to believed, we live in a hard-hearted city. But if you read closely, it suggests just the opposite. Begin with the family at the center of this story. The mother, father and eight kids aren’t really homeless at all. True, they live in housing meant for “homeless families.” But their 540-square-foot unit gives them a solid roof over their heads, in addition to city-provided meals and services. One city official tells us Elliott and the Times ignored many key facts about the family and that its situation is “atypical.” “New
President Barack Obama is flying to South Africa Monday morning to join the emotional extravaganza around the graveside of former president Nelson Mandela, leaving Vice President Joe Biden on his lonesome to attend meetings in the empty White House. The president will board U.S. Air Force One to jet around the world to Johannesburg, the capital of South Africa, while Joe stays behind to keep the lights on at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Obama is flying away from supposedly high-priority negotiations to prevent another budget shutdown of Uncle Sam’s federal government, and also from the top-priority effort to rebuild his crashed Obamacare program. He’s
When I was a kid, I knew two different Santa Clauses. The first had a fat belly, rosy cheeks, a long white beard, and skin as pink as bubble gum. He was omnipresent, visiting my pre-school and the local mall, visible in all of my favorite Christmas specials. Then there was the Santa in my family’s household, in the form of ornaments, cards, and holiday figurines. A near-carbon copy of the first one—big belly, rosy cheeks, long white beard: check, check, check. But his skin was as dark as mine. Seeing two different Santas was bewildering. Eventually I asked my father what
US President Barack Obama may have moved the masses attending Nelson Mandela’s memorial service with his stirring eulogy, but it was his grinning "selfie" with the Danish and British premiers that set social networks abuzz. In a candid moment captured by a photographer, Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt can be seen holding up her smartphone, with Obama lending a helping hand, as they pose for a picture with David Cameron, all three of them smiling broadly in their seats at Soweto’s World Cup stadium.(Snip)Mashable, the news and technology website, ran the photograph under the headline: ‘‘Dear Obama: Funerals are no place
Johannesburg - A man who provided sign language interpretation on stage for Nelson Mandela´s memorial service, attended by scores of heads of state, was a "fake," the national director of the Deaf Federation of South Africa said on Tuesday. Asked about the claim by The Associated Press, South Africa´s government said it was preparing a statement. Three sign language experts said the man was not signing in South African or American sign languages. South African sign language covers all of the country´s 11 official languages, according to the federation. It wasn´t immediately clear if the unidentified man was using a
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) snapped at conservative groups that have come out in opposition to the budget deal reached Wednesday between Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.). "They´re using the American people for their own purposes. This is ridiculous," Boehner said at a press conference with other members of House Republican leadership on Wednesday. Over the past few days, a number of conservative groups have blasted the deal because it sets discretionary spending levels in the budget higher than previous levels under sequestration. In the past three days, the influential Heritage Action, Club for Growth, Americans
A black fashion student says he was brutally attacked by a gang of Hasidic men who shouted anti-gay slurs at him while he was walking through Williamsburg after a night of partying, the Daily News has learned. Taj Patterson, 22, was headed home to Fort Greene around 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 when he says more than a dozen ultra-Orthodox Jewish men began assaulting him on Flushing Ave. and yelling, “Stay down, f----t!”
A “presidential selfie” featuring President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, and Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service began making the rounds this morning, but it’s the person not included in the frame who caught everyone’s attention: As anyone with two eyes and a Twitter account has noticed, Michelle Obama does not appear amused. Of course, though a picture says a thousand words, not all of those words are necessarily true. FLOTUS might not have even known the photo was taking place. Or she could disapprove of funeral selfies. Either way.
President Obama’s job approval among American voters has dropped to negative territory with just 38 percent voicing their approval versus the 58 who says they disapprove, according to a national poll released Tuesday by the independent Quinnipiac University. That is one percent less than the 39% who said they approved of him in last month’s poll. The majority of the 2,692 registered voters the University in early December said that the president is not honest and trustworthy. When asked, “Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as President?,” respondents gave Obama lackluster ratings
Looks like this president can’t get away with flirting in front of his wife… It appears that first lady Michelle Obama was none too pleased with the way that President Barack Obama was acting toward Denmark Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt during a ceremony honoring Nelson Mandela, and before too long, they switched seats. This lmao! Michelle Obama vs Prime Minister of Denmark at Mandela´s ceremony. pic.twitter.com/Rq4uF9fTaZ — Stun (@TheBlogPirate) December 10, 2013
The sign language interpreter at Nelson Mandela´s memorial yesterday "made up his own signs," according to South Africa´s deaf federation. "He´s a complete fraud," Cara Loening, director of Sign Language Education and Development in Cape Town, said according to ITV News. "He wasn´t even doing anything, There was not one sign there. Nothing. He was literally flapping his arms around." Delphin Hlungwane, an official South African sign language interpreter at DeafSA, told Reuters:
Say goodbye to the 60-watt incandescent bulb. This year manufacturers started phasing out 100w and 75w bulbs. On January 1 it will become illegal to import or manufacture traditional 60w and 40w bulbs too. Time to stock up? Not so fast. First, check out Cree’s energy-sipping new 75-watt replacement bulb. I used to be outraged over the federal government’s draconian moves to outlaw traditional lightbulbs. For 100 years we’ve lived and thrived under the warm glow of incandescent lightbulbs. Aside from the fact that 90% of the electricity used by the bulbs is radiated in the form of heat rather than
SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -Officials at Shaw Air Force Base are trying to determine what to do about a holiday display after a Nativity scene was taken down last week. Air Force spokeswoman Lt. Keavy Rake said Tuesday a Nativity display was set up Friday by a group of volunteers from the base chapel at a small lake on the installation. The site was near where a tree lighting ceremony was scheduled Friday evening. Rake says the Military Religious Freedom Foundation lodged a complaint about the display through the Air Force in Washington. Paul Loebe, spokesman for the foundation, said
