It’s not adding up
New York Post, by Ralph Peters

Original Article

Posted By:Pluperfect, 11/19/2012 5:25:37 AM

President Obama treats the truth the way Bill Clinton treated blue dresses on interns. In our raucous political system, it’s natural for a president’s policies to insult our beliefs. But only the most arrogant president insults our intelligence on a near-daily basis. This how-dare-you-criticize-me? president expects us to believe: * That intelligence professionals watching the Benghazi attack in real time and reading flash messages from the scene weren’t sure an obvious terrorist attack was a terrorist attack. A Cub Scout watching that strike go down would have recognized a planned terror operation.

Peters makes perfect common sense and ties it with a bow.

My favorite takeaway:
We were also treated to another of Obama’s now-routine how-dare-you-question-me hissy fits as he defended Rice with far greater vigor than he defended our team in Benghazi.

Barack Obama is a disgrace. An incompetent petulant child who is in way over his head, buoyed by faux-popularity foisted upon him by ignorant masses of just plain bad Americans.

Last night I had a conversation with a recently reelected county official, whom I congratulated (though I did not vote for her). She said something about "at least the national race turned out well," meaning of course that Pat McCrory as NC Governor (and a GOP legislature) will hold the counties´ feet to the fire. I could not hold my tongue, and said, "Well, actually, I´m not an Obama fan." She looked a little shocked, and dug herself deeper by saying that maybe in his second term he will take a stronger leadership role. "I hope not -- I already feel sorry for our children." Ever the politician, she sound to ameliorate by talking about (Sen) Richard Burr (R-NC) and how "responsive" he is. And this happens to be a Jewish woman. It´s incredible around the universities. Not a friendly place for conservatives.

A second, but separate thought.

Absolutely everything is political with these people. If you search around the internet for Susan Rice, she does not come up with the same kind of radical socialist ties and background that the rest of the Obama crew has. Oh, he has had some Clinton holdovers, but the rest are pure DSA marxist. Not Rice. By all accounts she is an aggressve, self-interested Washinton bureaucrat who clawed her way up, but she´s not a Chicago marxist. Not part of the club. And she appears to think she is ENTITLED to the Sec State position.

So ... did the Obama crew set her up to get rid of her? Get her out of the way? And how do you get rid of a black woman ambassador without taking the heat? Easy. Bait McCain and Graham into doing it for you. It appears she was set up before she ever went on those talk shows, and none of us, including her, ever saw it coming.

Now let´s get back to the real question: when did the Obama crew find out that there were going to be demonstrations in Cairo on 9/11 (embassy issued apology BEFORE they began), from whom, and who participated in prefabricating the whole video narrative prior to 9/11? Or did the American left actually help stage the 9/11 demonstrations? Remember the Gaza blockade demonstrations in Cairo? Remember who was there?

I shudder to think how he would have reacted to 9/11. He would´ve been even worse than Gore. Can you see either one of them jumping up on a fire truck & taking the bullhorn, addressing the rescue workers with: "Rest assured -- we´re gonna go after the guys who did this!" ??

I also wonder why Biden was so sure Obama would be "tested" during his administration? Did he realize we had another Carter -- a sitting duck for terrorists to take all the punches they want? He´s been in congress since he was 28 -- so he´s seen all types & how the international community responds to them.

Making Hillary go away. Making Petraeus go away. Panetta? Donilon? Rice? Holder? Just can´t seem to make the story go away by erasing the players. That´s because the real player is still around and his only excuse is that everyone in four different agencies at every level ignored his commands and were constantly and irrationally stupid and disobedient over the entire period of time - and yet he thought every thing was fine, that the video was obviously the cause, and that he should show the muslim world that terrorists with black flags of Al Queda can force an apology from him for America while knowingly threatens the protected speech of Americans. It´s not going away because it can only add up in one way - he and his entire administration chosen for similar belief and under his direction acted as if this American enemy is America´s fault and that American principles should be attacked by its own President if they offend that enemy.

Outrageous, but simple and consistent with all of liberal narrative and specifically with Barack Obama 2001 through September 2012. They saw it coming and intended to use the crisis against opponents at home. The ambassador? Just happened to be one of the eggs in the "I killed Bin Laden, but I told you to stop making these enemies" omelette.

#18 -- That would be President Boehner, NOT Pelosi. Boehner is third in succession for the presidency.

The best way to deal with this administration is for the Electoral College to refuse to meet, which would put the election in the hands of Congress. The House would elect the president and the Senate would elect the Vice-President.

Secretary of State John Kerry is worth some $200 million, give or take a yacht. So his decision to slap a 5% pay cut on himself in solidarity with government employees squeezed by sequestration won’t likely hurt him much. But he’s saving taxpayers another way, too — if unintentionally. And it’s downright troubling. How else is Kerry saving money? He’s failing to hire folks to fill key spots at his agency. Terrific. Think about it: With the North Koreans threatening nuclear strikes against America — and Kerry himself preparing to visit South Korea this week — wouldn’t it be a tad helpful

In March, the number of Americans who dropped out of the labor force increased by 663,000 which adds up to a record 90 million Americans who are no longer looking for employment. Zero Hedge reported: This was the biggest monthly increase in people dropping out of the labor force since January 2012, when the BLS did its census recast of the labor numbers. And even worse, the labor force participation rate plunged from an already abysmal 63.5% to 63.3% - the lowest since 1979!But at least it helped with the now painfully grotesque propaganda

After 69 years, Newt Gingrich is wealthy, a celebrity, and the owner of a tony home in Northern Virginia. His place in the history books, as the leader of the Republican revolution, has long been established. He spoke excitedly about his company, Gingrich Productions, and his upcoming trip to South Carolina, where he won the Republican primary last year. Gingrich’s unflagging energy isn’t surprising.

Going with his parental gut, President Obama applauded in 2011 when Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius barred girls under 17 from obtaining the morning-after pill without a prescription. He pictured 10- and 11-year-olds buying pregnancy prevention medicine as easily as bubble gum and drew a line. “As the father of two daughters, it makes sense to apply some common sense,” the President said. Now, a Brooklyn federal judge has ruled that moms and dads — including the ones in the White House — are owed no legal say over whether very young daughters can pop a hormonal contraceptive

It would take superspin powers to portray the March jobs report as anything other than a huge step in the wrong direction. The US economy added just 88,000 jobs last month, 95,000 in the private sector as public payrolls fell by 7,000. The official unemployment rate ticked down a tenth of a point to 7.6%. 1. That is a paltry number of jobs, more or less matching assumed labor force growth per month. So the economy must add at least that many jobs just to keep the labor market at current depressed levels.

Senator Marco Rubio is the man of the hour. He has deftly positioned himself as the indispensable figure in this year’s immigration debate. His participation has given the Gang of Eight approach to amnesty some insulation from grassroots conservative criticism, at least for a time. Liberals in Congress understand that his imprimatur is essential to get Republican votes for the amnesty. But Rubio’s position as a bridge between the parties on immigration means he faces conflicting demands. He wants to ride success on immigration to the 2016 presidential nomination but has also made hard commitments to conservatives

Last week, the Society of Actuaries warned about sticker shock ahead for individuals and families buying health insurance. How did the White House respond? In its usual Orwellian fashion, saying “healthcare costs are falling thanks to the reform law.” Falling is correct only if you’re standing on your head. President Obama repeatedly promised that insurance exchanges will save families up to $2,300 a year. He couldn’t possibly have believed it.
