MSNBC´s Chris Jansing: ´Parallels´
Between Lincoln and Reelected
Obama Are ´Fascinating´

NewsBusters, by Scott Whitlock

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 11/12/2012 1:03:02 PM

MSNBC host Chris Jansing on Monday found the "parallels" between Abraham Lincoln and the newly reelected Barack Obama to be "fascinating." The anchor interviewed Gloria Reuben, liberal actress and co-star of the just-released Steven Spielberg biography of the 16th president. Jansing compared, "...You have a president who is newly elected, who faces a divided divided Congress and a divided country." [See video below. MP3 audio here.] Couldn´t such a vague analogy be made of many presidents, including George W. Bush? Jansing introduced the Lincoln actress by pointing out, "You´re a social activist.

Comments:
Barf alert!! The anti-American 0bama couldn´t be more of an antithesis to Lincoln. It´s a gross insult to Lincoln. And to think we have to suffer through four more years of this.

Ha! many have read the life of Lincoln and the Civil War. Obama is no Lincoln and to make a comparison is just plain stupid.

Obama cannot hold a candle to Lincoln. He, Obama, takes no ownership for anything. He
removes himself from all situations ex. trip to ASIA ( Benghazi, Fast and
furious, Betraus, etc.)

His words were inspired, not hollow.
