Is Feinstein an Ally for
Benghazi Truth-Seekers?

PJ Media, by Bridget Johnson

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has shown a renewed post-election feistiness over the scandal swirling around former CIA Director David Petraeus that could translate to holding the administration accountable for this and the Benghazi scandal. Freshly re-elected to another six-year term and pushing 80 years old, Feinstein would have little to lose by not doing the White House’s bidding — pressure that was evident when she backed off from claims that the executive branch was leaking sensitive information. “I think the White House has to understand that some of this is coming from their ranks,” Feinstein said in an address at the

Don´t jump on the intro, please. Read the article in which Johnson develops the possibility that Feinstein and her Senate Intel Committee co-chair Saxby Chambliss could bring some truth to this sordid situation.

Benghazi is too serious for kneejerk thinking or posting.

Benghazi is serious. However, feinstein is not. She has a track record of staging publicity stunts in an effort to look fair minded and non-partisan. Then after the publicity wears off, she quietly backs away and returns to her lock-step liberal ways.

DiFi could be after the truth. She has NOT said that she wants to determine the facts of Benghazi. She wants to get the facts on the Petraeus sex scandal and FBI investigation. If she´s really on the level with this, she will also get to the bottom of the Benghazi matter, and inform the public.

It is, however, equally likely that she is only angry that her power and authority was disrespected by the Administration, in not informing her of the FBI investigation. Or, she could simply be stunned by the bold actions 0bama took in destroying Petraeus for purely political purposes.

I´ve seen Feinstein do the right thing before, not often, but more than most Democrats. The testimony is secret for now.

I´d forgotten Jane Harman was still in the House. Pelosi really did a number on her.

Ever notice how Diane Feinstein resembles Lucy in the Peanuts comics (same hairdo, anyway)? Well, like Lucy, she has pulled the football trick many times on Republicans--acting as if she would support them on some issue and then pulling away at the last minute. I´m willing to wait and see, but I rather doubt she would do anything to undermine Obama and her party, no matter how important the issue.

I agree with #6. Feinstein has done the right thing at times. She may be a Democrat and she may have her negative points but she has done some good things in the past. While I never would vote for her, she is better than Boxer. Anyway, that said, it is well known that there is a rift between Feinstein and Obama. If this can chew into Obama, I am sure Feinstein wants to know.

SANFORD -- For the first time, we are hearing from the teenager believed to be the last person to talk to Trayvon Martin moments before his deadly confrontation with George Zimmerman. The teen, known only as "Witness 8," is considered to be the prosecution´s key witness, but Zimmerman´s attorneys said she lied during a deposition by the Martin family´s attorney, Benjamin Crump. A new motion filed Monday said the state knew Witness 8, said to be a girlfriend of Trayvon Martin´s from Miami, had been lying, but never came out with it.

Among them: Trayvon Martin´s mother and father, their attorney Benjamin Crump, former Sanford police Chief Bill Lee Jr. and former State Attorney Norm Wolfinger. It also includes Sanford City Manager Norton Bonaparte and several other members of Trayvon´s family, including his step-brother and the Oviedo cousin with whom he´d spent the night the evening before he was fatally shot. Attorneys seldom call all the witnesses they list, still the list placed in the official court file Monday is extraordinary

Since that time, Muñoz — who was brought to the United States at the age of one — has been out of school and out of work, instead spending time helping his family with household chores and countless hours playing sports

The state of California is reportedly considering legislation that would force group insurance policies to provide infertility treatment for gay and lesbian couples. Two men who have sex with each other for a year and do not produce a baby would be considered “infertile” under the proposed legislation. So would two women having sex. Since biology does not allow those without a uterus to conceive or those without a penis to impregnate, every year-long gay couple in California would potentially be covered by this new provision of California law.
