C´mon folks. Jeb Bush was a very popular and successful governor of one of our biggest states (Florida). We could do much worse (i.e., ANY Democrat). I cannot understand why some self-proclaimed conservatives are afflicted with the same hatred for the Bush family as the Bush-Derangement-Syndrome-addled left wingers who plotted and succeeded in undermining both GHW.´s and GW´s presidencies. Anyone with a lick of good sense knows that the country would have been far better off under these men than their successors (Clinton and Obama). Jeb Bush was more conservative than GWB, but seems to have changed.
Rubio may or may not have a tax issue(was originally brought up during his senate run). Plus he may have a naturalization issue (at least for republicans).

GWB is one of my heroes; even though I didn´t like several of his policies, I knew he was a patriot and a man of honor, which is more than we can say for BO. I believe W got a lot of things right and we were lucky to have him.

That said, I think the Bush name is going to be politically toxic for years to come; we need to look for new leadership among the next generation of conservatives, those who can articulate our principles to the ones who need to hear them: The not-yet-but-soon-to-be converts who are still politically confused. Marco Rubio is one of several young guns who can do that job quite well.

I hate Democrats, so I´d never vote for one, but I´m totally opposed to the idea of another Bush in the Whitehouse. Besides, the commie mainstream news media would have a field day, and with over half of the American public as stupid as a chicken, he´d never stand a chance of getting elected.
