A former tanning salon owner was found dead two days after the election after telling his partner that he was ´not going to be around´ if President Obama won a second term. Henry Hamilton was discovered next tow two empty prescription pill bottles with the message ´F*** Obama!´ written over his will. No doubt his business was going to be damaged by the "tanning bed tax" in Obamacare.

Obama said it best when he intoned "Revenge". You can´t get revenge when you´re dead. And what´s doubly bad is some democrat will be using your name to vote under come the next election.

ObamaCare’s cost-cutting board — memorably called a “death panel” by Sarah Palin — is facing growing opposition from Democrats who say it will harm people on Medicare. Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean drew attention to the board designed to limit Medicare cost growth when he called for its repeal in an op-ed late last month. Dean was quickly criticized by supporters of the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), who noted his ties to the healthcare industry as an adviser to a major D.C. lobbying firm. But the former Vermont governor is not the

Even If Edward Snowden´s leaks have caused irreparable harm to national security, those of us without security clearances only have the government´s word to take for it. But this week´s disclosure that a specific conference call between al Qaeda leaders was detected and recorded by the National Security Agency is precisely the sort of information that should not be in the public domain until the threat has passed, precisely the sort of secret that almost no one has a problem with the government keeping. President Obama told U.S. troops on Wednesday that Americans would not shrink in the face of terror threats that forced the closure of nearly two dozen diplomatic facilities overseas. “The United States is never going to retreat from the world,” Obama said to Marines at Camp Pendleton, near San Diego. “We don’t get terrorized.” The Obama administration has alluded to a significant threat to Americans abroad, ordering the evacuation of non-essential personnel from a U.S. compound in Yemen — and ramping up drone strikes there. Obama and his surrogates have repeatedly trumpeted the decimation of terrorist

Obamacare is an "anti-poverty program" aiding poor blacks and Latinos, especially in inner cities, and will help those minorities win health insurance they otherwise wouldn´t get, according to Harvard´s — and the nation´s — leading expert on poverty. In a paper that marks the 25th anniversary of his groundbreaking study of the poor, "The Truly Disadvantaged," Harvard sociologist William Julius Wilson said that without Obamacare and the president´s first-term stimulus programs, poverty in the nation would be far worse. Most of the 24 health care co-ops created under Obamacare are in danger of running out of money before they even begin offering health insurance to consumers, according to the Inspector General for the Department of Health and Human Services. The 24 nonprofits, intended to create competition for private insurance companies, are funded by a $2 billion loan program authorized by Obamacare to cover their startup costs. The co-ops are expected to become self-sustaining and repay their loans with interest. But 11 of the 16 co-ops the IG reviewed said they expect startup costs to exceed

After many setbacks, Hasan’s trial finally began this week, only to be delayed yet again on Wednesday. My recovery has been long and agonizing. WASHINGTON — For the last week, the Obama Administration has been in overdrive, suddenly engaged in the war on terror that it has denied for the last four and a half years. (Snip) While they play a game of “wag the dog,” the obvious threat is all but ignored by the administration and the media. What is it? It is the painfully open border in the south. Why would terrorists attack hardened targets in the Middle East when they can waltz over our southern border and find a cornucopia of soft targets right in the American heartland?

The smiling, earnest naivete of Ms. Burnett suggested a graduate student who worked, you know, like really hard at the library all weekend — but apparently didn’t get within spitting distance of a reasonable conclusion.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio runs a close second with 18% of the GOP vote, followed by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush at 16% and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul with 15% of the vote.

Ending a war is a good thing. Killing civilians a bad thing. Deliberately targeting civilians is murder, and is never morally licit, even in pursuit of a good thing such as ending a war. The tens of thousands of Japanese non-combatants we killed 68 years ago this week with two nuclear bombs were not “collateral damage” of military strikes. They were the intended targets. We hoped that mass murder would bring the Japanese emperor to surrender. It worked, and American and Japanese soldiers’ lives were probably saved by it —

In a rare diplomatic snub, President Obama is canceling plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow next month. The decision reflects both U.S. anger over Russia´s harboring of National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden and growing frustration within the Obama administration over what it sees as Moscow´s stubbornness on other key issues, including missile defense and human rights. Obama will still attend the Group of 20 economic summit in St. Petersburg, Russia, but a top White House official said the president had no plans to hold one-on-one talks with Putin while there.

After four years, the much-vaunted reset in U.S.-Russian relations has devolved into a chilly standoff over issues like the Kremlin’s support for Syria
