White House ‘secede’ petitions
reach 675,000 signatures,
50-state participation

Less than a week after a New Orleans suburbanite petitioned the White House to allow Louisiana to secede from the United States, petitions from seven states have collected enough signatures to trigger a promised review from the Obama administration. By 6:00 a.m. EST Wednesday, more than 675,000 digital signatures appeared on 69 separate secession petitions covering all 50 states, according to a Daily Caller analysis of requests lodged with the White House’s “We the People” online petition system.

If that many people are that desperate, how many have just given up hope? You can label me a conspiracy theorist, but I don´t believe that Zippy won the election legally. I think there was voter fraud on a scale never seen before. 59 districts in Philly and not a single person voted for Romney out of hundreds of thousands?! I don´t buy it. Allen West gets a partial re-count and discovers 500 fraudulent votes and now they won´t give him a total re-count? There is something really bad going on here. I think we have had a Communist coup and we don´t even know it.

Agree 100% with #3. Wouldn´t it be a hoot if everyone, in every state, who voted for R&R signed the petition. How much would you want to be we found all those missing conservative voters? Of course, many would be afraid to sign in fear of retribution.

Generally, I don´t sign petitions. This one is potentially dangerous because obama, holder et al. are mad men. Beware of administration enemies lists. obama already took out GOP owned Chrysler dealers. Sure, it´s understood that car dealers are likely GOP. But obama has no deniability that he singled out Republican dealers for elimination in that there were few if any exceptions. Crony capitalism is a hallmark of obama. Political persecution is to be feared.

If Romney had won, we would see nothing like this. The food stamp crowd would just roll over in bed, get up an hour later.

Juxtapose this against the vote count. Strongly indicates massive election fraud.

Also agree 100% with #3! I also agree about the retribution factor of signing such petitions. However, we have to stop being afraid of our own gov´t - even if it is Obama. This is the same type of thing that gets mocked like the "birthers". I still, to this day, do not get what is wrong with demanding to see a presidential candidate´s birth certificate since the Founding Fathers did see fit to put the "natural born citizen" requirement in.

Seems to me once the left deems something stupid everybody latches on to it as as conspiracy theory. Just like the demonization of the tea party. But try to deamonize any of the millions of freaks on the left and you´re the freak.

Perry still wants to run for potus. I can understand his response, but he is on record as having flirted with the idea in the past, so I think I know his true feelings.

Those who think this is due to Obama´s re-eection are only partly correct. This election was the last straw for many of us who feel we are past the point of no return. Its not about Obama, its about the monsters that have been bred by the socialist movement that has been under way since the 1920s.

Some are ok with it and even prefer this approach, but why should we all suffer? Split this union uo and allow some states to return to founding principles, if they so choose.

If all 50 States want secession, then secession isn´t necessary. Just a mutual agreement to dissolve.

Does that mean 50 votes in the U.N.?

Actually more than 50 because all those territories automatically become independent.

A nice mental exercise. Hopefully not a reality.

I think its telling that the people who support Obama want to punish those of us who want freedom from his tyranny (see some of the counter petitions on the site for more info). The worst thing for statists is to allow their prey to have freedom. Cuba, North Korea, North Vietnam, East Germany... are all good examples of what I mean. The last thing the socialists/statists want is for people to be able to escape their grasp.

US autism estimate

The government’s estimate of autism has moved up again to 1 in 68 U.S. children, a 30 percent increase in two years. But health officials say the new number may not mean autism is more common. Much of the increase is believed to be from a cultural and medical shift, with doctors diagnosing autism more frequently, especially in children with milder problems. “We can’t dismiss the numbers. But we can’t interpret it to mean more people are getting the disorder,” said Marisela Huerta, a psychologist at the New York-Presbyterian Center for Autism and the Developing Brain in suburban White Plains, N.Y.

The state with the most segregated public schools is New York. Other states with exceptionally segregated schools include California, Illinois and Michigan. These findings come from a longitudinal study of enrollment figures conducted by the Civil Rights Project at the University of California at Los Angeles, The Associated Press reports. The period studied was 1998 through 2010. New York, California, Illinois and Michigan are traditionally among the most reliably Democratic states in the union, as an interactive 2012 map created by Slate shows.

A law firm hired by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Thursday that the governor was not involved in a plot to create gridlock near a major bridge as part of a political retribution scheme. The taxpayer-funded report released by former federal prosecutor Randy Mastro relies on interviews with Christie and other officials in his administration and 250,000 documents, many of them emails and text messages. "We found that Gov. Christie had no knowledge beforehand of this George Washington Bridge realignment idea," Mastro said at a news conference. His report comes out ahead of any results from independent investigations by federal prosecutors and

Russian forces completed their take over of the Ukrainian navy’s assets in Crimea with the storming of the minesweeper Cherkessy. The Ukrainian navy has been reduced to only 10 vessels, with the other 51 it held at the beginning of this month, including its only submarine, now flying the Russian flag. But of all the Ukrainian military assets Russia has seized during the annexation, none is quite as unusual as the combat dolphin program. The after shots show the same faces with terrible, blotchy skin, gaunt and hardened features, wrinkled skin and wild eyes. Late on Tuesday night, the White House “decided to give extra time” to prospective Affordable Care Act enrollees. At least, that’s how The Washington Post put it, though it is unlikely that the changes they made to the ACA’s online infrastructure was the result of a spur–of–the–moment decision. Administration officials maintain that they are simply giving consumers who may be interested in insurance, but have not yet selected or paid for coverage, an extra two weeks to complete the arduous enrollment process. They add that this extension is only available to those who have begun the process of enrollment by March
