Third Party Candidate Gary Johnson “Surprised” at Presidential Election Results

| Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson didn’t win any states in the presidential election, but he did gain tens of thousands of votes in key swing states. The former New Mexico governor spoke to Shannon Bream via Skype on America’s News HQ today. He said he was really surprised at the election results because he thought he though the party would receive more votes. “It just got down to the wire and I think people bought into the fact that because it was going to be so close that they had to vote for either Romney or Obama.”

Comments: I hope this vile selfish little worm is happy with himself. He had a direct hand in our losing this election. How he could live without himself is beyond me.

Either Romney or Obama my eye. He knows dang well that every vote he got would have been Romney´s. All-or-nothing libertarians bet the house and got nothing. I wonder if that makes them feel good?

Ultimately Johnson is just someone who was happy with Obama winning because of Johnson´s gigantic ego. He and Ron Paul should go off on an island together where they aren´t affected by the Obama court nominees, EPA regulations, executive orders, and all of the other things with respect to which - in their weird words - there isn´t much difference between Romney and Obama. I won´t have that luxury so I didn´t do a tantrum third party vote.
As Orwell said, pacifism is objectively pro-fascist - voting for anyone who can´t win is wasting your vote. I learned this long ago after voting for several third party candidates that nobody noticed. But boy, did they notice who won, for four more years that I didn´t like.

Gary Johnson is a pathetic-wannabe and IMO didn´t take enough votes away from Mitt Romney to do any damage. Seems like it´s more acceptable to blame the rodent-Johnson than to blame Chicago-thugs for STEALING this Election! What will it take for the people of this Country to see the danger in what is going on with the obama administration and their Chicago-union-thugs, along with soros, obama´s puppeteer? They are out to destroy America as we have known it. Wake up, America! God help this Country.

I looked at the math - he is annoying but he didn´t cause Obama´s victory. In fact he (and the wackjob Greenie, Jill Stein) made it that much harder for Obama to get over 50%. Back when I lived in Massachusetts, quite a lot of far-left-wingers would vote "Green" because they figured why not, MA is not a swing state.
Ross Perot was a different story, he got 19% of the vote and he really did flip the 1992 election to Clinton. You can see in the details, which states would have gone for Bush if Perot hadn´t existed.

He and his ilk are ideological fools. They know that votes for them will take away votes from the Republican candidate, and yet they run anyways. Then the USA they purportedly love has to endure 4 years of misery. Disgraceful people. Ignorant people. Ideals are fine, but ruining an election makes them cretins, not to even be looked at in future elections.

Gary Johnson is certainly part of the problem. Had he thrown his support behind Romney and if the the Republicans who sat out the election had voted, Obama would be an ex president. What the heck do these people think, that they will get another chance in 4 years? Highly unlikely. I am with the group who believes Republicans will never again win the WH no matter what voters want.

Just over a week after sequestration took effect, the State Department allotted more than $700,000 for gardening at a U.S. Ambassador’s residence in Brussels, Belgium. On March 11, State awarded a contract to provide gardening services at an “official residence” of the U.S. Mission in Belgium. A State Department spokesperson confirmed to CNSNews.com that the contract is for Truman Hall, a historic property that serves at the residence of the Ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The current U.S. ambassador to NATO is Ivo H. Daalder, who was appointed by President Barack Obama in May 2009.

With the passing of Margaret Thatcher, we’ve lost not only one of conservatism’s heroes. We’ve lost one of the greatest figures of modern times, a woman who battled incredible odds to become prime minister, and then turned her country around after decades of decline. I had the honor of working for Lady Thatcher in her private office from 2000 to 2002. Like anyone who has had that privilege, I had the opportunity to observe firsthand how fully she dedicated her life to serving her country. She was a true leader in every sense of the word, and

Anti-Muslim views have often been promoted by Republican law-makers and GOP political operatives. In a recent survey by the Arab American Institute, Republican views toward Arab and Muslim-Americans were viewed with the greatest negativity by an overwhelming majority of those surveyed. In return, Muslims expressed unfavorable views towards evangelicals, neo-conservatives and the Republican Party. Sadly, only a small percentage of Muslims polled had favorable opinions of Republicans following the Bush Presidency. As expected, Democrats were viewed more positively by the Muslim community than Republicans, which highlights some significant parallels between the GOP’s questionable approach

Everything that Melissa Harris-Perry says in her latest “Lean Forward” promo for MSNBC is completely reasonable. And no, that last sentence was not sarcastic. Since the “controversial” promo first appeared this past weekend, conservatives have been apoplectic over its content. Glenn Beck called the ad “almost a parody.” Fox News’ Eric Bolling said she “declared war on the American fabric.” And, Sarah Palin was so angry she had to invent a completely new word: “unflippingbelievable.” Those three and others across the internet and on TV are utterly outraged that Harris-Perry would suggest that America should take a more

Several snippets of the audio from the February strategy sessions were published Tuesday by Mother Jones magazine, along with a lengthy article. The recording, obtained from an unnamed source, included McConnell aides discussing ways to politically damage actress Ashley Judd, who at the time was talked about as a possible McConnell challenger.

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

Margaret Thatcher had more impact on the world than any woman ruler since Catherine the Great of Russia. Not only did she turn around—decisively—the British economy in the 1980s, she also saw her methods copied in more than 50 countries. "Thatcherism" was the most popular and successful way of running a country in the last quarter of the 20th century and into the 21st. Her origins were humble. Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.
