| A Fox News anchor in Cincinnati, Ohio has returned to work after a two-day absence from her nightly newscast and an apology for calling MSNBC host Rachel Maddow an ´angry young man.´ Tricia Macke of WXIX-TV was off the air Sunday and Monday, several days after she issued an apology for referring to the openly gay Maddow as ´such an angry young man´ on her Facebook page. Maddow is an author, liberal commentator and host of the 9 p.m. nightly ´Rachel Maddow Show´ on MSNBC. When a viewer reprimanded Macke for her remarks about Maddow, Macke initially didn´t back down.

So good not to have TV. Looking at the Maddow photos with the article, if someone asked "Is that a man or a woman?" I´d have to flutter a bit and probably land on "man." And I´d only flutter at all because of the blue-framed glasses.

I agree. When I first saw Maddow, I couldn´t tell if Maddow was a male or female. And I´m not Kidding. She dresses like a dude, hair cut like a dude, voice kind of like a dude.
She does it purposely. She dresses herself, cuts her hair that way, etc... She´s a female, pretending to be male. Isn´t that the whole idea of being gay???

The Daily Mail has it wrong. She is not a "Fox News" anchor. Fox News is a cable outlet that has no local affiliates. She works for the Fox Broadcasting (free) network. Fox News goes to them for some local news coverage and sometimes provides them an anchor for something like a presidential debate. But no one at Fox News has any authority over a Fox Broadcasting local affiliate.

Tricia Macke is a local darling in Cincinnati and has been a staple here for years. She is down to earth. I ran into her at a local Noodles restaurant once and was impressed that she breaks bread with the common folk...something Rick Maddow would never do.
