Military timeline from night of Benghazi attack begs more questions

| After more than nine weeks of trying to reconcile their story line with that of the State Department and the CIA, the Pentagon finally released its timeline of the Libya terror attack during a Friday afternoon, off-camera briefing with an official who could only be quoted anonymously. The news was overtaken almost immediately by the announcement that Gen. David Petraeus had resigned, purportedly due to an extramarital affair. He was slated to testify in closed-door hearings on Capitol Hill this coming week before the Senate and House intelligence committees. Petraeus no longer plans to testify.

The ongoing MSM/Obama campaign will now identify, target and destroy scapegoats. One does suspect that covering-up for His Majesty will be difficult for another full four years, but on the other hand the electorate doesn´t really care, do they? The truth about Obama´s role in Benghazi will be whitewashed, and we will all move on.

The scandals of Benghazi (lack of security, the CIA contingent gathering arms and Obama´s video lies) died with Petraeus´ resignation. As of Friday afternoon, 4 deaths in the desert became Obama´s first sex scandal. From now on, it´s Broadwell not Benghazi. And after the videos of her are exhausted, the issues will go away.
The only thing that will keep this scandal alive would be NY Times article on how Valerie Jarrett arranged for the publisher for Broadwell´s book. And how Val Jar encouraged favorable reviews. However, pro-Obama Times would never rat on a pro-Obama publishing house or Obama loving book critics. Plus, Broadwell is an Obama Democrat. An exposé would be treason.

Petraeus was being blackmailed, not by enemies of our nation- that was the initial concern- but by our OWN government. Obama knew months ago. A massive treasonous cover-up. Impeachment is imperative for the safety of our country. We have found the enemy and he is within. God help us.

Fact--CIC and National Security Council did not issue an alert for the region (NoAfrica and MiddleEast) prior to 9/11.
Fact--the commander of AFRICOM whose area includes all the Arab Spring countries was at the Pentagon on 9/11.
Fact--The only military assests Dempsey and Panetta (despite meeting with Zero, Biden, and National Security Adviser Donilon minutes into the massacre) ordered deployed into Libya were unarmed drones...what, to get video of the massacre?
Fact--intercepts w/n two hours of the attack identified the group that executed it, and indicated Tripoli was a target, so it was criminally insane to pull a team from Tripoli, which included Doherty who was slain, to go to the aid of Benghazi, as opposed to sending a military team to Benghazi, and and another to re-enforce protection of the Americans in Tripoli...
Fact--this timeline does not detail position of Naval and land based aircraft in the Med or Sosuthern Europe.

Obama certainly could be impeached by the House, but the trial is in the Senate, which will never convict him (even if there is video evidence of Obama cheering on the terrorists and ordering an airdrop of weapons to them).

To date no retaliatory strikes have taken place,..
...and one nutjob amateur "filmmaker" is in jail in America for exercising his First Amendment rights. Please explain how either of these events, or non-events, has solved the problem, made things, better or can keep things from getting worse, both here and in Libya?
Our enemies are now emboldened by our inaction and our failure to retaliate or even to rescue our own people! They already know we´ve been weakened by Obama and his Administration. Now they also know we don´t have the stomach to even come to the aid of our own people.
The normal response by our enemies is the following: make a bolder attack at America´s forces elsewhere in the world and even on our own continental soil.
President Jarrett, decidedly Muslim-sympathetic, will clear the path for Sharia Law in America by allowing all Muslim attackers and infiltrators full access and protection.
After all, she did say, "It´s our turn now", and she is Iranian-born. You really think she won´t trample white Judeo-Christian values, as Obama has done, in favor of Muslim interests?

And Hillary says she is just too busy to testify. That wretched woman is a disgrace; she has a duty to testify. She said she takes full responsibility; just words. If she has nothing to hide and thinks she did a good job, she definitely needs to tell the American people and the parents of the four dead Americans that she would not give aid when they begged for help. Hillary is a coward and probably a liar.

Without a curious MSM, Fox will not be able to get much further with this, I dont believe. It will be talked about and all say how we should have done more, yada yada. The Petraeus complication, and to me blurring of the story, will suck the oxygen from the real facts of what happened. Obama acted out of politics, the rest are so busy covering their butts, that it is all going to fade away. Makes me so angry I can´t see straight.

The consensus in many quarters is that the Libyan mission was being used to run guns and jihad militants through Turkey to Syria. If so, this handicapping of our military options makes sense. They would not want boots on the ground uncovering the operation that is arming those who are fighting and killing our soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq. Can you imagine the leaks and outrage? No, it would have to be handled by CIA, directed by their puppet leader Petraeus, who was hamstrung by their newly revealed hold over him. Look at what O has done in Egypt and Libya; more of same in Syria. Hope this theory doesn´t prove true.

#8, impeachment is a two-step process. The House begins by determining if there are sufficient charges and if so votes to impeach. Clinton, for example, was impeached by the House. The trial for removal from office then takes place in the Senate. And in Clinton´s case (as would be the case for Obama, with a Democrat-controlled Senate), there was no removal from office.

Impeachment? That is just wishful thinking. How quickly we forget about what just happened last Tuesday. America does not care about this. They only care about what others have that they don´t have, and how can they get it from them. Obama will get away with Benghazi, and he will get away will 4 more years of putting it to anyone he disagrees with. The Obama administration feels they were given a mandate for whatever they want to do. Sadly they basically got that mandate from a completely ignorant, selfish electorate.

There´s a bit of difference with Clinton and hussein. Clinton´s deal did not end with the death of Americans. I believe there are enough True Americans even in the Senate that if given indisputable facts about F&F and Benghazi, they would be compelled to vote or conviction against hussein.
Even with Clinton, several Senators were shown some very, very incriminating documents that were enough to convince some senators to convict, but as Oren Hatch(?) said the consensus was that the consequences and repercussions were just too great.
That might be the case here. No doubt that riots and chaos would ensue, but that in itself should not be the deciding factor. The criminal element of hussein´s reign should be the basis of conviction.
The critical question is, do these senators have the guts to stand up for our liberties?
FYI: A conviction requires 2/3 of senate members PRESENT which must be sufficient for a quorum which requires one more than half the members. If only 51 senators showed up for the vote, it would only take 34 votes to convict. If all 47 repubs, (present count) and 2 indies showed up and only 21 demns, the 47 could convict. Not likely, but possible.

Via Fox Nation, newly released statistics show that illegal immigrant infiltration along the U.S.-Mexico border is increasing markedly despite recent statements to the contrary by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano: “I can tell you having worked that border for 20 years, it is more secure now than it has ever been. Illegal apprehensions are at 40-year lows,” Napolitano told reporters this week in Houston. But figures released Thursday by Customs and Border Protection to Fox News tell a different story. The White House press corps should ask President Obama this question: You’ve told Iran’s leaders that if they come close to marrying a nuclear warhead with a missile that can hit the United States or our allies, they should expect a U.S. military attack on their soil. (Snip)Administration officials would never admit it, but the main reason for their being tougher on Iran than North Korea seems tied to American domestic politics as much or more than anything else, specifically the standing of Israel and oil versus Korea and Japan.

AS a Texas-raised journalist, I can tell you two things with confidence about my native state. One, its economy has been humming nicely for years. Two, this appears to greatly offend a certain breed of Northern writer, several of whom have descended on the state in an attempt to rebut stories of a “Texas miracle.” (Snip) “Texas has a long tradition of looking outside the government for support — and often finding it. That predates the Texas revolution and was reinforced by the rise of the cattle kingdom and the oil booms.”

La Jolla´s jagged coastline is strictly protected by environmental laws to ensure the San Diego community remains the kind of seaside jewel that has attracted swanky restaurants, top-flight hotels and some of the nation´s rich and famous, including billionaire businessman Irwin Jacobs and former presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Tourists flock to the place. So do birds. Lots of birds. And with those birds comes lots of poop. So rather than gasping in amazement at the beautiful views, some are holding their noses from the stench coming from the droppings that cake coastal rocks and outcroppings near its business district.

Obama, Kerry and Hagel thought that they had a plan for putting North Korea back in the box. North Korea had conducted a nuclear test in February, violating once again the various understandings that had been worked out. But agreements and understandings, written or oral, had never meant much to the repressive regime which had suspended the Armistice Agreement that ended the Korean War numerous times—including last month. So Obama decided to wave a stick. The playbook for North Korea would feature flights by B-2 and B-52 bombers and F-22 fighter jets to remind

The quasi-official ideology of the U.S. armed forces holds that generals are virtually interchangeable, that individual personalities don’t matter much, that ordinary grunts are in any case more important than their leaders, and that what really counts are larger systems that make a complex bureaucracy function. There is some truth to all of this. But for all of the bureaucratic heft of the services and the heroism of ordinary soldiers, it is hard to imagine the Civil War having been won without Grant, Sherman, and Sheridan—or World War II without Marshall, Eisenhower, Patton, Bradley, Arnold, LeMay, Nimitz, Halsey,

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
