Meet The Woman Who Exposed David Petraeus´ Affair With His Biographer

| The AP has identified 37-year-old Jill Kelley as the woman who complained about receiving emails from Paula Broadwell, leading to an FBI investigation into Broadwell´s relationship with former CIA Director David Petraeus. There´s no evidence Kelley was having an affair with Petraeus as well — just that she had received emails from Broadwell that warranted a complaint against the 40-year-old married biographer. (Snip) A 2010 society item from the Tampa Bay Times reveals Jill and her husband Scott were friendly with David and Holly Petraeus, inviting the couple to their home for Tampa Bay´s annual Gasparilla Pirate Fest.

Comments: Paula Broadwell was described as being "tempermental". Is she a Fatal Attraction type?

Petraeus certainly goes for the same look with his ´Other Women´. Jill and Paula both look and dress the same (not to say Jill was having an affair with him, but for some reason Paula thought she was a threat). And both married to doctors and about the same age.

Broadwell is like the nutty astronaut with the diapers, another service academy overachiever. Lovely bunch they´re turning out in the service academies these days. They´re sort of testosterone fuelled females of female instinct or something, who can´t control their love-bug emotions, not a pretty picture.

#1, read Florence King on the subject of why guys are attracted to crazy women. Hint: Crazy equals hot, for many men.
Heat inevitably cools. Crazy, as Petraeus is finding out, is forever.

Does anyone seriously believe that LDotters have forgotten about Benghazi because of the Petraeus-Broadwell kerfuffle? How absurd.
As has been posted here many times when posters thought we could only focus on one thing at a time, were easily distracted, we can indeed walk and chew gum at the same time.
Those who complain about articles posted should jump in and post what they like rather than leaving it up to a few others and then kvetching.

I am waiting for next week. The Senate Intelligence Committee Hearing. There will be more to report on who the CIA will send to take Petraeus´s place, whether the hearing will be open or closed (classified), and on and on.
There will also be more from Peter King (R-NY) on getting Petraeus to testify after all, and watch for Trey Gowdy to keep hammering on this.
News is a 24/7 situation with stories breaking and/or developing, fleshing out (bad pun), every minute.

This is a mess made more fascinating - with rumor build up - of what was said between the two women and what was considered threatening. I suspect it was two competing women who had no clue to the damage they could cause. An obvious reason to Not get sexually involved with people while taking care of government business. Already I´m beginning not to care about this story. The only thing I care about is whether or not Petraeus will tell what he knows about Benghazi. The rest belongs on daytime television for the Honey Boo-Boos to discuss. Things would have been simpler if the General had just bought a red Corvette like the rest of the middle-aged Boomer guys.

WASHINGTON – Retired as a city worker, Sheila Pugach lives in a modest home on a quiet street in Albuquerque, N.M., and drives an 18-year-old Subaru. Pugach doesn´t see herself as upper-income by any stretch, but President Barack Obama´s budget would raise her Medicare premiums and those of other comfortably retired seniors, adding to a surcharge that already costs some 2 million beneficiaries hundreds of dollars a year each. More importantly, due to the creeping effects of inflation, 20 million Medicare beneficiaries would end up paying higher "income related" premiums for their outpatient and prescription coverage over time.

Deepening the mystery of human origins, researchers Thursday offered the most complete view yet of fossils from a puzzling forerunner of humankind, revealing that these creatures were, from head to heel, a collage of primitive and modern anatomy. In six research papers published in Science, an international team described how the hominids had almost-human hands attached to apelike arms, a rib cage that was narrow like an ape´s at the top but more humanlike lower down, and a spine that likely had the same number of vertebrae as a human.

Singer Beyonce and Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter traveled to Cuba “pursuant to an educational exchange trip” organized by an authorized company, the U.S. Treasury Department said in response to inquiries from Florida lawmakers. The trip by the celebrity couple spurred widespread media coverage after two U.S. representatives from Florida, Republicans Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart, asked the Treasury who approved the travel and for what purpose. U.S. law prohibits financial transactions for tourist activities in Cuba to prevent funding of the government, which controls the industry. The Treasury permits visits for educational reasons.

In Philadelphia, at a human abattoir on Lancaster Avenue, is where it ends, not where it starts. It starts with the perversion of language. It starts when the icons of a dissipated culture reduce a baby to a “fetus.” From there, Yeats’s blood-dimmed tide rolls rapidly in. Before long, a baby is not a person but a punishment, as President Barack Obama framed the matter in his familiar off-the-cuff iciness. Of course, to describe newborn children in their boundless possibilities and wonder would be to acknowledge, foremost, their humanity. That is why, instead, abortion enthusiasts must grope for words

Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. Given their past indifference in local elections this is highly unlikely.

Pro golfers, golf writers, and TV commentators are up in arms that Tiger Woods was only given a 2-stroke penalty for his illegal drop on the 15th hole yesterday. Tiger said last night that he dropped his ball two yards behind his previous spot, clearly violating the rule that you must drop "as nearly as possible" to your original spot. Golf people are not happy about it. They say that the new rule is B.S. (or it´s at least being misinterpreted), and Tiger should DQ himself to save the integrity of the game.

With President Obama, there’s always a catch. In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. It’s a technical change in pursuit of honesty and good government. And if adopted, it would cause benefits to grow more slowly, though almost imperceptibly so. Republican leaders in Congress ought to be delighted since they had “championed”—Obama’s word—the idea in the first place. Then came the catch. The president’s price for adopting this gentle reform was hundreds of billions in new tax increases.

The Ohio native died Thursday evening at his Montecito, Calif., home of natural causes, said Joe Petro III, a longtime family friend. Petro said Winters died of natural causes and was surrounded by family and friends. A few hours after Margaret Thatcher´s death on Monday, the snarling deadbeats of the British underclass were gleefully rampaging through the streets of Brixton in South London, scaling the marquee of the local fleapit and hanging a banner announcing, "THE B@&$! Mrs. Thatcher would have enjoyed all this. Her former speechwriter John O´Sullivan recalls how, some years after leaving office, she
