| President Obama is practicing a new brand of foreign relations, appearing to flirt with Thailand’s attractive prime minister on his first stop of his three-day tour of Southeast Asia. The president and Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra could be seen laughing together and exchanging playful glances throughout a state dinner at the Government House in Bangkok on Sunday night. They were joined by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who toasted to the U.S.-Thailand friendship with Shinawatra. Obama will next visit Myanmar - also known as Burma - followed by Cambodia this week. He said it is

I am assuming that the Prime Minister is a woman but would not be shocked if that were not the case.
I assume that Thailand is a Buddhist country but has Michelle EVER traveled with him to a Muslim country?
I got an E-Mail a while back that stated she hasn´t because because it would be against Sharia Law. I know Laura Bush went to Saudi Arabia but G.W. was never suspected of being a Muslim and the law would apply only to Muslim heads of state.
Can anybody confirm?

In fact, I haven´t heard anything about her or even seen a gushy picture of her since the dictator in chief was re-elected. What is going on? Are they separated? Is she filing for divorce? Or is she planning a world tour of her own for her and her entourage at the taxpayers´ expense?

Yingluck Shinawatra is one gorgeous lady. From the pics I saw Barry sure seemed to be hitting on her. Did the guy never learn to be discreet? What a stunning lack of self-control, on full display to our friends, and to our enemies. That´s right up there with Sarkozy watching Barry ogle his wife´s pert posterior, when it comes to being an international embarrassment to Americans.
Bubba´s probably delighted to see someone deflect a little of the attention he always gets as America´s shameless-horn-dog-in-chief.

And we can reduce our deficit, stabilize our debt, and do so without sacrificing the kinds of investments that are going to be required to grow. During his remarks, the president spoke of the

One of the first political issues negotiators must tackle in crafting an immigration reform bill is among the most important: what to name it. It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. The wrong name, he warned, could doom a good bill. “If there´s not a

President Obama is eager to build public support for his health care overhaul in the few months remaining before its implementation, but waning enthusiasm from Democrats threatens his effort right out of the gate. Two-thirds of Democrats now believe Obama´s health care reforms will either hurt them personally or have no effect on their daily lives, a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows. In comparison, just 27 percent of Democratic respondents said the reforms would help them. The president has long struggled to convince independent and Republican-leaning voters that his health care blueprint would lower premiums and expand insurance coverage.
