Come right in and step right up. See the bright lights and the oddities of nature. Inside folks, for the low price of twenty-two trillion dollars, you can see Binders of Women, Team Big Bird and entire reams of green windmills and fields full of bayonets and horses. Here lies become the truth and everything is full of sugar. And the highlight of the show with be Barack, the Exotic Prince from the Wilds of Indonesia and Kenya, with a special appearance by Oprah and a hologram of JFK. Here in the Carnival of Fools,

Yes, the Carny Nation will end and once again it will be the sober citizens of the town left with the mess to clean up. We all better add push brooms and dust bins to our "end of civilization" provisions.

I really want to remain optimistic and insist that this article is overstating the case with forecasts of gloom and doom, but I can´t. I have nothing to base my optimism on. Could this noble experiment we call the United States of America be nearing the end?

Don’t believe Internet headlines—no matter from which source—warning that Democrats have “major hurdles” after the latest poll. “Former top Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod acknowledged Saturday that Democrats face tough challenges in November, following a new Associated Press-GfK poll that shows voters increasingly appear to want Republicans over Democrats to control Congress.” (FoxNews.com, April 6, 2014) Voters out on the hustings for November midterms don’t want donkeys; they don’t want elephants. They want small-c Conservatives who will stand their ground against the America-destroying policies of the Obama regime. The it’s-all-but-over-for-Dems message comes from ‘Astroturf Guy’ David Axelod, who took to Twitter to get

Sinclair Lewis was wrong—when fascism came to America, it was actually wrapped in a rainbow flag and wearing an ascot. How else can one describe the ongoing left-wing commitment to the stamping out of free speech, whenever that speech contradicts the gay agenda, as well as other parts of the “progressive” platform? With the resignation of newly-minted Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich, the “progressive” Left, especially its social wing, has once again shown itself to be the enforcers a political correctness in speech and thought that ought to be chilling to any person who actually cares about individual liberty. While the worst administration in American history has been perfecting the Big Lie that all dissent to their policy stems from conspiracy theorist wackos, they are the biggest conspiracy of all. At this stage of the Fundamental Transformation of America, the wake up call should be glaringly obvious. The administration controls the ‘news’. They control the narrative. They call the shots. They do the branding and the smearing with the name-calling they intend to make stick. While various agencies under the control of the administration paint patriots as dissidents, the EPA, their lead agency for change, has been using Americans—including children—as lab rats. “Report:

Proof positive that the big global warming/climate change scam has forced pollution off the global radar screen is coming out of China, where Henan Province has been selling canned air to its residents for more than a year. Bottled air is selling like proverbial hot cakes in smog-challenged China. “Chinese multimillionaire sells eight million 80-cents cans of fresh air in ten days as pollution levels climb to record highs.” (Daily Mail, Feb. 1, 2013) “Chen Guangbiao, who made his fortune in the recycling business and is a high-profile philanthropist, is selling soda pop-sized cans of air, purportedly from far-flung, pristine regions of China

Don’t expect the Vatican to collapse when President Barack Obama meets there with Pope Francis today. After all, all religious symbols Obama ordered covered over at Georgetown University, a Catholic institution, went on to survive his April 16, 2009 address. Hedonist Obama is heading to the Vatican for star dust not conversion. According to the mainstream media the Vatican meeting comes as a rest-stop: “The meeting at the Vatican comes as a welcome rest-stop for Obama during a six-day European tour dominated by the crisis over Crimea, and the US leader will doubtless be hoping some of the pope’s overwhelming popularity will

Think of Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Barack Obama as who they really are: two self-propelled power grabbers of two separate nations singing loudly from the very same choir book. In the identifiable voices now rousing the world in the ‘Red Choir of the Peoples Republic’, Putin is the booming baritone. Musical notes coming from Obama are more of the pipsqueak kind with a multitude of mainstream media voices being the stand-out in the irreverent ‘hymns’ he sings. Their Gregorian-like chant, “O-Bam-Aaaa” sometimes gets lost with the runaway baritone show stealer when performing on stage.

Think of Barack Obama this way and getting the big picture will be yours: Obama is the magician on the world stage; the daily diversion to keep your enrapt attention while the fate of you and your loved ones is being planned elsewhere. The far-reaching fate for a captive new human society is not being planned in Washington, D.C., but in New York City. That fate is no longer somewhere off in the distant future but is being made ready to eclipse all of human society—by the end of 2015. A caveat right off the bat: RAND’s estimate only runs through March 28 whereas the actual deadline for signing up was March 31st. Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact. How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

My first published column was in a local paper opposing the Equal Rights Amendment for the same reasons that Phyllis Schlafly, a conservative lawyer, campaigned on. As ambiguously written, the ERA, would eliminate the men-only draft requirement, repeal protective laws like sexual assault and eliminate the tendency for mothers to obtain custody over their children in divorce cases. Ironically, one of the arguments that helped sink the amendment from ratification was the fear that single-sex bathrooms would no longer be permitted. In addition, opponents of the amendment also warned that it would lead to abortion on demand and same-sex marriages.

More than a hundred Republican Party elders gathered this weekend in Texas to celebrate George H.W. Bush’s legacy. But many of the event’s participants had another, much simpler agenda: launching a Jeb Bush presidential campaign. The two-day festivities featured a widely covered speech by Jeb. And on the sidelines, former Bush retainers were frank about their hopes that the eldest son could save a party the family has led on and off since 1988. “We have a responsibility to make sure Jeb runs,” said longtime Bush adviser Andy Card after the speech. “If Jeb Bush does not run, shame on us.” Card added,
