Report: Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. Won’t
Resign Until He Gets Guaranteed
Government Income for Life

PJ Tatler, by Bryan Preston

Original Article

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. was re-elected on Nov. 6 despite being both under ethics investigation and in rehab at the Mayo Clinic. He has not actually been on the job in Congress for the better part of a year. Now that the ethics investigation seems to be heating up again, he’s negotiating for a way out that would put him on the dole, forever. Sources tell FOX 32 News that Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is willing to give up his 2nd Congressional District seat if he’s given disability when he steps down.

When has the commision of a felonious act culminated with the removal of these freeloaders from the public dole?

A woman walks into her local library and hands the librarian a book. He takes it gingerly, seeing that the book is old. He wonders if the woman who is returning it has been careless with the volume. Not so, it turns out. The book was actually taken out from that same library by the woman´s grandfather, then stored in an attic, which she had recently cleaned out. The book — which is about gardening, or Napoleon, or maybe both — has remained intact, sandwiched between dusty yearbooks and issues of Life magazine.

How frustrating it must be for Major Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood mass murderer, a self-described Soldier of Allah, to have his mighty act of religious defiance classified as “workplace violence” by the Obama administration! Yesterday Major Hasan sent several documents to Fox News, in which he explained himself as a jihadist. While much briefer, they can reasonably be compared to Mein Kampf, which Hitler, like Hasan, wrote while incarcerated. You can read some of the documents here. Hasan believes that the murders he committed are entirely logical if only one understands Islam.

Detroit- What do northwest Washington, D.C., South Beach Miami and upper Manhattan have in common? Less than 50 years ago, the now vibrant communities didn´t look much different from most of Detroit, says emergency manager Kevyn Orr—whom Gov. Rick Snyder tapped in March to revive the broken Motor City. This is what gives him hope that Detroit can stage a comeback. It has become increasingly clear since President Barack Obama’s reelection that he and his administration intend to govern as they wish, pushing as far and as fast as they can against constitutional and other legal limits which have constrained previous administrations. It has also become more than obvious that it is willing to hurt those who might get in their way, and to exploit others whose help they can co-opt to accomplish their agenda. In essence, Obama and his administration are telling America’s institutions, its states, its legal framework, and Americans in general: “Bleep you.”

In the two months since Edward Snowden began to expose the National Security Agency’s surveillance programs, we’ve heard two different stories about them. Snowden and his collaborator, Glenn Greenwald of the Guardian, have claimed that the programs allow NSA analysts and contractors to spy indiscriminately on Americans. U.S. government officials have told us that the programs don’t allow this. Who’s telling the truth? The answer, for the most part, is both. The two sides are using different definitions of allow. Snowden and Greenwald are telling us what’s technologically possible. The government is telling us what’s legally permitted.

The United States will temporarily shut down its embassies and consulates around the world Sunday, including those in Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt, as a precautionary measure, the State Department said Thursday. State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf did not say how long the international installations would stay closed -- only that the decision was taken “out of an abundance of caution and care for our employees and others who may be visiting.” Sunday is a normal workday in many Arab and Middle Eastern countries. Embassies in Europe and Latin America would be shuttered that day anyway.

If the trend continues at its current rapid pace, it will place significant stress on terrestrial ecosystems around the world, and many species will need to make behavioral, evolutionary or geographic adaptations to survive, they said.

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice said Thursday that its remaining supply of phenobarbital expires in September and that no alternatives have been found. It wasn´t immediately clear whether two executions scheduled for next month would be delayed. The state has already executed 11 death-row inmates this year, and at least seven more have execution dates in coming months. This means more than just an expansion of the probe to the FEC. It´s a new link to the Obama team. The Obama campaign helped pioneer this tactic. In late summer of 2008, Obama lawyer Bob Bauer took
