David Petraeus in shock resignation
from CIA after admitting affair

Telegraph [UK], by Raf Sanchez*

Original Article

General David Petraeus, the Director of the CIA, has dramatically resigned his post after admitting to having an extramarital affair. [Snip] "After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours," he said in a statement. Gen Petraeus is married to Holly Petraeus, a senior official in Mr Obama’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where she leads an agency that works to protect members of the military and their families from abusive money-lenders.

There ARE no coincidences. One week before he was to testify before Congress on Benghazi after a stellar 40 year career. Nothing to see here. Move on.

If he confesses then they can no longer use it as blackmail. Best way to handle a problem like that is get it out in the open.
Giving good odds that Issa will subpoena him before the House committee that is investigating Benghazi.
That is if he stays away from Ft Marcy park!

If Friday’s Israeli media reports about last week’s Washington visit by Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas prove true, President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry could well face their most difficult foreign policy challenge to date--namely, figuring out how to blame Israel for Abbas’ rejection of the three key points that compromise Secretary Kerry’s proposed framework agreement. Israel’s Channel 2 TV reported that Abbas used the occasion of last Monday’s White House meeting with Obama to flatly reject any possibility of accepting Kerry’s framework proposal which was crafted specifically to permit peace talks to continue after the expiration of Abbas´s

Venetians have voted overwhelmingly for their own sovereign state in a ‘referendum’ on independence from Italy. Inspired by Scotland’s separatist ambitions, 89 percent of the residents of the lagoon city and its surrounding area, opted to break away from Italy in an unofficial ballot. The proposed ‘Repubblica Veneta’ would include the five million inhabitants of the Veneto region and could later expand to include parts of Lombardy, Trentino and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The floating city has only been part of Italy for 150 years. The 1000 year–old democratic Serenissima Repubblica di Venezia, was quashed by Napoleon and was subsumed into Italy

Normally when a country’s people give a referendum vote that the EU doesn’t like, they are just told to vote again to put it right. In the case of Crimea, however, where 96 percent of the people voted to return to Russia, the EU was in no position to ask them to think again. Black students are more likely to be suspended from U.S. public schools — even as tiny preschoolers. The suspensions — and disparities — begin at the earliest grades. Black children represent about 18 percent of children in preschool programs in schools, but they make up almost half of the preschoolers who are suspended more than once, the report said.
