Menacing emails sent by David
Petraeus’ ex-mistress Paula Broadwell
to socialite Jill Kelley promised
to make the apparent rival ´go away´

New York Daily News, by Matthew Lysiak*

The menacing emails sent by David Petraeus’ ex-mistress to a Florida socialite promised to make the apparent rival “go away” and boasted of her friends in high places, the Daily News has learned. The notes Paula Broadwell sent to Jill Kelley were far more sinister than previously reported and seemed like the rantings of someone “clearly unhinged,” a close friend of Kelley told The News Monday. “This wasn’t just a catfight. Any normal person who got emails like that would have immediately called the police,” said the friend.

But, she didn´t call "the police", she notified the FBI.

We don´t know what the reasons were that Broadwell snapped and sent these e mails but she should have gone to a public library and used a fake name and ID.I don´t think this was about physical jealousy but some other influence Jill was exerting on Petraeus like the custody letter.

Using an official government letter head to try and influence a judge on a custody battle wasn´t cool but it showed how manipulative the twins were.

Obviously Broadwell used poor judgment throughout his whole affair but I´m reserving judgment on her until more facts come out.I think she admired Petraeus beyond sex and didn´t want his reputation threatened.

There is nothing "normal" about anyone even remotely connected to this administration. Of that I am positive.
Six degrees of separation from reality and normalcy. They attract each other like flies to cow pies, then fight over their slice of the pie.

As a former US Naval Officer, I´m rather disgusted (but not surprised) that so many senior (male) officers (especially in Special Ops who are figuratively indulged their every whim like Kobe beef getting masassages) got caught in the honey traps laid by these women. But hey, it´s not as if there´s a war on - oh wait...

I suggest that

(a) how the hell do you know what was sent, by whom and what the content was?? You´re relying on the Press!!

(b) if any of this is true, may I suggest that Broadwell may well have meant do not compromise Petraeus knowing full well who Jill Kelly is, and who her Masters are.

Not romantic. Rather, a warning not to try and snag David for the Muslims.

This to me is more red meat thrown out through the Daily Snooze to focus on the catfight and not on the abandonment in real time of one dead Ambassador and three dead former SEALS, the WH coverup BEFORE the election and the compromising of the Director of the CIA.

Also there are Hamas missiles falling on Israel and we are about to force a ´peace settlement´ via pulling our aid to Israel. Gotta cover that up too.

I still can´t tell whether Paula´s e-mails were of the "stay away from my man" variety or something related more to national security.

Paula´s father said in an interview several days ago that there was much more to this story than meets the eye. If Paula´s telling her parents about what went on, I´m inclined to believe we´ll never see her put on a diaper and make a mad cross-country drive to see the General.

Washington -- When the Bureau of Land Management retreated from a standoff with Cliven Bundy, a few hundred people traveled to his Nevada ranch to protest what they see as an overreach of the federal government. (Snip)Because of the cheap rent, some, including fellow cattlemen who don´t ranch on public lands, call public land ranchers "welfare ranchers" and have no sympathy for the Western lot. But Griggs said they don´t understand that ranching public land is "not a bargain." "On public lands, you might get kicked off at any moment for a turtle. That´s kind of the deal," he said.

The year that we were married, my husband and I were given a truly wonderful gift: a honeymoon safari to southern Africa. It was an amazing experience. President Obama is right. He told Major Garrett of CBS this week that “Mr. Putin’s decisions aren’t just bad for Ukraine. Over the long term, they’re going to be bad for Russia.” I believe that Putin’s adventures in Russia’s “near abroad” are a mistake. Indeed, they are part of a whole tapestry of wrongheadedness. It’s also bad for the Kremlin to crush dissent, censor the news, and hobble the economy by handing it over to oligarchs and a kleptocratic bureaucracy. Putin’s scapegoating and demonizing of gays isn’t only morally wrong, it’s not in Russia’s long-term interests either. That Putin prefers to

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter — who used her talk show platform in the last presidential election cycle to campaign hard for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney — has taken up the mantra once again, calling on Republicans to give the failed White House bidder another shot in 2016. She made the suggestion during a discussion on Sean Hannity’s radio show while speaking of her new book, “Never Trust a Liberal Over 3-Especially a Republican.” Ms. Coulter also addressed the question of Mr. Romney’s shortcomings by saying that his 2012 loss wasn’t entirely his fault. “I think too much blame, not only in this
