GOP leaders back West’s call for recount
Washington Times, by Sean Lengell & Stephen Dinan

The Republican Party of Florida is backing Rep. Allen West’s call for a recount of all early votes in St. Lucie County, saying it would be “unconscionable” not to answer lingering questions about the results — which show Mr. West trailing Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy. “The supervisor of elections owes it to the people that elected her to count all of their votes that were cast early in the 2012 election cycle,” party Chairman Lenny Curry said in a statement Thursday. “She has already admitted there was a problem with the counting process and announced she would count all the

Comments:
Finally, at least the Florida GOP is backing Col. West. Get behind this man, now! If there is tiny ray of hope that we can fight fraud, this is it. Nobody talking about this, the average precinct was at 141% turnout.

As soon as MSNBC, CNN, NYT etc claim the recount is racism -- it will stop.

There is objective fact. Having 40% more voters than registered voters can easily be verified as true or not. If 141% of registered voters "voted" in a few precincts and those overages exceed the vote difference then the election results have to be thrown out and reheld in a special election. If not, then I suggest our side start stuffing ballots too and let´s just elect our leaders based on who cheats the best.

Any time more than 100% of the people vote, there is a problem. Now, over 140% is a real problem. Let´s do it again - with no Democrat style cheating.

The article skirts the truth of what was going on in St. Lucie County. West has given a clearer description using fewer words than Lengell and Dinan did in this piece.

It´s over. democrats won by fraud again. Although I admire Col. West, there is no chance he can win this because corrupt democrats have pervaded the election system. When cheated GOP candidates take their complaints to court, liberal judges are predisposed to decide in favor of democrats.

Ken “The Hutch” Hutcherson, 61, a former Seattle Seahawk and an outspoken pastor who championed racial equality but opposed gay marriage, died shortly before noon on Wednesday. He had battled prostate cancer for more than a decade. Pastor Hutcherson, who started the Antioch Bible Church in Redmond, was not afraid to take on politically unpopular causes, such as his yearslong battle against same-sex marriage, or institutional inequities, such as the practice by adoption agencies of charging higher fees to adopt white babies. During his life, the husband and father of four was described by supporters as funny, happy and jovial even in the face of cancer, while detractors called him an egotistic bully.

The heinous intrusions into our lives as a result of ObamaCare swell each day. Now, in true Marxist form, the ludicrously named "Affordable Care Act" mounts an all-out attack on marriage. In 2010, in a Web Memo, the Heritage Foundation pointed out that Under the bill, couples would face massive financial penalties if they marry or remain married. Conversely, couples who cohabit without marriage are given highly preferential financial treatment. If the Senate bill becomes law, saying 'I do' would cost some couples over $10,000 per year.

Something always rubs me the wrong way when people tell us that hard times draw us closer together and teach us what is really important in our lives. "We´ve lost the country, at least we´ve got each other." There is something inherently defeatist and depressing about that; accepting defeat, especially unfair defeat, is a hard pill to swallow. Many well written accounts have been published indicating voter fraud won Obama´s reelection, but it was quite clear within 48 hours after the election that nothing was going to be done about it by our leadership or the citizenry.

Brewer has not said whether she will sign or veto the measure. However, a number of media outlets have reported people close to her expect her to veto it. Brewer told CNN she would weigh both sides before deciding the right thing to

It has the makings of a royal mess for “King Barack.” Monday morning’s Supreme Court argument about the Environmental Protection Agency’s authority to regulate greenhouse gases went badly for the Obama administration — so much so that the real question before the justices seemed to be how severe the EPA’s loss would be. The administration’s solicitor general, Donald Verrilli, pleaded with the justices to recognize the “urgent problem” of climate change, because the “threat to future generations gets worse” with each passing year. But as the argument played out, the court’s swing justice, Anthony Kennedy, made clear that he

Were he alive today, Richard Nixon would have to doff his hat to Barack Obama. Compared with how the Obama administration has swept under the rug the Benghazi attacks of September 11, 2012, Nixon’s attempt to cover up the Watergate burglary was rank amateurism. To be fair, Nixon’s team of Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell, and Dean were not in the same league as Obama’s, which includes not only his cabinet but most of the national media and much of Congress. If a president were intent on covering something up—something big, such as an illegal gun walking operation to Mexico or a dereliction
