Kerry´s the wrong man for the Pentagon

| In its 65-year history, the Defense Department has been led by people of various political stripes. But never has the nomination of any Secretary of Defense been a direct insult to the men and women who served our nation in uniform. That will no longer be true if, as is rumored, President Obama nominates Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., to succeed Leon Panetta at the Pentagon. (Snip) What makes Kerry different, especially for defense, is that he built his entire political career on his anti-war activities, including his leadership of the radical Vietnam Veterans Against the War.

Appointing Kerry (he served in Vietnam, you know), even if not confirmed, would be akin to obama sticking his finger in the eye of all current and past members of the military.

But, but, even though he spent a grand total of about six weeks there, (during his THREE tours) John Karry was "awarded" THREE Purple Hearts for his owies in Vietnam! When he got the nomination in 2004, his "salute" and "Reporting for Duty" was enough to gag any past, present, or future member of the Military! He is a disgrace and if he IS nominated by the obamination, he just may get the publicity he has always sought...

President Zero will distract everyone by nominating kerry for defense, and susan rice for State. It´s the sort of thing that President Zero does. While the media fixate on Paula Broadwell and Linda Kelley, people forget about the four dead Americans.

If ever nominated, Kerry must submit ALL of his army records, discharge papers, etc. for review before any discussion of him is begun. That´ll assure us all that he´ll go away. The truth would be too painful for this phony.

Zippy will nominate Kerry for two reasons. First, he will nominate him because he hates the military and enjoys doing anything he can to harm it´s effectiveness. Second, he will nominate him because that will be yet another distraction from the Bengazi scandal and it will be supported by the traitorous media. Face it folks, our once great Republic is doomed. 51% of voters are more concerned about getting free stuff than they are for the welfare of the country. They are willing to put traitors (Kerry), fools (Biden) and Marxists (Guess Who) into office to perpetuate their stripping of the economy. And all we have to put against them are useless career politicians like Bohener who are more concerned with getting along with Democrats than securing the survival of the U.S.

There is every reason to believe he left the navy with an undesirable discharge and revocation of his medals which were restored under dubious methods and for political reasons when he became a senator. As a senator he led Lefty forces against Star Wars missile defense which economically broke the Soviet Union and was the precursor of Israel´s Iron Dome.
Do we want this incompetent near-traitor to replace the civil rights lawyer we have as Sec. of Defense now? Not a chance. As bad as Panetta has been, we don´t need worse either as Sec. of Defense or as Sec. of State. How about some meaningless job like U.N. ambassador if he wants to further his father´s diplomatic nothingness?

Does anyone really expect anything different from Obama? This guy is a CLOWARD-PIVEN addict and stern believer in doing whatever it takes to destroy this country. His anti constitution stand is a classic in his own words. He degrades the Christian religion and openly promotes the Muslim faith, he is against capitalism which once made this country great, promotes illigal immigration and fosters their support, crammed Obamacare down our throats, encourages the draining of our treasury with handouts to all those who will not work, plots against the second ammendment, lies brazenly to the citizens of this country, fosters cover ups and now wants to destroy our military more than to the point of defunding it´s support with drastic budget cuts and now threatens with a Secretary of Defense that´s totally ANTI-MILITARY! That should increase recruiting... Already this administration ignored our military voters twice now in presidential elections and ommited their votes. Don´t put it past Kerry to appoint Jane Fonda as his deputy...the non-taxpayers, freebie cell phone and handout type getters, Democrats, brainless racist voters, don´t care type moochers and the media have contributed greatly to the screaming downward spiral of this once great country. Where to begin to sort this mess out...

ATTENTION all hands: John Fitzgerald Kerry served in Vietnam. Of course he has never signed his SF 198, so we can´t see his records. We do know he was awarded the Silver Star with V for Valor THREE TIMES. He was given this award for the heroic act of shooting an unarmed teenager in the back. Whoo! What a HERO! And he got THREE Purple Hearts. One of them for an injury roughly comparable to a paper cut.
Yessir.
And, by the way, his brother made millions in North Vietnam.
The citizens in MA have made themselves proud with John F´n Kerry and Ted "Sandwich" Kennedy. Corrupt, but proud.
Have you seen their new Senator? She has no idea what her job is.
Par for the course. Why not nominate a real war hero, like Jane Fonda?

About a decade ago, Glenn McGovern began studying targeted attacks on members of the criminal justice community, including judges, prosecutors and police officers. The former SWAT officer had joined the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office in California as an investigator. He saw a need for improved training for the office’s protective unit, he said. “I started researching the kind of attacks so that I could understand them better and we could develop training in order to respond to this type of violence,” McGovern said this week. “And then I also do the threat and risk assessments.

French Chief Rabbi Gilles Bernheim handed in his resignation on Thursday after he admitted that he had committed plagiarism and claimed unearned academic titles, French newspaper Le Figaro reported. The board met in Paris to hear his decision, and lauded his decision as "courageous." Bernheim is usually introduced as an “agrégé,” a sort of “doctor,” a prestigious academic title obtained by civil servants in competitive tests. In Who’s Who, in biographies and in an official book of the Consistoire central des Juifs de France, which administers religious services, the title agrégé of philosophy always appears under Bernheim’s name.

“No British politician has ever been more despised by the British people than Margaret Thatcher,” moody crooner Morrissey contends. “Thatcher’s funeral on Wednesday will be heavily policed for fear that the British tax-payer will want to finally express their view of Thatcher. They are certain to be tear-gassed out of sight by the police. United Kingdom? Syria? China? What’s the difference?” Aside from the smell, a big difference is that people vote in the United Kingdom. In 1979, 1983, and again in 1987, the British people voted for the Conservative Party, which Margaret Thatcher led.

Marco Rubio and the so-called Gang of Eight’s push for comprehensive immigration reform has drawn sharp criticism from conservative skeptics. Perhaps foremost among them is Senator Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.), who has spent the last several weeks trying to galvanize his colleagues in an effort to warn of the potential pitfalls of an ill-conceived and under-scrutinized immigration bill. Sessions is not alone. Senate veterans such as Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa), the ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee, as well as conservative newcomers such as Mike Lee (R., Utah), among others, have expressed concerns about the process,

Turn over any green-energy rock, and wiggling underneath will be the usual creepy mix of political favoritism and taxpayer-funded handouts. Add to this the Clintons, Mississippi and a murky visa program, and you´ve got a particularly ripe political embarrassment for Terry McAuliffe. Everyone remember The Macker? Best Friend of Bill. Chairman of Hillary´s 2008 presidential campaign. Famed money-tree shaker. Former Democratic Party chief. There is something profoundly timid about President Obama’s proposed $3.8?trillion budget for 2014. Stripped of boasts about “investments” for the future and a responsible “balance” between deficit reduction and economic growth, the budget is a status-quo document. It lets existing trends and policies run their course, meaning that Obama would allow higher spending on the elderly to overwhelm most other government programs. This is not “liberal” or “conservative” so much as politically expedient and lazy. The trends are clear. From 2014 to 2023, the administration projects annual spending on Social Security to rise from $860?billion to $1.4?trillion,

While visiting City Hall the other day, Jimmy Carter volunteered that, if asked, he’d be more than happy to go back to North Korea to defuse Pyongyang’s nuclear saber-rattling. “I’ve been there three times so far,” said Carter. “But I never have been unless North Korea asked me to come and I got approval from the White House. If that should happen, I would be glad to go back.” And the Nobel Peace Prize winner proceeded to make his case for why Barack Obama and Kim Jong Un should do precisely that. “I know the people there very well,” he said.

Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. Given their past indifference in local elections this is highly unlikely.

In the opening sequence Rod Serling informs us: "A monster had arrived in the village. Just by using his mind, he took away the automobiles, the electricity, the machines -- because they displeased him -- and he moved an entire community back into the dark ages -- just by using his mind. . . . and the people there have to smile. They have to think happy thoughts and say happy things because once displeased, the monster can wish them into a cornfield
