A nation of idiots (47%) that were never taught how or why this country was founded so people could have freedom to earn a living or make a profit. There´s more economic freedom in China (though not political.) What a shame.

A sad but true observation about the economy of a once great "engine of democracy"
Washington policies (both Democrat and Republican) have brought this about, along with an accelerating $16 Trillion National Debt - two-thirds of that accumulated under the last two US Presidents, one Republican and one Democrat.
What is just around the corner in the "Second Obama Offensive against America" is the dollar´s hyperinflation. Most people don´t know enough history to recognize this happened before in the 1920s in Germany. Too bad we will all have to live through it.
A pox on both parties and the "Takers" among us.

Review the lists in this article and note that an overwhelming number of the plants with layoffs and closings are in Blue Obama States. Hey, they wanted it, they voted for it, and now they´re getting it.

Wait until this fiscal cliff hits and wait until Obama signs the executive order to give all illegals citizenship. He may even say there are no longer borders and anyone who wants to come in can do so and get instant citizenship.
The idea is to collapse the system. That is Obama´s desire, I believe. That way they can rebuild it in his image.
Its pretty clear what is coming, its just not clear how to prepare for it.

Curry, an adjunct instructor of media studies, was incensed at a display erected by Students for Life in a space reserved for free speech. As first reported by Creative Minority Report: A University of Buffalo (SUNY) professor was arrested for screaming obscenities at an administration approved graphic pro-life display. While cursing profusely, she accused the pro-lifers of being "profane."

The piece by Trip Gabriel appeared on page A12 of today´s print edition, and finally brings inhabitants of the Times Bubble up to date on an outline of the most dramatic details of the testimony so far. But the main thrust of the piece is to avoid confronting the nature of the blackout, and focus attention on the role of social media and the paranoid anger of the right.

How many times did we hear reporters on the cable nets caution everyone about speculating regarding the perpetrators of the deadly attacks yesterday at the Boston Marathon? About as often as they proceeded to give their listeners the idea that it was "right wing extremists" who were behind the bombing. (snip)It takes a monumental effort to separate logic from reality and caution against blaming an entire religion for the actions of one or a few, while gleefully charging that an entire political philosophy and political party is at fault for those same actions.

This weekend´s much-discussed ruling by the Master´s to penalize Tiger Woods, yet allow him to continue play, speaks to issues far more significant than Tiger or the game of golf. How this is being discussed across message boards speaks to where we are as a society, and not all of it is pretty -- even on the right. Perhaps especially on the right. Consider: For any society to function and facilitate liberty, there must be some guardrails and reliably upheld rules and laws, because without such, chaos rules -- and liberty and chaos are simply not compatible.

If our major media were not fully committed propagandists, they would report the findings of a large scale survey of law enforcement personnel on the subject of further gun legislation. After all, they are currently following the President´s strategy of distracting the public from the awful state of the economy by exploiting the victims of Newtown to push for further erosion of Second Amendment rights. The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. Abortion clinic employee Sherry West described an incident which "really freaked (her) out" and related to the jury how she heard a child who was born alive following an abortion scream.
