| Until Friday, there were two possible explanations for why the White House failed to immediately call the Benghazi attack an act of terrorism. One was incompetence, the other was worse. Now there is only one, and it is the worse one. Based on the persuasive testimony of ex-CIA boss David Petraeus, it is clear the Obama administration made a deliberate decision to mislead Congress and the American people. The repeated claim that the attack was spontaneous and grew out of a demonstration against an anti-Islam video —

Obama´s more than happy to accept "defeat" on this as the terror truth finally comes out.The reason is there´s a bigger reason for the cover up.What was the point of a closed door meeting with Petraeus, then Peter King coming out and saying what was said in the meeting?
Then you have Petraeus saying the affair ended 4 months ago but he resigned only a few days after the election. My guess is he resigned in order to duck giving on the record testimony that could damage Obama.

Tell that to Bill Clinton, who got away with perjury before a grand jury. Taped perjury that was seen by the whole world on TV.

Unless Patreaus has a ´blue dress,´ they will attempt to paint the general as the person who is telling lies ..... just like they had planned to destroy Monica Lewinsky. .... Next, we may be subjected to a Clintonesque announcement from Obama, as he tells us, ´Indeed I did know that Benghazi was a terrorist attack, but I didn´t want to promote the terrorism. Now, I need to get back to work for the American people.´

#3, don´t hold your breath, she is a new england liberal, as daft as they come. I´ll bet obama has enough info on our entire congress to make it look like a dead dog....oh, wait, they are already doing that interpretation. Listening to the dems reporting on that closed conference with petraeus, THEY claim nothing really bad happened and an incident that the muslims LOUDLY called for, most people seeing the date 9/11 and the horrible deeds committed, left no doubt in almost anyone´s minds, the libs are claiming must be hush/hush for security reasons. If the dark ages muslims in the middle east can get a hold of a stupid youtube video, why do these morons in dc think the citizens of a highly educated, highly technical country, could not figure this out? Oh, that´s right, our election proves our voters can´t put two and two together.

And who is forgotten in all this mess? Yep, those four Americans who were killed. All the talk about the Petraeus affair and not much about these brave men. Is there no honor in Washimgton DC? No one? Seems all our Republican leaders can do is focus on is trying to win the minority vote. Please put politics away for the time being. Are we just going to forget that when Americans called for help on several occasions, they were ignored. The question that begs for an answer is by whom.

Buried in the article is the parole of Havasi of NY, who took bribes to influence NYS employee pension fund investments. One of the people doing the bribing was Steve Rattner, President Zero´s ´car czar.´ Rattner avoided all criminal charges, which in itself is amazing. But Richardson, former governor, was excluded from consideration for a position in the Zero administration, because he was involved with Rattner, who spread his poison bribes all over the country.

I´m not saying forget about it, but rather than have the whole congress drawn into this Bama set of lies, we need to have an independent Lawyer as in billies case to grab this and let congress get on with solving the economy and jobs issues.

Patience, everyone. Need to give Obie more time to finish killing off any of the Gaddafi loyalists and rebels who were involved in the Fast & Furious middle east scandal. This way, all Sue Rice has to do while under oath is to repeat what she was told by now dead foreign nationals. Obie then needs to get the ok from Putie in Russia that all of the lies are in order. The MSM are already spinning a story of non- complicity for Obama. A Republican prez would have to resign. This will be swept away just like Fast and Furious ( hear much more of that?). I am afraid we can decry this administration all we want here, but he will do what he wants. Republicans under Boehner are weak and after all, he WON! After a couple of weeks perspective, I think we are screwed! For all time. This appears to be what most American want.

Did David Petraeus brief Congress 3 days after the Benghazi attack or was it somebody presenting a "modified" version of a briefing prepared by him? What he said Friday is different than what Congress was told 3 days after the attack. Both statements cannot be true. Both statements are attributed to Petraeus.
This raises the question, was Petraeus pressured into misleading Congress? Did he do it willingly?

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The owner of an auto body shop near the home of the Boston bombing suspects said the younger brother appeared in his store on Tuesday, nervous and demanding his car immediately. Two weeks ago, said 44-year-old Gilberto Junior, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev had brought in a white Mercedes 1967 station wagon to have the damaged rear bumper repaired. He said it belonged to his girlfriend. That was not unusual: Tsarnaev often brought in cars for wealthy friends from Boston University and MIT, Junior said, and always paid in cash.

The father of a suspected Boston Marathon bomber started to cry when ABC News told him that his son had been captured alive. "Thank God," Anzor Tsarnaev said, speaking in Russian, thanking ABC News for relaying word that his son, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was in custody and alive. Asked what he wanted to tell his son, Anzor Tsarnaev said, "Tell police everything. Everything. Just be honest." Tsarnaev spoke to ABC News on more than one occasion today from his home in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, Russia, as Boston police carried out an intense dragnet for his son.

Although information is still too sketchy to draw any comprehensive conclusions (other than that the Boston killings are not, as recently suggested, fall out from sequestration, the NRA, lack of gun control, climate change, right-wing tea-party zealots, etc.), there emerges a familiar profile to the suspects that we have seen before. In articles in 2002 and 2007, I touched on the dangers of isolated Islamic-driven terrorists without direct connections to organized terrorist networks, calling it a sort of “al-Qaedism.” In other word, single and usually young American resident males, often originating from the Muslim world

When vocal teacher Bill Schuman works with an aspiring opera singer, he invokes the past, present and future with equal importance. He looks to the past for examples: "Study the great tenors," he advises one student, just before issuing a command for the present. "Pick up your palate! Don´t be lazy!" He also has a way of foreseeing what´s to come: "You will be Tosca," he promises a young soprano. Since 1989, Mr. Schuman, age 54, has been a voice instructor at Philadelphia´s Academy of Vocal Arts, a four-year conservatory program devoted to training young opera singers.

When David Sirota hoped the person or people responsible for bombing the Boston Marathon would be a “white American”, I asked, “Can’t a terrorist be both white & Muslim?” Yes, Mr. Sirota, there are white, Muslim terrorists. Granted, I was thinking more along the lines of a convert to Islam like John Walker Lindh. Nevertheless, Chechens are both Caucasian and Muslim. While it’s certainly possible for non-Muslims to commit terrorism, we do ourselves a disservice by being afraid to cause offense and refuse to consider the possibility that Muslims are responsible for these acts of evil. Things are looking up for Republicans. President Obama’s agenda is collapsing before our eyes. Obama is pointing to the 2014 midterm elections to capture the House and revive his presidency. “My job is not simply to occupy the Oval Office,” he said at a San Francisco fundraiser. “My job is to make sure we move the country forward, and I think we can best do that if Nancy Pelosi is speaker of the House once again.” Obama said Pelosi is “thought ful” and “visionary” and “never lets ideology cloud her judgment.”

The Tsarnaev brothers were ethnic Chechens whose family fled the breakaway republic in the remote Caucasus mountains where insurgents fought two bloody wars with Russia at the cost of more than 100,000 lives. Even after the worst of the fighting was over, Chechnya became a training ground for terrorists who have carried out attacks that have killed hundreds of civilians. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the FBI’s “Suspect Number 2” in Monday’s bombing, followed two Internet sites that advocated independence for Chechnya, whose heavily Muslim population of more than 1 million suffered badly during Soviet rule.

Several years ago, Jennifer Senior wrote a fascinating, agonized essay for New York Magazine on abortion and the challenges facing the pro-choice cause. Of the piece’s many memorable passages, this stretch in particular stood out: … if you want to hear honest talk about the realities of abortion, go speak with those abortion counselors and providers. Even the most radically pro-choice will tell you that the political discourse they hear about the subject, with its easy dichotomies and bumper-sticker boilerplate, has little correspondence to the messy, intricate stories of her patients.

We are still speculating about virtually everything right now, but I feel as though I need to explain why I find the quick and easy conversation about Muslims being radicalized in America to be so illogical and laced with bigotry. Of course, there is a global violent jihadist movement, loosely organized, that wants to recruit young men to influence policies at home and abroad and perhaps usher in the global caliphate. That ideology motivates some Muslims to kill innocent people. But you´re allowed to be a radical Muslim in America.

Federal law enforcement officials are actively investigating the possibility that the Boston bombers were known to the government’s terror-trackers, MailOnline understands. Any inquiry into the marathon bombing will look into whether agents could have taken action – but didn’t – to prevent the Tsarnaev brothers from obtaining the explosives that killed 3 and wounded 173 others. CBS News reported Friday evening that two years ago, the FBI interviewed the elder brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, who was killed in Thursday night´s dramatic shootout. The feds reportedly spoke to him at the request of an unspecified foreign government, but couldn´t

The Bears center, who was picked No. 1 overall in the recent WNBA Draft (to the Phoenix Mercury) and is considered by many to be an all-time great in women’s college basketball, casually explained her sexual orientation to Sports Illustrated. Griner was asked by SI’s Maggie Gray on the difference between men’s and women’s sports when it comes to acceptance of sexual orientation; why the WNBA has been able to often embrace many lesbians within their sport, while male sports in America still waits on its first publicly gay player.

Allen West issued a scathing statement on his Facebook page Friday, in response to the ongoing manhunt for one of the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings. “Let me be very clear. We are in a war of ideological wills and we shall prevail.”
