These are the American People who also seem to expect a free, all-expenses paid cruise through life, with the checks delivered to their doors by unicorns. The the positions of the two parties are fundamentally irreconcilable, so that the only solution is yet another Washington Compromise which will soften, or delay be a year or so, our fall over the cliff.

Sorry Senator but after watching the antics of the Democrats for my entire life I most certainly do NOT expect any cooperation from them. They are mindless statists with one ´solution´ to every problem therefore agreeing with them is voluntary insanity.

Agree wholeheartedly with # 1 and 2. The American people expect their representatives to what´s best for America. Acquiescing to the damaging and fatal policies of the lying, immoral and dishonorable Democrats isn´t what´s best.

Kelly A. thinks clinging to the coattails of John McCain and Lindsey Graham will give her the validation needed to run in 2016. IMO with these two dragging her with them in everything they do will have more of a negative effect for her.
Who puts a lot of stock in either McCain or Graham. She has already put herself on my ´won´t fly´ list.

Pew just had a poll out that says a majority of the idiots in this country are going to blame the Republicans if a deal can´t be done. Well I think we should just vote present and let Obama have it all, the tax increases for the wealthy and the economy slow down that will result from it. If we object Republicans get blamed anyway. Better to let these foolish people see their messiah fall off his lofty pedestal as their way of life crumbles around them.
