| Shifting demographics. Low turnout. ORCA croaking. Moderate Mitt. Sandy/Christie/Obama celebrity three-way. Voter fraud. Many thoughtful minds have offered analysis as to why, after suffering through four years of Obama´s militant collectivism and prolific statism (AKA class warfare and social justice), a "center-right" nation would vote for the radical leftist again. But let´s face it, Republicans lost the "center" because the Republicans didn´t really have the center. The media-entertainment-education-Democrat axis control the mainstream narrative, which means the 30-40% who are in the center (between conservative and liberal identification) generally will believe whatever Bill Maher, CNN or Politico says.

Google "record voter turnout November 6" in which states and counties were reporting the turnout figures the day of the election. Then try to reconcile the published results showing that Obama received 6.5 million fewer votes than in 2008 while Romney received fewer votes than John McCain. Something is wrong.

To add to the intrigue, it involves one of the most hated government agencies: the Internal Revenue Service. It all started Friday when an IRS official — in an apparently off-handed remark — acknowledged and apologized for wrongly targeting conservative groups seeking nonprofit status. A Mother´s Day second-line shooting on Frenchmen Street in the 7th Ward, on Sunday about 2 p.m., left about 12 people injured, according to preliminary NOPD numbers. The shooting, in which a 10 year-old girl allegedly suffered a graze wound, occurred in the 1400 block of Frenchmen Street at the intersection of North Villere Street. Congress is hearing from more whistleblowers who wish to testify on the terrorist attack in Benghazi, according to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.). Rogers told "Fox News Sunday" that following the testimony of three whistleblowers before the House Oversight Committee, lawmakers have been contacted by other potential witnesses. "We have had people come forward because of the [Oversight] testimony and say we would also like to talk," he said. "I do think we´re going to see more whistleblowers. Certainly my committee has been contacted, I think other committees as well."

Black students are suspended more than three times as often as their white classmates, twice as often as their Latino classmates and more than 10 times as often as their Asian classmates in middle and high schools nationwide, a new study shows. The average American secondary student has an 11% chance of being suspended in a single school year, according to the study from the University of California Los Angeles Civil Rights project. Politics! Politics! They’re playing politics in Washington! Pretending to be modern Paul Reveres, Democrats and their media handmaidens are doing their damnedest to diminish the Benghazi revelations with the cheapest trick in town. While there is always pungent hypocrisy when one gang of politicians accuses another gang of playing politics, the current phony outrage from the Obama Protection Society is exceptionally putrid. Drudge is no fan of Napolitano. He regularly tweaks her as “Big Sis” (presumably an allusion to George Orwell’s “Big Brother”).
