Bam hides terror truth
New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

Until Friday, there were two possible explanations for why the White House failed to immediately call the Benghazi attack an act of terrorism. One was incompetence, the other was worse. Now there is only one, and it is the worse one. Based on the persuasive testimony of ex-CIA boss David Petraeus, it is clear the Obama administration made a deliberate decision to mislead Congress and the American people. The repeated claim that the attack was spontaneous and grew out of a demonstration against an anti-Islam video —

Obama´s more than happy to accept "defeat" on this as the terror truth finally comes out.The reason is there´s a bigger reason for the cover up.What was the point of a closed door meeting with Petraeus, then Peter King coming out and saying what was said in the meeting?

Then you have Petraeus saying the affair ended 4 months ago but he resigned only a few days after the election. My guess is he resigned in order to duck giving on the record testimony that could damage Obama.

"Nobody is above the law, even the president."

Tell that to Bill Clinton, who got away with perjury before a grand jury. Taped perjury that was seen by the whole world on TV.

Our generation of conservatives had no real problem taking Nixon down when we realized what had really happened. This new generation believes in the motto, "if you got the might you got the right."

Unless Patreaus has a ´blue dress,´ they will attempt to paint the general as the person who is telling lies ..... just like they had planned to destroy Monica Lewinsky.
.... Next, we may be subjected to a Clintonesque announcement from Obama, as he tells us, ´Indeed I did know that Benghazi was a terrorist attack, but I didn´t want to promote the terrorism. Now, I need to get back to work for the American people.´

I´ll bet obama has enough info on our entire congress to make it look like a dead dog....oh, wait, they are already doing that interpretation.
Listening to the dems reporting on that closed conference with petraeus, THEY claim nothing really bad happened and an incident that the muslims LOUDLY called for, most people seeing the date 9/11 and the horrible deeds committed, left no doubt in almost anyone´s minds, the libs are claiming must be hush/hush for security reasons. If the dark ages muslims in the middle east can get a hold of a stupid youtube video, why do these morons in dc think the citizens of a highly educated, highly technical country, could not figure this out? Oh, that´s right, our election proves our voters can´t put two and two together.

And who is forgotten in all this mess? Yep, those four Americans who were killed. All the talk about the Petraeus affair and not much about these brave men. Is there no honor in Washimgton DC? No one? Seems all our Republican leaders can do is focus on is trying to win the minority vote. Please put politics away for the time being. Are we just going to forget that when Americans called for help on several occasions, they were ignored. The question that begs for an answer is by whom.

Buried in the article is the parole of Havasi of NY, who took bribes to influence NYS employee pension fund investments. One of the people doing the bribing was Steve Rattner, President Zero´s ´car czar.´ Rattner avoided all criminal charges, which in itself is amazing. But Richardson, former governor, was excluded from consideration for a position in the Zero administration, because he was involved with Rattner, who spread his poison bribes all over the country.

I´m not saying forget about it, but rather than have the whole congress drawn into this Bama set of lies, we need to have an independent Lawyer as in billies case to grab this and let congress get on with solving the economy and jobs issues.

This way, all Sue Rice has to do while under oath is to repeat what she was told by now dead foreign nationals. Obie then needs to get the ok from Putie in Russia that all of the lies are in order. I am afraid we can decry this administration all we want here, but he will do what he wants. Republicans under Boehner are weak and after all, he WON! After a couple of weeks perspective, I think we are screwed! For all time. This appears to be what most American want.

Did David Petraeus brief Congress 3 days after the Benghazi attack or was it somebody presenting a "modified" version of a briefing prepared by him? What he said Friday is different than what Congress was told 3 days after the attack. Both statements cannot be true. Both statements are attributed to Petraeus.

This raises the question, was Petraeus pressured into misleading Congress? Did he do it willingly?

Last week Zbigniew Brzezinski, joined by five other foreign-policy experts from the past, issued an open letter entitled “Stand Firm, John Kerry,” calling for “clarity” on “the critical moral and political issues” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The letter castigated Israeli settlements and proposed “halting the diplomatic process” to “help stop this activity.” At “Pressure Points,” Elliott Abrams dismantled the letter, noting that, among other things, it ignored history. As it happens, tomorrow is the 10th anniversary of one of the more important items of history the Brzezinski group ignored: the April 14, 2004 letter from President George W. Bush to Prime

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

Generally, when we hear stories about the federal government ripping off the businessman, we tend to think of tales of tax increases or burdensome regulations. But a different type of story crosses our desk this weekend, as a solar power consortium – who already received a quarter billion in grants and tax incentives – takes Uncle Sam to the courthouse because they feel they should have gotten millions more. Federal investigators will spend the next year going through the books of two solar-energy companies tied to billionaire Elon Musk in an effort to show the businesses overvalued sales contracts in

EARLIER this year, a column by a Harvard undergraduate named Sandra Y. L. Korn briefly achieved escape velocity from the Ivy League bubble, thanks to its daring view of how universities should approach academic freedom. Korn proposed that such freedom was dated and destructive, and that a doctrine of “academic justice” should prevail instead. No more, she wrote, should Harvard permit its faculty to engage in “research promoting or justifying oppression” or produce work tainted by “racism, sexism, and heterosexism.” Instead, academic culture should conform to left-wing ideas of the good, beautiful and true, and decline as a matter of

There’s something sinister on the airwaves. It’s sloppy, and it’s cynical, but sinister all the same, and it’s race-hate spewing from the absolute top of the Democratic Party. On Wednesday afternoon, Attorney General Eric Holder threw out some thinly veiled race-hate, telling an audience that criticism of his contempt for Congress was “unprecedented, unwarranted, ugly, and divisive adversity” that no other “attorney general has ever had to deal with.” ["Black vote," check.] That same day, Politico published an interview where House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi more openly stoked race-hate, saying conservative opposition to amnesty “has a scent of Japanese internment.” ["Asian vote," check.] Later that

It’s an article of the faith of the Democrats that voter fraud is nothing to worry about because it never happens. Kim Strach, the North Carolina director of elections, has living proof — and some dead proof — otherwise. She has identified 35,750 persons who voted in North Carolina sharing a name, birth date and Social Security number with someone who voted in another state in 2012. Another 81 North Carolinians voted after they died. Ghosts have no constitutional rights, not yet, but Barack Obama and the Democrats think rigor mortis need not keep voters from practicing good citizenship. President Obama nevertheless

Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Democrats hope to retain control of the Senate and recapture the House by driving
