So - - the actual, factual link to Al-Qaeda was too tenuous to mention - - but the fabricated link to the video was so rock solid that they eagerly broadcast it over five TV networks.

Are we to believe that no one in the "White HOuse" knew what Rice was going to say? Isn´t the DNI part of the Executive Branch, by the way?

Can´t tell ya how happy I am to find out that we started yet another, separate agency ( DNI ) to ´streamline´ the other agencies to protect us from terrorism.

Catherine Herridge at Fox News is reporting this morning that this "new" view is at variance with sworn testimony from the previous week.

Funny thing about telling the truth: You never have to remember what you said.

In this case, there is a new reality every week, often at variance with the reality of last week. This variances in reality are called "lies."

Are we actually expected to believe that the head of one agency creates a report, someone in a second agency changes the report, it ends up back at the initial agency to confirm the changes, and the head of the initial agency who created the report subsequently knows nothing about the changes, but there you go,the WH and the State Dept are magically absolved from any blame. They see no evil, hear no evil, and speak of no evil. Frankly, they will do anything to wall off the WH from anything negative. I hope that
Mr. Petreaus is asked back to speak before Congress and tells them that as head of the CIA he was just expected to be a figurehead and that his subordinates did not even tell them when they altered HIS reports. I absolutely believe that this new story is
fiction.

They simply think we are stupid - there is no other explanation. #2 hit the nail on the head: the government wasn´t certain it was al Qaeda so they did the cautious thing - they fabricated a lie and threw a film maker in jail. Our president and secretary of state both had the callousness to repeat that lie while standing over the remains of the four fallen well after the fact. These people are pure evil.

Yak yak yak. These tools just yammer on and on until the witless lose interest and yield on the point that the idiot administration did NOT say that the attacks were a spontaneous thing that got outta hand. That was a lie and everybody knows it but the foolishness just keeps spilling out.

Clapper is an "old white male", which means that this racist set up the incredibly intelligent, sophisticated and inspirational African America woman so that she would be attacked by two of the GOP´s old white males, McCain and Graham. Or, simply, the head of Obama´s DNI gave Susan Rice the clap so that she would have to lie 5 times on TV about it.

The entire Obama Administration is as unappealing as a social disease. Unfortunately, 51% rejected the cure.

Any way you look at it, Rice lied--or transmitted a lie. Even if you accept what Clapper says as true, it was a lie that the attack was spontaneous or that the evidence supported that statement. The CIA´s original statement said otherwise. Are we just supposed to accept lies by our government on the assumption they have some reason for the lie? Here is what Rice should have said, if what Clapper said is true: We are still investigating the reasons for the attack. There is evidence that it was initiated by terrorist groups that may have a connection to Al Qaeda. We are still trying to connect all the dots.

That´s a particularly transparent shade of whitewash you´re using, CBS...

In my opinion the attempt to attribute this attack on terrorists or from a spontaneous outbreak of violence arising from the typical peace loving Muslims is minor compared to saying this attack was because of a protest of an unviewed film made in the US. The fabricator of the film story created to give cover to the typical peaceful Muslims needs to be discovered and questioned.

What use is a potential Sec. of State if that person has to be spoonfed what to say. Used to be this sort of job required a brain. She should have refused to go on TV if she had no idea what she was saying - especially a pottage of lies duh!

So CIA analyses are now edited by DNI, WH, and others. The CIA is now irrelevant, and should be laid off.

Uh, so, was it the DNI who decided surreptitiously to make ads depicting Obama and Clinton condemning and apologizing for the Mohammed movie and show them on TV in the Middle East, ten days after the consulate attack? I guess it must have been somebody else´s idea, since obviously the President, Secretary of State and Amassador Rice had nothing to do with it. The DNI must have written the scripts and had Obama and Clinton read them without their knowledge.

OK, then who told Zipp0 to lie about the video to the UN?

It took them this long, to find a fall guy, so obama will not have to take responsibility? Wow, you would have thought by now, obama would have a list in a file of fall guys, in each department to point the finger at, should something go wrong in that department.

Now let´s move on (to quote hillary) to the real question, what is obama really doing in Benghazi, because the Russians, Chinese, Turks, Iranians, Syrians and just about the entire rest of the world believe that obama is running Libyan weapons to Islamic terrorists.
