Perhaps this speech is why the administration brought out the affair. She appears to include information pointing to poor judgement at best, possibly crimes against the administration. The outing of Petraeus and Broadwell is certainly punishment for telling the facts. What an amazing find! As she indicated, now Petraeus is free to reveal the truth.

I always wondered why Petraeus was so quiet during the whole 6 weeks while his agency was being attacked and blamed.You had a CIA office right there,it only makes sense he would know what was going on there.

The real disgrace is all this coming out to help Obama hide a terrible scandal in which 4 Americans died.

It is common knowledge and my personal experience that when Jihadi prisoners are taken.....the camp where they are being held is very often rocketed immediately in an attempt to kill the prisoners before they talk.

Wow! Why wasn´t this reported at the time? It´s becoming obvious that there was a cover-up and that the CIA was involved. But the video story was just so obviously bogus that whoever decided to go with that should have known it wouldn´t hold up to scrutiny. CIA involvement or not, when our ambassador is murdered in a terrorist attack, we need the truth.

She certainly was spilling a lot of beans of her own even as she fretted over loss of sources and methods. She was rolling out the intel, blabbing away, unable to keep her mouth shut. And Petraeus stupidly told her! And why did she do it? Why, to be a star, to bask in the spotlight as someone with insider knowledge unlike anyone else´s. Her own vanity, actually.

Lucky America. Yeah, I think she spilled enough to justify the calling of Petraeus to testify. He was certainly happy to tell her - now he can tell the rest of us.

Maybe Patraeus should have spent more time thinking about Lybia rather than labia.

Paula Broadwell needs to be subpenaed to testify.

Has there ever been a more messed up presidential administration, ever? Nixon´s administration was tame, in comparison to President Zero and his band of merry men.

When things start to unravel in an organization, it is difficult to predict how bad things really are. But I have this uneasy feeling that we are just seeing the beginning of the incompetence in D.C.

I was appalled at what she said in Denver - she implied that she was speaking for Petraeus, who could not because of his position - but as it turns out its being reported now could force his testimony.

Reportedly, in late October an FBI whistleblower informed House majority leader Eric Cantor (R) about the affair. Cantor had learned of the whistleblower from a Republican House Rep. Which begs the question: When did Obama know?

Broadwell was CIA Director Petraeus’s biographer and perhaps confidante, and was herself a former intel officer. That means she should have known better than to spill intel.

And that makes me wonder WHO told Broadwell what to say . . . which included absolving Obama and Clinton of having blamed the Muslim video:

This lady is not your average stay at home mom. While being her own PR person she was obviously laying out some information that has not otherwise been reported to the public in her speech, was that information classified or restricted, and if so did her audience have a need to know? She certainly is as close to General Petraeus as one can be!

She has way too much information and clearly is way too comfortable sharing it.
