The slow death of white America:
How will the great melting pot
adapt to the millions of black
and Hispanic voters who
swept Obama back to power

For Republicans struggling to understand their defeat at the polls, the most chilling statistic in this week’s presidential election was this: Mitt Romney won the biggest share of the white vote that any Republican White House contender ever has--and he still lost. In an election battle that was defined as much as anything by race, Mitt Romney won the support of 59 percent of whites, but just 27 percent of Latinos, 26 percent of Asian-Americans and 6 percent of African-Americans. Thirty years ago, being unpopular with ethnic minorities would hardly have stopped a white establishment candidate like Romney from trouncing

Whites have a built in demographic advantage - they have a willingness to move away from large cities. The ´flyover country´ one can afford to have three kids easy, and the infrastructure is well suited to child raising.

Non whites tend to cling to their crowded cities and cramped living quarters and congested transit where the optimal number of children is somewhere between zero and one.

We will not adapt.

We will not depart from the precepts of freedom outlined by our founders in our Constitution.

Others follow tyranny. We follow liberty.

We will not accept progressivism - in any form.

We are free citizens and will not surrender our freedom, soverignty or self determination - ever.

We were 2.5 million in 1776 when we kicked England´s butt. We are 47 million today. Think we still have a chance???

I don´t think it will endure forever. Eventually Latinos, blacks, and white liberals will get tired of bumping heads within the Democrat party. I think Latinos will eventually split between the 2 parties like Italians have done.

To start with, I´m not hiring any for home repair or gardening. They chose to vote racially and illegally. I´m not going to hire anybody who may not be a citizen. That is my vote. Most work in the underground economy on a cash basis. I don´t and won´t.

That isn´t racial, that is common sense and I won´t be flagged for breaking the law.

Uh, Barak was not "swept" back into power ...he LOST 11 million votes from his prior election. The republican base didn´t show up. This whole Hispanic/black thing is a distraction.

FTA: "Liberal demographic experts such as Bill Frey says: What’s more, he says, while it always takes about three generations for immigrants to start moving up through society, surveys show Hispanic immigrants really do want to become ‘mainstream Americans’. They ‘just’ need government help — education, housing, social services, English lessons — to give them a leg-up."

I live in Texas, they don´t assimilate in 3 generations. They continue on the same path as their forefathers. We have enough data now to understand their path to assimilation. And it´s pretty non-existent.

obama and the democrats will push amnesty thru next. 100 million Mexicans will come across the border.

The GOP will help. We barely and I mean barely avoided it the last time when George Bush and the GOP tried to destroy the country.

The people are against amnesty and I remember the huge amount of negative complaints. It help lead to obama getting elected instead of a republican. Another mistake was picking McCain.

#10 - care to share where? I have been looking at New Zealand and have an application letter almost complete. I was in Wash DC the other day and was speaking with a seal (who incidentally was turned down by the State Dept as "too tough" for the job requirement). Apparently a lot of seals have moved to Costa Rica.

Article states 59% share of white vote is highest ever received by Republican candidate for President?

Don´t think that is even correct. Reagan in 1984 got 66% of the white vote, and that´s not the only example.

#7, I disagree with you. I don´t know your section of Texas, but my experience is that the Hispanics do assimilate after a couple of generations. They´re in the Boy Scouts, the church pews, the school faculties, the factories, the neighborhoods, the Lions Club, the Band Boosters. They retain their Hispanicness (is that a word?), but so do we Caucasians remain Caucasian.

The UK, however, has a distorted image of what life is like in most of the United States. They mostly know from television and movies.

If we can believe the exit polling, Hispanics voted against us not because of our opinion of the Dream Act, not because we want secure borders, but because we make them feel different, "other", they feel patronized and diminished. We can do something about that, and we must.

it won´t be a slow death from here on. It was slow when it began fifty or more years ago.

And the blacks, hispanics, and immigrants will be delighted to speed it along once they fully grasp their overwhelming demographic control.

We´ll just end up further polarized, and perhaps even balkanized. The whites, with a few asians, latinos and blacks thrown in, will have all the education, understand technology, build things, and make most of the money. Does not matter if they are proportionally smaller. The others will stay poor and work in menial tasks.

Most Whites, I think, don´t spend much, if any time thinking what it is to be White. It does not come naturally. Maybe because as a major majority, it just doesn´t occur. Other races have had their race constantly brought up to them, and mostly by manipulative Libs with ulterior motives. (Overthrow the White guys!) I wonder, with all the special priveledged protections laid out before minorities (which ironicly keep them quite limited) what will happen when they become a major majority. It´s been drummed into their collective thinking that Whites have been the source of all their ills. Look at the vindictive ´get even´ actions of Obama. ´Nuther generation - Look out Louie!

If parasites are allowed to feed on the host without intervention both will eventually die.

Obama´s redistribution philosophy will not work ever. It´s only a matter of time before a self-inflicted denouement happens.

Watch how the young people in Spain and Greece react to near 50% unemployment and you´ll know how to prepare your defense of life and property.

For those who do not know how this could happen, I refer you to the 1965 Immigration Act promoted by Sen. Teddy Kennedy, one of the most immoral men ever elected to public office. It opened the floodgates of low-skilled, poorly educated immigrants many of whom became dependent on government assistance.

I knew as a young man that this act was going to hurt us long term someday.

That day arrived November 6, 2012.

I think it would be FAIR is people from European countries were able to just walk into this country and settle. Just because we share a border with Mexico does NOT mean that they are the only foreigners allowed to tap our resources.
I say to everyone, come on in, let´s have whites from Europe come on Visas and overstay. Are Mexicans more equal than others in this human rights argument?
I have friends who waited for 13 years in the Ukraine to be allowed to come here legally. They speak flawless English, would never think of applying for food stamps, and now own their own home and work hard. They vote Republican. Where is that FAIRNESS Obama is always harping about?

This country died on 11-6-2012.

The corpse is just starting to rot, but it won´t take long until it collapses under the weight of itself.

This was the last presedential election we will ever have with two viable parties. Very soon, NØbama will be able to flip the Supreme Court to an activist lie-beral court. As soon as he does that, he will declare a blanket amnesty and citizen ship for the 20,000,000+ illegal alliens in this country. The lie-beral activist Supreme Court will not even wait for a court case, but will break precedence and just declare what NØbama did was Constitutional. They will immediately all register as Demon-RAT voters, and there will not be a single red state left in this union.

In 2014, the Demon-RATS will win a super-majority in the Senate, and a strong majority in the House. They will impose their socialist agenda on this country, with nobody and no way to stop them. Game over forever.

Next they will come for our weapons. We can talk big about how they will have to take them from us, but they will. No matter how well armed you are, when 50 armed brown shirts (with the best body armor and weaponry that our tax dollars can by) show up and you don´t immediately hand them ever weapon and bit of ammo that you own, there will be a hug red splat on the wall where you used to exist. And they will do the same to your wife and kids for good measure to get the message to your neighbors. The SS in WW-II will look like pussycats compared to these new brown shirt members of NØbama´s ´´Illegal Gun Collection Agency´´.

At the risk of inviting much vitriol, I pose a dumb question.

What is so horrid or sordid or unsavory about old white men?

I remember my father in his later years as a kind man who raised three successful children, after serving his country in uniform in WWII, and as a chemical engineer contributed significantly to the technology of his industry.

What is it about him that Democrats find so offensive? And what is it about a Heinz 57 country that stands as more noble and fair than my father and his generation?

I ask the question because now I’m an old white man, with eight grown, successful children and four decades of medical practice behind me (and still going, Obamacare willing) and find myself vilified by the left for what I am.

I don’t get it.

If there were no black or Hispanic voters in America, both political parties would be pandering to whites. There would still be pandering, albeit of a different nature.

Blacks and Hispanics (especially blacks) have already shown how most will treat whites when whites are the minority or when whites no longer wield the authority and economic power.

Think of black DMV clerks making decisions about the healthcare you and your family will receive.

Think of having to appear in front of a black judge with Eric Holder´s attitude.

Can we just stop and realize that we cannot lump all Hispanics into one big blob? There are legal citizens and there are illegals. Some Hispanics have ancestors who were here before many of us white folks. Hispanics are historically extremely patriotic and have served in our military for generations. Most of them are good, honest, hard-working people, just as are the solid citizens of any other group. Hispanic citizens are not our enemies. They are our friends and neighbors and they want this nation to prosper and succeed as much as we do. We´ll never win another election if we insist only white folks are the good guys.

I don´t get government aid (I don´t count Medicare and SS as government aid because I paid thousands for the benefit). I volunteer and am on the board of several local charities. Why have we (and are we still) let the leftists create massive divisiveness between us based on race???? This was never an issue until the Democrats and leftists started making it this way. The parties and ideologies were not split along the lines of ethnicity or skin color until the left began manipulating the people, bombarding us with decades of propaganda, and playing identity politics. Our biggest mistake, which is still happening, is that we never fought back against what the Dems were doing and we never reached out to the various communities (which need it because the left´s policies created the nightmares). Yes, the left reaches out and throws a few crumbs (to make themselves look good) but purposely doesn´t help them solve their real problems. We can fix this and break the race issue--but we have to act and we have to stop letting lies go unchecked.

Their culteral values resulted in what we see throughout Africa & Mexico now. I realized most African were brought here against their will but they did have opportunity in this century to assimilate but they choose to maintain the values of tribalism which resulted in the continent of Africa today. Students in their community are berated if they try to achieve, being called uncle Tom or whitey. Most Mexicans saw it was a deadend for them to remain there. They saw the goodies here and thought they would come to appropriate them and our liberal whites thought it best to co-opt them for votes, thus the free rides. I´m not open to joining them but would fight to the death if it came to that to preserve this nation.

#25 and #30, permit to speculate that "old white men" are not liked BECAUSE they adhere to the old time values, and they are knowledgeable about our country´s history and founding. Not to mention that "old white men" like you two gentlemen, and my dear father who is long gone from this earth, actually fought and risked your lives for this country and its freedoms. You are the living embodiment of great Americans. You have proven that this country is great, and it works, and that we all must live by the rules of individual responsibility. That doesn´t jibe well with the America the haters talk about.

You, and all the other men like you, are a threat to the people who are trying (and succeeding) to fundamentally transform the United States of America.

At least we´re not overrun with Muslims, like England is. Women in full, face-covering chadors (sp?) are a common sight on the streets of London. And the issue isn´t really white people. Bill Ayers is white. It´s conservatives vs. liberals. Birth control and abortion in particular have slowed the population among typical liberal groups--blacks, especially. In Chicago, blacks are no longer the largest ethnic group in the elementary schools. It´s the Hispanics. Hispanics, however, are not yet co opted by the Democrat party. They voted for Bush in large numbers. I actually hope we get immigration reform to take that issue off the table for the next election. And then we need serious outreach to the Hispanic community. We have the people to do it: Rubio, George P. Bush, Susannah Martinez, Alberto Gonzalez, Ted Cruz, to name a few.

The sequester may have many across the country singing the blues, but for President Obama, it was all about Memphis Soul. Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight. The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes. Some conservatives have called on Obama to give up golf, especially since popular public tours of the White House have been canceled because of

The most successful politicians write their own obituaries. I have read a number of Baroness Thatcher´s today and wondered whether the writers would be surprised if they were told she would probably agree with most of what was written, even in the Left-of-centre outlets. This is because successful politicians so dominate the debate on the issues they care about--which were many, in Thatcher´s case--that they determine the course of the argument including the response from opponents. They do this by defining themselves in the public imagination by what they are against rather than what they are for, and leaving only

Hundreds took to the streets as macabre ‘Thatcher death parties’ were held late into the night across the country, organised by critics of the ´Iron Lady.´ Smashed shop windows, paint bombs and police being attacked were all consequences of the Left´s sick ´celebration´ of Baroness Thatcher´s death. In Brixton, south London, riot police were deployed as the crowds, which had been drinking since 5pm, started to become more aggressive smashing shop fronts and throwing paint bomb. In Liverpool, flares and fireworks were set off outside Lime Street Station by revellers, while in Bristol, seven police officers were injured--one seriously--as violence

Cometh the hour cometh the man. (Or woman). Except it´s not always true, is it? In 1940 we had Winston Churchill. In 1979 we had Margaret Thatcher. But I´m not sure even the most generous apologists for our current Prime Minister would bracket David Cameron in quite the same category. [Snip] One of the key differences between the two lies in their attitude to personal popularity. To the politician it matters greatly, for the primary aim of the politician is to gain and maintain power at regardless of what cost to his principles. To the statesman, however, the political process

Republican congressional candidate Mark Sanford slammed the 2009 federal stimulus package that went to Clemson University’s wind turbine effort--where Democrat rival Elizabeth Colbert Busch is employed--as bad public policy and a poor return on the taxpayers’ investments. By Sanford’s math and reading of Obama administration stimulus allocation figures, the Wind Turbine Drivetrain Testing Facility received $43 million and “created or saved” an estimated 134 jobs. When divided, the numbers calculate to more than $320,000 per job, Sanford said. Sanford’s comments came during a visit to a Mount Pleasant branch of Lyerly’s Cleaners, where he carried in a load

Margaret Thatcher, the first female British Prime Minister who gained worldwide renown as the Iron Lady has died aged 87. Developing a formidable partnership with President Ronald Reagan during the 1980s, Mrs. Thatcher stood up to the ´Evil Empire´ of the Soviet Union, eventually witnessing its collapse. The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. Abortion clinic employee Sherry West described an incident which "really freaked (her) out" and related to the jury how she heard a child who was born alive following an abortion scream.

HARTFORD, Conn. -- With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he´s "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws. Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Efforts by Senate Democrats to reach compromise with Republicans over expanding required federal background checks have yet to yield an agreement, and conservatives were promising to try

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

West Virginia Democratic Sen. Jay Rockefeller, one of the towering architects of Obamacare, on Tuesday openly criticized program managers for not moving quickly enough to build the system, warning that if it gets off to a bumpy start it will just get worse. Decrying the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as way too complex, he warned the acting Medicare director that Obamacare is "so complicated and if it isn´t done right the first time, it will just simply get worse."

There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

More than six months since Ambassador Christopher Stevens was assassinated by terrorists in Benghazi, the Obama administration is still trying to keep a lid on information about the attack. Congress and the American people need to know what happened the night of Sept. 11, 2012. Who did the killing and what was their motive? Why wasn´t help sent? And why did the administration lie about who was responsible? Members of Congress have asked hundreds of questions at hearings conducted by several investigative committees, but many of the most significant have been left unanswered. Margaret Thatcher had more impact on the world than any woman ruler since Catherine the Great of Russia. Not only did she turn around—decisively—the British economy in the 1980s, she also saw her methods copied in more than 50 countries. "Thatcherism" was the most popular and successful way of running a country in the last quarter of the 20th century and into the 21st. Her origins were humble. Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.

Although the first votes on gun -control legislation have yet to be cast, by some measures the National Rifle Association has already won. Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. The NRA claims that the president’s efforts have triggered a fundraising surge and boosted its membership from 4 million to nearly 5 million.

Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius conceded Monday that implementing the Affordable Care Act has been more complicated and frustrating than the Obama administration expected, largely due to Republicans who have opposed the law´s state-based exchanges and Medicaid expansion. "The politics has been relentless and that continues," Sebelius said. "There was some hope that once the Supreme Court ruled in July, and then once an election occurred there would be a sense that, ´This is the law of the land, let´s get on board, let´s make this work.´"
