According to two well-vetted sources with intimate knowledge of the CIA operations and events in Benghazi, the resignation of CIA Director David Petraeus is directly related to the testimony he was expected to provide before a closed-door hearing next week before the Senate Intelligence Committee. Sources close to the controversy, citing the need for anonymity due to their positions, stated that Barack Hussein Obama was aware of the CIA director’s indiscretions “long before” the November 6, 2012 elections, and knew about the FBI’s investigative findings weeks before the election, but “erected

Trust this source, too. And we gnash our teeth in outrage and lament events with anguish - yet all to no avail.

Putting the cover-up aside (it is nothing more than what we already sadly accept of this President), the former General does seem to be, in Hillary Clinton´s words, "General Betray Us", but not for the reasons that she cited. But could the then General have been involved way back in 2007 when Mrs. Clinton first made that comment? Could she possibly have known then? If so, how awful for this nation - the lies, the deceit, the hypocrisy, the shameful betrayal of all of us.

He HAD to know he was being black-mailed by WH.

Sadness for his family... [but Holly should have been smart enough to know guys are visual... then again, she´s a Dem... Hint: David and Bathsheba...] ... so sad... especially for America...

But I´ll wager a fiver that the reporting staffs at the WaPo and the NYT and all the other useless Democratic mouthpieces are huddled in the bunkers this weekend working overtime figuring out how they are going to protect Obama´s bony rump once again.

Without their fellow travellers in the msm there could have been no coverup.

We now learn that a record increase in food stamp recipients was hidden until after the election.

Iran shot at our drones at least once. No mention until after the election.

Petraeus, the perpetrator of the Pat Tillman friendly fire death, is getting what he deserves. He was nothing more than a political whore.

Bengazi........the msm never heard of it. Only FNC covered the story and attempted to get out the truth.

Election fraud......the msm never heard of that either. The election was stolen. Eventually the O cabal will feel the wrath of G-d. And that goes for the Bubbas too.

On the ABC TV news this evening, the 2-3 minute segment on Petraeus spent all of its time on the general and his lover and never once mentioned Benghazi or Petraeus´ now canceled testimony to Congress on the consulate assault. News piece included shot of Obama offering his thanks to Petraeus for service, but again, never mentioned Benghazi and Obama´s and the CIA head´s lies about video and the murders of 4 Americans.

Using one cover up to cover up another cover up.This is a somersault, even for Obama.

Justice in this matter has already been served anyway with the video maker getting a year in jail. That´s where Obama wants to leave this whole suspicious episode.

Congress needs to start investigating the high voter turnout areas anyway, the Libyan incident is "settled science".

Obama knew about the affair and put out disinformation suggesting Patreus might be Romney´s choice for VP.

August 8th:

“Director Petraeus feels very privileged to be able to continue to serve our country in his current position and, as he has stated clearly numerous times before, he will not seek elected office,” CIA spokesman Preston Golson said, according to Politico.

The denial comes after the Drudge Report said President Barack Obama “whispered to a top fundraiser” earlier this week that he believes the presumptive Republican presidential nominee wants Petraeus on the ticket."

10, I have seen the confidentiality agreement that the holder of a high-security-clearance position with the government must sign at the end of their service. It´s pretty black-and-white that you agree not to divulge ANY knowledge or information you acquired while serving in that post.

However, if Petraeus is really lawyered up and is really a patriot, they should be able to figure out a way around this.

Jenine Pirro had a great show on Fox last night spending the whole hour talking about Petraeus and how this affects the Benghazi investigation. KT McFarland, who is a freind of Petreaus, said that there were many rumors about Petraus´ affair back in 2010. He had to take a polygraph before taking the CIA job where he would be asked about any embarassing situations in his life. This is where McFarland said that Petreaus HAD TO let it be known about the affair and that this info would be passed on to the White House. So Obama had to know about this ALL ALONG!
So Obama has held this information with the intention of using it when needed to control Petreaus. Along comes this Benghazi mess and Obama uses it to try to make Petreaus falsely testify. Petreaus refuses, resigns while fessing up to the affair and is now free to testify truthfully.
So now Obama is involved in several coverups:
1)The cover up to what happened in Benghazi.
2)The cover up to cover up what happened in Benghazi.
3) And the cover up to cover up the cover up to what happened in Benghazi.
Obama is in deep doo doo.

An incredibly insightful article, not only for its revelation of the real circumstances and timeline of the Petraeus imbroglio, but also for the perceptive summary of the Obama strategy for dodging investigations (delay, evade, move key people away, and do selective document dumps on Fridays ). Perfect. Fast and Furious morphs to Slow and Spurious.

In that regard, you should note the firewall attempt by the Washington Post story this morning asserting that Obama was only informed of the Petraeus investigation on election night. Absurd. How can they not be embarrassed by such an obviously contrived cover story. The FBI tracks this since last spring, and Obama doesn´t hear about it until (cough, cough) election night?! Seriously?

The North’s Foreign Ministry did not clarify what it meant by a “new form” in its statement, carried by the North’s official Korean Central News Agency. Washington - A simple test appears very good at ruling out heart attacks in people who go to emergency rooms with chest pain, a big public health issue and a huge worry for patients. A large study in Sweden found that the blood test plus the usual electrocardiogram of the heartbeat were 99 percent accurate at showing which patients could safely be sent home rather than be admitted for observation and more diagnostics. Of nearly 9,000 patients judged low risk by the blood test and with normal electrocardiograms, only 15 went on to suffer a heart attack in the next month, and not a single one died.

Bush was in Las Vegas this week meeting with Sheldon Adelson, and, according to the Post, "many if not most of 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney’s major donors are reaching out to Bush and his confidants with phone calls, e-mails and invitations to meet." One bundler even said that a "vast majority” of "Romney’s top 100 donors would back Bush." The Post also noted that in the meantime "Bush’s

If Betsey McCaughey is correct (and I bet she is, because she has not only read the entire ObamaCare bill, she has written a book about it), Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan publicly humiliated herself during the oral arguments on the Hobby Lobby case, revealing that she either did not read the law, or failed to comprehend it if she did so. Writing in the New York Sun, McCaughey lays out what is wrong with the Justice’s declaration about Obamacare: she asserted that the statute itself mandates provision of birth control. Not one word in the Affordable Care Act guarantees health plans will cover birth control products.

Former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey thinks President Barack Obama, a fellow Democrat, was re-elected in 2012 because he ´sucked less´ than former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. The Nebraskan straight-talker told MailOnline in an exclusive interview that Obama isn´t up to the job of bringing liberals and conservatives to the table to rescue America´s slowly choking entitlement programs. And Obama, he said Wednesday in his Manhattan office, knew full well he was lying when he promised that the Affordable Care Act would allow Americans to keep insurance plans they liked. ´He had to know he was misleading the audience,´ Kerrey said

The report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations group that periodically summarizes climate science, concluded that ice caps are melting, sea ice in the Arctic is collapsing, water supplies are coming under stress, heat waves and heavy rains are intensifying, coral reefs are dying, and fish and many other creatures are migrating toward the poles or

With studies showing widening economic gaps between whites and African Americans, civil rights leaders in metro Detroit are concerned. “We’re going in the wrong direction,” said Freda Sampson, a leader with the nonprofit group Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion. “We’re getting further and further divided.” To help close that racial and class divide, her group is holding an all-day conference, called the Equity Action Summit, on Saturday at Cobo Center in Detroit. (Snip) Saturday’s conference, supported by the NAACP and Fair Housing Center of Metro Detroit, is to feature talks by President Barack Obama’s former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah
