Pentagon timeline shows
military response to Libya attack

WASHINGTON — New Pentagon details show that the first U.S. military unit arrived in Libya more than 15 hours after the attack on the consulate in Benghazi was over, and four Americans, including the ambassador, were dead. A Defense Department timeline obtained by The Associated Press underscores how far the military response lagged behind the Sept. 11 attack, due largely to the long distances the commando teams had to travel to get to Libya. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and his top military adviser were notified of the attack about 50 minutes after it began and were about to

Yeah, the NAS in Italy had air assets that could have arrived in 30 min. More chaff in the air on Benghazi...The people there were abandoned.

The first sentence says it all.

Even if this "latest" version is not totally correct, the Pentagon, CIA and other Agencies are now showing that our people were left to die.

And 49% voted for the C-i-C.

Hope parents everywhere are helping Obama reduce the size of the military by not letting any kids enlist until Obam is gone.

A Zero enlistment and re-enlistment rate would send a strong message; unfortunately Obama would jump with joy.

None of this matter now folks. He has won and the country is doomed in so many ways we cannot count. Do you think even 50 percent of those who voted for him ever heard of Benghazi? Or if by some miracle they did, do you think they would care? He** no. They only care about their Obamaphones and all the rest of the perks that come with it. I loate them all.

FTA: ''New Pentagon details show that the first U.S. military unit arrived in Libya more than 15 hours after the attack on the consulate in Benghazi was over, and four Americans, including the ambassador, were dead.''

Simply put, it was the ''military'' allegedly arrived 24 hours after the first pleas for help. Even Fed-Ex has better response time than that [sadly].

Just like four years ago, no proof of any misconduct was found in all the files "stolen" from the East Anglia CRU.

What actually happened in Benghazi will never see the light of day. Eventually, those of us who say aloud that Obama refused to help save the consulate staff will be deemed conspiracy theorists and the enemedia will rehabilitate Obama´s Benghazigate as a tragic miscommunication from Hillary´s state department.

Only God knows the truth about Benghazi. I suspect, just like with Fast & Furious, there´s some back story dealing with weapons being transferred and Ambassador Stevens had personal orders from Obama that involved transferring guns to Islamists in Syria. Steven´s death would have been a convenient thing for Obama. A rescued Stevens would have had to explain what he was doing in Benghazi with minimal security and a different kind of F&F scandal could have been exposed. Kind of like the David & Bathsheba affair being covered up by the "battlefield" death of Uriah the Hittite ochestrated by King David.

A guy was crossing the desert and wanted a four-day camel. All that the camel salesman had were two-day camels, but he could modify one. He spread the camel´s legs and hit him in a vital part with two bricks; the camel went "Oooop!" and he said, "There, Now you have a four day camel." The customer said, "Doesn´t that hurt?" and the salesman replied, "Only if you get your fingers between the bricks."

Be careful that your fingers don´t get between the bricks.

Pope Francis surprised his own master of ceremonies on Friday by confessing his sins to an ordinary priest in St. Peter´s Basilica. The pope was presiding at a service intended to show the importance he attaches to the sacrament of reconciliation, commonly known as confession. After reading a sermon, he was to have gone to an empty confessional booth to hear confessions from ordinary faithful as some 60 priests scattered around the huge church did the same. His master of ceremonies, Monsignor Guido Marini, pointed him toward the empty booth but the pope went straight to a another one, knelt

Ninety people are still missing or unaccounted for - but authorities have warned that they are unlikely to find anyone alive nearly a week after the disaster. In school, a child who gets a 67 percent will generally get a D. But for Obamacare, 67 percent is apparently grounds for an A. Talk about grading on a curve. In 2012, the Congressional Budget Office projected that 9 million people would get health insurance for 2014 through Obamacare’s government-run exchanges. Two days ago, the Obama administration announced that 6 million people had gotten insurance for 2014 through those very same exchanges—and the administration could barely contain its glee. So, what gives? In the summer of 2012, the Supreme Court issued its Obamacare ruling, holding that Obamacare’s individual mandate was

BRUSSELS— NATO’s next leader was announced Friday: former Norwegian Premier Jens Stoltenberg will lead the military alliance starting in October. The appointment comes at a critical time as the crisis over Ukraine has suddenly made the 28-nation alliance a more relevant security force in Europe. NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will step down after a NATO summit in Wales later this year. “Warm congratulations” Fogh Rasmussen said in a Twitter message Friday to his fellow Scandinavian politician. The past weeks had seen a flurry of diplomacy as member states sought to push their candidates into NATO’s top political job. Norwegian

As part of its plan to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, the Obama administration is targeting the dairy industry to reduce methane emissions in their operations. This comes despite falling methane emission levels across the economy since 1990. The White House has proposed cutting methane emissions from the dairy industry by 25 percent by 2020. Although U.S. agriculture only accounts for about 9 percent of the country’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, it makes up a sizeable portion of methane emissions — which is a very potent greenhouse gas. Some of these methane emissions come from

When Jorge Mario Bergoglio became Pope Francis a little more than a year ago, the first thing that struck those who knew him well was his unexpected, beatific smile. “In Argentina, he didn’t smile like that,” Sergio Rubin, the pope’s biographer, said this week at a conference sponsored by the Ethics and Public Policy Center. “That was the big surprise.” Since then, the pope has mostly kept on smiling — in homilies, in audiences, in meetings with the homeless and the poor.
