Gun owners enter the fight of our lives
The Daily Caller, by Chris Cox

Original Article

Posted By:pinkpanther, 11/15/2012 7:26:03 PM

The NRA has been saying all along that Barack Obama would unleash an assault on our Second Amendment freedoms if he won a second term. It sure didn’t take long for him to prove us right. Just hours after Obama won re-election last Tuesday, his administration endorsed a new effort by the global gun grabbers at the United Nations to draft a gun ban treaty early next year. The official starting point for the new talks is last year’s failed draft, which contains provisions that threaten our sovereign right to keep and bear arms through an international gun

There are roughly three times as many guns in the USA as there are people. They will have tough time prying even one of them from its owner´s hands.

I hate that hypocrite hag feinstein. She admitted to carrying a concealed weapon to protect herself from "gun nuts who made death threats" against her. Now she wants a gun grab, but of course she wouldn´t personally comply with it because she is a liberal and rules don´t apply to her. feinstein is a dangerous leftist. And I disagree with some on this site who say she sometimes does the right thing, which she doesn´t. And you´d realize that if you watch what she does and not what she says.

Well, it will START with gun owners, but review history a bit and everyone ought to understand it´s only a matter of time till you are either an enforcer for the despots or you are a criminal. Sheeple think it won´t be them because they cheer for the despots. That´s what ignorant, emotional, sheeple always do, even as they are abused. How else do you explain the smug satisfaction New York City residents have even as they are murdered by the hundreds, year after year. The concept of them having the right and the means to defend themselves that the rest of the state has, apparently horrifies a majority of them because they keep voting in Mayors who tell them what they can eat, drink and smoke.

If you own a gun, you have to seriously consider exactly what you are going to do when sometime later this year you are legislated into being a criminal. You may think you are protected by being in a state like VT. That´s great, but I would not count on that in this Brave New World.

Unfortunately, buying a gun now is probably a waste of time and money. The paper trail is too obvious. When an obama-fed knocks on your door and demands your registered guns, what are you going to do?

What law enforcement officers are going to go door-to-door here in Texas and demand the owners give up their guns? Texas DPS? Not hardly. FBI? Not enough agents in the US to collect all of the guns in a single Texas county and we have 254 counties. USMC? Whose kids make up the bulk of those forces? Obama´s? No, they are my kids and your kids.

Everybody don´t get depressed. Obama isn´t vetting his ideas with the legislature and the people, so they can be waved away as easily as he can sign on to them. As noted, if he reorganizes the govt we can re-reorganize; if he stacks SCOTUS we can stack it higher. Further - we can abrogate his treaties, shred his regulations, and countermand his executive orders, possibly using the same automatic pen he used for "condolence letters" to the families of our beloved dead. So don´t worry!! If the other treaty signatories get upset we shall send them baskets of flowers and notes of apology, also auto-signed, because they do know this is contrary to our constitution and shouldn´t have tried this stunt.

Yet another new survey shows that Republican supporters know more about politics and political history than Democrats. On eight of 13 questions about politics, Republicans outscored Democrats by an average of 18 percentage points, according to a new Pew survey titled “Partisan Differences in Knowledge.” The Pew survey adds to a wave of surveys and studies showing that GOP-sympathizers are better informed, more intellectually consistent, more open-minded, more empathetic and more receptive to criticism than their fellow Americans who support the Democratic Party. “Republicans fare substantially better than Democrats on several questions in the survey,

James Holmes, the gunman behind the Dark Knight massacre in Colorado last July, has reportedly turned Muslim and prays five times a day. The killer showed off a lengthy, thick beard during a court appearance earlier this month, and a prison source has claimed it is a symbol of his new-found faith. The source said Holmes has turned to Islam as a way of justifying his horrific murder spree in an Aurora, Colorado cinema on July 20 which left 12 people dead and 58 people wounded. ´He has brainwashed himself into believing he was on his

A presidential ethics panel has opened the door to testing an anthrax vaccine on children as young as infants, bringing an angry response from critics who say the children would be guinea pigs in a study that would never help them and might harm them. The report, however, released on Tuesday by the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues, said researchers would have to overcome numerous hurdles before launching an anthrax-vaccine trial in children. It now goes to Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, who will decide whether to

New Pope Francis I is a conservative in the mold of his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI and Pope John Paul II. That’s especially true on the issue of abortion, which he called a “death sentence” for the unborn in 2007. “We aren’t in agreement with the death penalty,” he said during that speech, “but in Argentina we have the death penalty. A child conceived by the rape of a mentally ill or retarded woman can be condemned to death.” In his writings, Francis wrote, “we should commit ourselves to ‘eucharistic coherence,’ that is, we should be conscious that people cannot receive holy communion

Democrats were overjoyed when George W. Bush left office in January of 2009. Obama had promised to end Bush´s hawkish foreign policy and the "war on terror´s" detention and interrogation regime. But in the beginning of his fifth year as president, Obama´s record has been surprisingly similar to his predecessor´s in those areas. 1. Democrats fought George W. Bush’s troop surge in Iraq in 2006. Obama copied it in Afghanistan in 2009. You would think Democrats would react the same way they did to Bush´s surge policy. But they were really more like

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama today walked away from a roomful of journalists, leaving Jay Carney to evade numerous media questions about the administration’s semi-secret, closed-door process of killing American citizens who are tied to jihad. A federal court delivered a serious blow to the Environmental Protection Agency’s renewable fuel agenda, ruling that the agency exceeded its authority by mandating refiners use cellulosic biofuels, which isn’t commercially available. The court sided with the country’s chief oil and gas lobby, the American Petroleum Institute, in striking down the 2012 EPA mandate that would have forced refineries to purchase more than $8 million in credits for 8.65 million of gallons of the cellulosic biofuel. However, none of the biofuel is commercially available. “[W]e agree with API that EPA’s 2012 projection

Of all the diabolically clever moves the anti-choice lobby has ever pulled, surely one of the greatest has been its consistent co-opting of the word “life.” Life! Who wants to argue with that? Who wants be on the side of … not-life? That’s why the language of those who support abortion has for so long been carefully couched in other terms. While opponents of abortion eagerly describe themselves as “pro-life,” the rest of us have had to scramble around with not nearly as big-ticket words like “choice” and “reproductive freedom.” The “life”

For over two years we have shared with readers the insights of a longtime Democratic Party insider who engaged in a prolonged war against the progressive extremes of the Obama White House. The 2012 election results would suggest that war was lost. Not so says this individual, a Republican Party operative who, though fearful of what the future may hold, remains determined to see their party emerge a stronger and more unified organization that better represents the interests of conservative America.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
