Yes, I dare say it is in its present form, but that´s not really the question we should be asking. "Is the BBC toast?" Now that´s more like it. But I think I can guess the answer already. Nope. Once all this has blown over it´s going to carry on much as before. Given the BBC´s recent track record, you´d think this would be impossible. When I was stationed in England, USAF, 1960-61. BBC was funded in part by a tax imposed on each radio/tv set in each household. And the british government had some sort of motorized monitoring device to catch anyone who was not paying the tax. The device somehow could pick up radio reception signals, narrowed down to a particular residence, and I had seen them driving up and down village streets, monitoring for taxes.!
