You can do all the restaurant make-overs you want. It won´t help.

I´ve been in a bunch of your stores along a chunk of the East Coast. They all -- all, got it? -- have the same problems. All. Of. Them.

How did you manage that, anyhow?

1. None of the employees and very, very few managers have the first clue about customer service.
2. W-a-a-a-y-y too many employees have w-a-a-a-y-y too much "attitude."
3. W-a-a-a-y-y too many employees are just putting in time. Let ´em put it in someplace else.
4. You need to quit hiring illegal aliens. And until you fire ´em all, prohibit conversations in Spanish by the staff.
5. Quit pandering to [and thus inviting in] the trouble-making cohort of the population.
6. Product quality needs work.
7. Product quality needs more work.
8. No, making menu-board-layout-changes changes doesn´t count as "improving the product."

Oh -- good luck. I´ll miss the iced tea.

But I´ll get over it.

The past few years the fastest growing sector of the economy has been fast food. That´s not a joke. If their sales are slipping that´s a good indicator overall spending is slipping.

Losers always "look forward to spending time with family and friends".

Maybe all their food has Bloomberg´s face on them,reminding people that trans fats and sodium are surefire killers.

a lot of what #1 says. LOTS of employees who appear to be there to get McD tax credit for hiring the unemployable.
