President Obama´s silly, sexist
defense of Susan Rice

Fox News, by Kirsten Powers

Original Article

Don´t pick on the little lady. Wednesday, President Obama bizarrely cast the U.N. Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, as some delicate flower the boys should stop picking on for her dissembling claims on five Sunday talk shows following the killing of 4 Americans in Benghazi. But, there is no damsel in distress and Obama´s paternalistic bravado in defense of a top administration official is going to come back to haunt him. "If Sen. McCain and Sen. Graham and others want to go after somebody, they should go after me," Obama intoned

Obie´s outcry reminds me of another woman named "Rice" and a watercraft named
"Monkey Business"
and another jug-eared politician daring the press to
"Come after me"
I hope they do.

Kirsten Powers, former Dem campaign operative (and dumped at one time by boyfriend Anthony Weiner, of all people!), has been for a long time a mindless, rather stubborn spewer of Dem talking points and support for Obie. The only difference between her and Juan Williams was that she was a white woman and more attractive.

Now she seems to be experiencing an epiphany and we are guardedly applauding. Guardedly because we don´t trust Dems, not even wobbly ones, until they get a new track record.

Yesterday she made remarks when she was with Megyn Kelly that I never thought we´d hear pass her lips.

So maybe there is some hope for Kirsten. We´ll see.

Ms. Powers is not opposing Obama, but merely showing her slightly stronger loyalty to the feminist cause in this case.
Obama is in essence saying "Bring It!", and I hope our senators and representatives don´t disappoint. Go on record as opposing her, even if you know you don´t have the votes to win. You can always point back to your stand when all hell breaks loose with her as SOS.

President Obama, incredibly, claimed that he was "happy to have the discussion" about Benghazi.
Really?
Because every time anyone asks the president about Benghazi he claims he can´t say anything because there is an investigation going on. The State Department actually said at one point that they would no longer take questions on the issue from reporters.

I really don´t know what to call this other than lying, except that "lying" doesn´t quite describe it. It´s more like dissociative reaction; the man lies while contrary evidence and his own previous lies contradict what he has just said. It´s other-worldly, like a Dali painting, where nothing is real, but where reality is distorted.

How do you deal with someone when they are holding a fork in their hand and saying, "Look at this knife"? And all around the fork-holder are people saying, "Yes, what a nice knife."

It has become what I´d imagine living inside the head of a totally insane person would be. The people surrounding and protecting Obama, and Obama himself, deem their serial lies to be the truth, and all except those on the Right say "yessir."

But it´s still fun to watch with amazement the circus of a press conference using your favorite websearcher (I refuse to grace "google" as a verb) and the words "slobbering Chicago reporter 11-14-12). Poor Christi. She loves her hero soooo much.

I saw his impassioned speech about Ms. Rice yesterday and compared it to how bloodless was his speech about what actually happened to four Americans in Benghazi. It reminded me of the very odd, emotionless speech after the Ft. Hood killings compared to the impassioned speech about the Cambridge Police after the Henry Gates affair, or the "if I had a son he would look like Trayvon" speech. One might conclude that he is not concerned about the lives of white people, or white Hispanics.

Kirsten Powers has been quite critical of BO on the Benghazi travesty, from the beginning.

Rice doesn´t need help. Watch her walk... she´s a toughie. She walks like a cowboy who just got off a horse.

BO wants to continue to be perceived as the Great Defender of Women, you know, all those women who think (and therefore vote) with their "lady parts."

Rice also has the skin color deflector-shield. Or at least, that´s what BO is thinking will work here, too, ...BO and all his fellow cynical, corruptocrats.

A country that stakes its future on lies will not have one. The fashionable lie of the moment is “gay marriage.” The push to deprive children of mothers and fathers for the sake of “genderless” marriage has never been stronger. The media propaganda about its “inevitability” is unremitting. One would think, judging by all the triumphant rhetoric heard this week, that over 30 states had approved it. In fact, over 30 states have banned it. According to the Washington Post, which just a few weeks ago was categorizing Christians as racists, the issue is all settled and done.

It was bad enough for the Obama administration to earn an overall grade of C-minus on its level of transparency from the independent watchdog group Cause of Action. When coupled with evidence of what is being hidden, the information makes the administration look even worse. Cause of Action uses requests under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), lawsuits, and other tools to expose what it calls “job-killing federal government regulations, waste, fraud, and cronyism.” As has been reported by Caroline May at the Daily Caller and others, the organization last week issued a report called “Grading the Government,”

The weasels who wrote the Obama health law postponed the pain until after the 2012 presidential election. Popular provisions were put into effect immediately, such as allowing children to stay on their parent’s plan until age 26, offering “free” colonoscopies and mammograms (in truth, forcing you to pay for them in your premium, whether you get them or not), and giving women the thrill of getting contraceptives at the drugstore without paying anything. This may sound odd coming from someone who has spent his life working in political reporting, but I find it extremely sad when people can’t separate politics from the rest of their lives. I’m not talking about people getting worked up about politicians; we live in divided times, so things are bound to get heated when talking about elected officials. I’m talking about people who say “I want nothing to do with [Person X] because he is a conservative/liberal/Republican/Democrat in his personal life.” This is why I find the Orson Scott Card thing so frustrating.

If President Obama’s rhetoric on domestic policy can be said to have a coherent theme, it involves his desire to use government to create a level playing field in which no single segment of the electorate enjoys unfair advantages or suffers disproportionate disadvantages in the pursuit of happiness. He is particularly concerned, he tells us, that the “rich” pay their fair share while poor and minority Americans receive their just due. Somehow, though, every policy decision made by his administration seems to tilt the playing field against the latter.

As part of the biennial Senate office lottery, junior members are obligated to show their office suites to more senior members, who then have 24 hours to decide whether to claim that space as their own. Heller’s office suite — which he inherited after the scandal-fueled resignation of Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev. — may be particularly attractive to other senators because its floor plan includes a larger-than-average member office.
