Dozen House women defend
Rice over Libya comments

Associated Press, by Donna Cassata

WASHINGTON -- A dozen female members of the House staunchly defended U.N. ambassador Susan Rice against Republican criticism over her remarks on the deadly Sept. 11 Libya attack, suggesting the GOP lawmakers´ comments were racist and sexist. "It is a shame that anytime something goes wrong, they pick on women and minorities," Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, the next chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus, told reporters Friday at a Capitol Hill news conference. Republican Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham earlier this week called Rice untrustworthy and unqualified to be the nation´s top diplomat if

Comments:
Just like clockwork the Democrats start screaming racism and sexism. You knew it had to happen since Rice has two cards to play. Corruption and incompetence is never ever considered when it comes to them. They sicken me.

So now female House members have taken to defending substandard work and promoting lies from other females in Washington?

This is why corporations give women and minorities only non-critical "window dressing" executive positions. They cannot be held responsible for bad performance. Charges of "racism" and "sexism" are a universal defense.

Notice how the Republican woman who stood with McCain and Graham on this scandal, Kelly Ayotte, is not mentioned by AP´s Donna Kissasa. As a dutiful spreader of the narrative, Donna only writes about the old white men.

To expand on KarenJ1´s posting, it should read, Just like clockwork, the Dems and their media outlets start screaming racism and sexism.

Isn´t the Congressional Black Caucus by definition racist? A White Caucus would be described solely as racist.

Here´s the solution: Tell these nitwits that if a public employee, in a high position within the government, cannot be criticized for her actions and statements because she is a women, it is an unacceptable result.

It follows then that women should not hold high positions because we cannot hold them accountable.

You must never question how we do our job because, well, we´re weak and that would make us feel bad. We can´t be expected to pay for our own birth control or healthcare because, well, we´re weak and can´t figure out how to budget for such expenses. Shall I go on?

Where is Lady Justice´s blindfold? Where is equality evident in the 2012 Congress? Has there ever been such willful ignorance & cavalier dismismals of the value of just THE FACTS by the conniving, prejudiced pols in America´s Capitol? Does no one in the apparent cesspool of deceit within countless special interest cliques in Washington D.C. EVER simply stand up and demand the truth anymore?!!

Corruption & special interest clicques are destroying equality in America by dismissing & usurping personal accountability and replacing each individual´s responsibility for his/her own integrity with prejudices, favoritism, and now even, ´goodies,´ for favors/votes. The Founder´s Declaration and Constitutional principles of Life, Liberty and Justice for All are now to just be ignored as the Candy Man cometh? ...What is wrong with this picture?

WHAT could be as divisive as 0bama´s single issue supporters?!! That IS IS IS the dem party now, groups of self-centered special interest groups clawing for as much as they can get for themselves rather than supporting equal respect for each individual human being. Yet, these statist pols are so sure of themselves they now flaunt their abuses of the power entrusted to them by voters. The more Americans demand transparency & accountability, the less honesty results from the current crop of politicos.

History reveals the political tactics which result in tyranny, but America´s unique history has always pointed the way to freedom through the timeless principles of individual liberty. Why are some pols appartently abandoning such hard fought for independence now? ´´Freedom isn´t free!´´ Shame on Congressional cliques which ignore their sworn oaths of office!

The statist pols, -dems & RINOS have no shame.

The only racist, sexist talk I hear is coming from these Democrat women. I call it "The Democrat Noise machine". Aren´t we all tired of this phony indignation from all the Democrats all the time? Notice whenever a Democrat speaks it is always with indignation? And almost always against a Republican? I remember whenever Teddy The Swimmer spoke about something it was always with this grating indignation in his voice? It is like they are always trying to cow the opposition? I´m not sure what the technique is called, but they are always using this technique. Obama uses it all the time.

I´m not likening the two controversies, just the behaviors of the two parties, and noting how hard it is not to get cynical about politics in general, when the public dialog so often resembles the shouting from a kindergarten playground.

The White House took steps Friday toward issuing methane emissions regulations at hydraulic fracturing sites, a move that would slash greenhouse gas emissions in hopes of meeting President Obama´s climate goals but will invite backlash from industry. The news is a victory for environmental groups, which note that methane -- a short-lived, potent greenhouse gas that has a 20 times greater impact on climate change than carbon dioxide -- is the largest remaining unregulated greenhouse gas, accounting for 9 percent of U.S. emissions. The oil and gas industry, however, has warned that regulating methane emissions would stunt domestic energy production by raising

As Breitbart News reported on March 26, Yee supported an "assault weapons" ban in California and a requirement for background checks for ammunition purchases. He also co-sponsored an expansion of "the list of crimes that disqualify an individual

Joining a long line of Democrats distancing themselves from Obamacare, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel hinted that he didn´t support the President´s original plans for the healthcare take over and advised the President to take a different approach, though he shied from saying just what that meant. In a March 27 interview on cable business network CNBC, Emanuel claimed that he offered the President a "contrary opinion" on Obamacare but his advice was not heeded. "He asked for my opinion," Emanuel said during an interview on CNBC´s Squawk Box. "I gave it to him and why I thought we should do

Following several years of "constructive dialog" with the LGBT community, the U.S. Justice Department is now training law enforcement officers on how to better understand and help the "transgender community." "It’s clear that such training is as necessary as it is overdue," Associate Attorney General Tony West told a gathering at the Justice Department on Thursday, as DOJ´s Community Relations Service kicked off its new "transgender law enforcement cultural professionalism training." The training will help law enforcement agencies "improve their understanding of the transgender communities they serve and improve their work with those communities," said Deputy Assistant Attorney General James Cole, who

All 17 Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee have called on Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) to end the “partisan” investigation into the Benghazi attack “and begin focusing instead on conducting responsible oversight to implement constructive reforms.” The Dems, led by ranking member Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), charged that the probe “has been characterized by wild and unsubstantiated political accusations that turn out to be completely inaccurate.” They proceeded to outline those instances in the five-page letter. “Continuing this reckless pattern of launching wholly unfounded accusations on national television — and racking up more and more Pinocchios in the process —

After a disastrous presidential campaign in 2012, can Texas Governor Rick Perry mount a credible bid for the White House in 2016? Texas Governor Rick Perry is currently on a media tour touting the theme that America is a great place for second chances, specifically second chances for Texas governors with national ambitions. Perry is trying to erase the memory of his disastrous 2012 GOP presidential campaign which included “brain-farts” and “oops” debate moments with his folksy, charming, and uniquely American manner. Curious about Perry’s comeback strategy, I asked Texan and GOP presidential media guru, Mark McKinnon and he said,

As part of its plan to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, the Obama administration is targeting the dairy industry to reduce methane emissions in their operations. This comes despite falling methane emission levels across the economy since 1990. The White House has proposed cutting methane emissions from the dairy industry by 25 percent by 2020. Although U.S. agriculture only accounts for about 9 percent of the country’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, it makes up a sizeable portion of methane emissions — which is a very potent greenhouse gas. Some of these methane emissions come from

In an address to the House on Wednesday, Alabama Representative Mo Brooks read aloud a letter sent to him by Dr. Marlin Gill of Decatur. The letter holds nothing back while detailing the excessive costs and regulations that Dr. Gill calls Obamacare’s “war against doctors.” Here is the full text of the letter, courtesy of Rep. Brooks’ office: Dear Congressman Brooks, As a practicing family physician, I plead for help against what I can best characterize as Washington’s war against doctors. The medical profession has never before remotely approached today’s stress, work hours, wasted costs, decreased efficiency, and declining ability to focus on patient

Las Vegas - Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft former Florida governor Jeb Bush into the 2016 presidential race, courting him and his intimates and starting talks on fundraising strategy. Concerned that the George Washington Bridge traffic scandal has damaged New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s political standing and alarmed by the steady rise of Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), prominent donors, conservative leaders and longtime operatives say they consider Bush the GOP’s brightest hope to win back the White House.

The past couple of weeks have marked a turning point in American ugliness as the mob has turned its full fury on first lady Michelle Obama. From criticism of her trip to China to a recent “tell-all” by former White House assistant press secretary Reid Cherlin in the New Republic about Obama’s allegedly tyrannical behavior, the gloves have been removed. As described, she was a perfectionist — super-attentive to detail and laser-focused on advance planning. And this is bad because? Worse, according to a former (anonymous) staffer, there was no barometer for meeting Obama’s high standards. “The first lady having

A startling rift appeared Tuesday on the Supreme Court as the three female Justices came out swinging like Brunnhildes — women warriors — for what they erroneously labeled an “entitlement” to employer-provided contraceptives and morning-after pills. The Justices were hearing oral arguments in Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., a case hyped by the Democratic Party as a test for women’s rights. Justices Kagan, Ginsberg, and Sotomayor sprang on Hobby Lobby’s attorney , interrupting his every sentence and pummeling him with questions taken right out of the Democratic Party’s “war on women” playbook. That playbook was laid out in a

A University of Virginia student arrested by Alcoholic Beverage Control agents who wrongly believed she´d illegally bought beer when in fact she only had bottled water is seeking $40 million in a lawsuit filed Tuesday. Elizabeth K. Daly, 21, alleges malicious prosecution, six counts of assault and battery and failure to appropriately train ABC agents in the suit which names the state and seven agents involved in her arrest. Please, try not to let what I’m about to tell you destroy your faith in the integrity of the national Democratic Party. Right now, a crime wave is sweeping the nation, and everyone in this out-of-control mob has a D after their names, even if most of the media are loath to report it. If you are a low-information voter, a Globe subscriber, say, you have been told endlessly that the root of all evil in American politics is the Tea Party, better known in your moonbat media as “teabaggers.” Oddly, however, the hacks rounded up over the last few days, well,

Ann Furedi, of BPAS, said the law does not prevent women from choosing a termination on the grounds of gender and she even compared it to abortion after rape. Mrs Furedi´s comments come weeks after it was disclosed that the CPS had decided not to prosecute two doctors who were exposed by a Daily Telegraph investigation arranging terminations purely because the unborn baby was a girl. A group of 50 MPs, drawn from across the party divide, then wrote to this newspaper warning that the decision was a “step back in the fight for gender equality” and effectively changes the law without

With studies showing widening economic gaps between whites and African Americans, civil rights leaders in metro Detroit are concerned. “We’re going in the wrong direction,” said Freda Sampson, a leader with the nonprofit group Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion. “We’re getting further and further divided.” To help close that racial and class divide, her group is holding an all-day conference, called the Equity Action Summit, on Saturday at Cobo Center in Detroit. Only "mere scraps of data documented" Barack Obama´s mother´s "days in Seattle," writes Obama biographer David Maraniss in his 2012 Barack Obama: The Story. Incidentally, Maraniss was telling the truth: Ann´s "days in Seattle" weren´t mentioned in Dreams from my Father and were only vaguely implied in Maraniss´s lengthy 2008 article. And it appears that the only "scraps" of evidence of Obama´s mother´s time in Seattle during 1961-1962 was a listing in a Seattle Polk directory and a University of Washington (UW) transcript. And it appears that the only "mere scraps" of evidence of baby Barack´s time in Seattle are
