| WASHINGTON — High-level officials at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department were notified in the late summer that F.B.I. agents had uncovered what appeared to be an extramarital affair involving the director of the Central Intelligence Agency, David H. Petraeus, government officials said Sunday. But law enforcement officials did not notify anyone outside the F.B.I. or the Justice Department until last week because the investigation was incomplete and initial concerns about possible security breaches, which would demand more immediate action, did not appear to be justified, the officials said.

EVERYONE knew EXCEPT the voters. This was a conspiracy and treason. The highest officials allowed Petraeus to remain despite the fact he violated every stand of conduct and placed our national security in jeopardy for a year or more. He was blackmailed by the administration. Lie before Congress on Sept 14 or we will out you. So he lied. He would have lied again this week except for the FBI whistleblower who went to Eric Cantor. Cantor called Mueller. The cat was out of the bag. They were probably panicked it would leak before Nov 6. Petraeus didn´t "do the honorable thing" by admitting it. He had no choice. He is a despicable little arrogant weasel. How do the FBI et al "know" there was no security breach. The implications are far reaching and huge and long lasting. If the likes of Broadwell could get this close, who else? She actually joked on the Daley Show that she was an insurgent. Real funny.

Skipping to the bottom line, in the end General Petraeus will testify regarding Benghazi to consternation in certain quarters (They knows who they is.). In the meantime, let´s leave this gent and his missus to heal their relationship and best wishes.
