I was just crunching some numbers after thinking about Obama´s supposed "mandate". In 2010 (latest data available) there were 217,342,419 eligible citizen voters in the US. In 2012 Obama received 61,710,131 votes or approx 28% of eligible voting age people.
The 61,710,131 votes that Obama received in 2012 is 7,788,385 fewer than he received in 2008, and is even 318,154 fewer votes than Bush got in 2004.
Not much of a mandate....

A tax increase on the rich won´t make a dentin the deficit and that isn´t the reason anyway. The left will spend the money before the first dime comes in. The worst part of the higher taxes scam is Obama will carve out blocs of his donors from paying them.Just like carving out over half the country for paying for Obamcare,like felons.

Once and for all we have rid ourselves of this fatal delusion that if we give Zippy what he wants, in two years he will be held accountable. He will NEVER be held accountable. Powerful forces that shape events in this country have gone to a lot of trouble and expense to ensure that this man is never caught and will never be held accountable for anything. Obama´s campaign was a policy-free zone. There was nothing to agree upon. He won the election because more people decided to stick with the status quo than to change. It´s as simple as that. I don´t see much of a mandate considering his failure to run on anything of substance.

I´m really surprised that Republicans don´t have recounts in other states where fraud was reported. Are their investigations going on regarding illegal ballots, etc.? I haven´t heard of any except our competent state of FL.
