Maine GOP boss claims
‘hundreds’ of unfamiliar
black voters flooded rural
polls on Election Day

The head of the Maine Republican Party claims that “hundreds” of unfamiliar black voters may have cast fraudulent ballots in his state on Election Day. “In some parts of rural Maine, there were dozens, dozens of black people who came in and voted on Election Day,” Charlie Webster told Portland’s NBC affiliate WCSH-TV on Wednesday. “Everybody has a right to vote, but nobody in town knows anyone who’s black,” Webster said. “How did that happen? I don’t know. We’re going to find out." Webster later doubled down on that claim in an interview with The Portland Press Herald,

Portland is full of Somalis. If this happened, I assume they were bussed in from Portland, having already voted in Portland.

Stupid question time: If they don´t live in the area, why were they allowed to vote? (Hint: There´s a very simple way to determine if they do live in the area.)

Go GOP! Keep up the good work!

I think everyone needs to vote on election day, and I think that we need some of that purple ink used in Iraq to show who has voted.

The next 4 years are going to be freaking miserable.

Charlie Webster is fearless, and will pursue this to the end. His favorite bumper sticker, available at the Maine GOP website, is "Working People Vote Republican".
Can´t wait to see what he turns up.

#1, Lewiston and Brunswick have also seen a large influx of Somalis.
If they were bused to other areas of the state in order to vote, then there are certainly serious problems with the vote in Maine.
That said, this is right out of the playbook of Obama´s ACORN and SEIU tactics.

I am not saying fraud doesn´t happen or that this didn´t happen. If you are going to say this, provide proof.

Why is it "voter" fraud, when it is obviously institutionalized and perpetrated by ballot officials.

It´s VOTE fraud.

The officials in the individual districts must be held accountable. If fraud is found, they should be put in jail, and considering these are inner city districts so much the worse for the guilty.

I agree with the above mention of the purple finger... Same finger used for everyone...

I also think a photo id of the person voting.. and how could bus loads just show up to vote? You have to live in the area for voting, you have to be registered...

Not only is it voter fraud, we are talking signing fraudulently as someone else... How do voting precints reconcile names with voter registration?

I had to show driver´s license. The license was swiped through a machine to verify it was me. Why isn´t this done all over?

Even if you´re not required to show ID, don´t you at least have to claim to be someone on the voter rolls to get a ballot, and then sign your name? Something doesn´t add up, no pun intended. Another case of 118% voter turnout. I like the purple finger idea.

Isn´t there anything we can do to demand an audit of all these states? I am sorry, but something is so wrong all over. So many stories of excessively high voter turnout (twice as high as anytime in the past or over 100%), and people that nobody recognizes at all suddenly showing up in large numbers, or Philly making the GOP observers leave for a period of time and then come back and not one single precinct went to Romney?...it goes on and on. It was definitely a well orchestrated job. We need to find out who is behind all this and break up the rings and the leaders and jail everyone who organized this. We need to redo the entire election.

Voter photo ID laws alone won´t fix this. It will require *another* photo: the photo that´s taken of every person who votes. If you have that, you have a chance of *proving* voter fraud when it occurs. Without it, good luck.

I believe the Obama win was due to massive voter fraud. The Unions obviously carry busloads of blacks from town to town and state to state to vote as many times as they can. The trouble is, we know the DemocRATS are big time cheaters, so why do we allow them to do this time after time? There never seems to be much follow-up after the election is over and almost no one ever goes to jail or is fined for doing this. So they will just continue to do it time after time.
Thse who do not learn from history will be condemned to repeat it. We just repeated it in 2012.

#9 - voters who signed in to vote should have their signatures compared with the one on file with the county in which they voted. This would take time and money to verify. The Democrats will never allow this to occur.

When a precinct has 141% of the registered voters voting, and not all voted, how is that possible? Seriously. If my name is not on the roll in a voting location, I am not allowed to vote. How is it done in Florida, and PA, and OH and VA?

Reply 30 - Posted by: jimsac99, 11/16/2012 3:37:22 PM     (No. 9019069)

In California, there is not voter identification at all so once a ballot is added, there is not way to determine if it is valid. Also, when somone votes absentee, no one checks to see if the person is on the roll. We live in an area that has few blacks. Normally when we vote, we rarely see a black voter and never see a line. In the past all the election workers have been retirement age white women. This time it was ALL young black women. The line was very long and took forever. At least 75 percent of the people in line were black and there was a constant flow of black men and woment carrying in hand fulls of absentee ballots that just got stuffed into a box. No validation at all. Something was not right.

Police shot and killed an armed teen in the South Bronx early today after the suspect opened fire and refused to drop his gun, police said. Two rookie cops heard shots fired near East 151st Street and Courtlandt Avenue around 3 a.m. and ran in the direction of fire, police said. The uniformed officers saw Shaaliver Douse, 14, of the South Bronx, chasing another person through the streets, according to cops. Douse, who was arrested in May on attempted murder charges for shooting a 15-year-old, fired at the man running on East 151st Street this morning, police said.

For anyone concerned about the specter of "comprehensive" immigration reform becoming legal reality, the event provided two cold, hard slaps in the face. The second, more stinging blow came with the realization that the anti-amnesty calvary didn´t arrive; while hundreds of pro-reform voices filled Houston´s City Hall, only three adults showed up to make the case

The terror threat prompting the U.S. government to close nearly two dozen embassies and consulates Sunday is the most specific, credible threat information in years, CBS News senior correspondent John Miller reports. Intelligence officers have reporting from a reliable source that a major plot is under way and that the team to carry it out has been selected and is in place, Miller reports. The threat information has been described as the most specific and credible since the foiled plot to blow up British planes en route to the United States in 2006, Miller reports. The specificity ends there.

Some of the earliest clues scientists had that Earth´s climate has changed over time were mismatches between the fossil record and a current ecosystem. How could this palm tree have grown in Wyoming? Why have fossils of the tropical breadfruit tree been found as far north as Greenland? These cold places must have once been warm and wet. The world is not as it has always been. And somehow, despite the tumult, species adapted, moving thousands of miles to habitats where they could survive. Won´t species today just do the same as temperatures rise in the years ahead?

After purchasing the Boston Globe in 1993 for a then-record $1.1 billion, the financially troubled New York Times just announced it sold the 141 year-old paper to Boston Red Sox owner John Henry for a mere $70 million. That´s a straight 93% loss. Figuring in two decades of inflation would only make it worse -- as does the fact the Times retains the Globe´s pension liabilities, estimated at over $100 million. (snip) What might have sweetened the lower offer for the Times is that Henry offered a straight cash deal, which is expected to close sometime in September or October.
