| Well, now that it's over - and it is, OVER - I might as well add to the requiem vault. I made this list Monday evening before the last vestiges of the Constitution were steam-rolled by Zombies, and the lamp of Liberty grew dim. Many good-hearted patriots are bucking-up, dusting off their Patrick Henry and Thomas Paine quotes, but the fact is, ObamaCare - a colossal, debt-driven nightmare - will, indeed, transform America (as per Obama's wish), and the radical quislings for whom he is sovereign will press forward on many fronts.

-Religious liberty and the Constitutional protection of moral conscience; I STILL HAVE IT!
-Abundant, affordable energy--the key to economic prosperity and growth; ITS STILL HERE WAITING TO BE HARVESTED!
-An American military capable of protecting our national interests and projecting power, when and where necessary, around the globe; YES IT IS BEING DIMINISHED BUT ITS TIME WE STOP BEING THE WORLD POLICEMAN!
-Affordable, accessible, and innovative health care based, increasingly, on transparent pricing, choice and competition; IT WILL STILL HAPPEN!
-A federal budget that averts Fiscal Calamity the result of massive debt; THE CHORUS OF RAGE CONTINUES TO GET LOUDER!
-Education policies that prioritize parental wishes and that which is best, in respective states, for each child; THE NUMBER OF CHARTER SCHOOLS CONTINUE TO INCREASE!
-Tax rates that encourage individual initiative and entrepreneurial risk, as opposed to crushing, punitive taxes that stymie opportunity and discourage endeavor; WRONG DIRECTION NOW, BUT WATCH FOR A BACKLASH!
-Courts - including the Supreme Court - ideologically oriented toward upholding the Bill of Rights; WAIT FOR THE BACKLASH!
-An immigration policy that values LEGAL citizenship and creates disincentives to hire aliens who take Americans' jobs; WRONG HERE. THE LATINO POPULATION DON’T WANT ILLEGAL STATUS. THEY WANT LEGAL STATUS. ITS BORDER PATROL THAT NEEDS FIXING.
-The sanctity of Human Life as a national priority; THE MEDIA TELLS US THAT IT IS NOT IMPORTANT BUT THEY LIE!
-The sanctity of Marriage as a heterosexual institution; ITS STILL THE SAME ONLY WE NEED TO GET OFF OUR HIGH HORSE AND LET PEOPLE LIVE THEIR OWN LIVES!
-The sanctity of religious expression as a bulwark of American Life. PEOPLE OF FAITH NEED TO TAKE A STAND FOR THEIR RIGHTS! BE PREPARED TO BE PERSECUTED!
STOP WITH THIS PITY PARTY AND FIGHT FOR YOUR PRINCIPALS!

It is the adoption of the Monroe Doctrine that is one of the cornerstones of America's make-up. Our defense of freedom and liberty is what made us that "Shining city on a hill". To desist, we only provide the liberal fascist dictators the world over an excuse to allow their evil to flourish.
"All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."
America CANNOT do nothing. It is who we ARE!

Comment #1 is nutty. Obama cannot be "resisted." The media will crucify any politician who tries. Furthermore, the media will call anything Obama does as a success, a great leap forward. Winning in public will now be out of the question.
However, winning in private is still possible. Order your own life. Take care of your own. Stay out of the public eye. Defend yourself. And keep your sense of humor.
That's how people in the Soviet Union survived. And throughout Easter Europe. If you have relatives who lived under that system, talk with them. They will have many good tips that will be of great practical help.
Just remember, keep your head down.

obama figured out a way to game many of the voting machines (software within) or just the voting collation process. No way this was a low turnout election. Millions of republican votes were discarded.

Keep telling yourself that you'll have accessible healthcare while the death panel decides whether your elderly parent or your handicapped child need to have lifesaving care. The extra costs might bankrupt the system, doncha know? Keep expecting that you'll get choice and competition in your healthcare. Yup, that always happens with a single-payor system.
What's coming is slow, surly, incompetent and then practically nonexistent hospital and outpatient care. I hope you come from healthy stock or have money to get healthcare someplace offshore.

Being strategic in our thinking is far from doing nothing!..smart not big ...partnering with freedom fighters not dictators.
Let the world experience THEIR inaction not ours. The UN is pathetic and needs to bear the responsibility of world consequences, not America. We need to kick them out of NYC!
Your suggestion is to partner with others who do not value our freedoms the way our Founding Fathers did.

A major tea party group is planning protests at Internal Revenue Services nationwide Tuesday following revelations earlier this month that the tax agency had flagged organizations with the words "tea party" or "patriot" for additional scrutiny. The protests were originally scheduled only for Cincinnati, where the IRS has said employees responsible for the targeting were based. But Tea Party Patriots head Jenny Beth Martin tells Whispers she received requests to protest across the country. A call to action on the group´s web site tells supporters that "the IRS is out of control" and so

President Obama will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in California on June 7-8, the White House announced Monday. It will be Mr. Obama’s first meeting with Mr. Xi since he became president of China in March. They previously met in Washington in 2011 when Mr. Xi was vice president. The talks come amid heightened U.S. tensions over cyberattacks reportedly originating in China. But the Obama administration said it has been pleased with Beijing’s cooperation in trying to persuade North Korea to reduce its belligerent military actions this spring.

The Indiana attorney general’s office confirmed Monday it is investigating a security breach in which Social Security numbers and other personal information were posted online for roughly 44,000 low-income Americans who applied for a federal program that provides discount Internet and phone service. The program was nicknamed the “Obamaphone” during the 2012 election, though it actually started long before President Obama took office. Indiana reportedly has the highest number of applicants, roughly 17,400, who were signed up by TerraCom Inc. and the affiliated YourTel America Inc. Applicants from at least 26 states were exposed to the security breach,

WASHINGTON- Apple Inc. has used an elaborate web of offshore subsidiaries to avoid paying billions of dollars in U.S. taxes on $44 billion in foreign income over the past four years, a Senate investigation has found. Many of the tactics, such as cost-sharing arrangements, are common among large multinational corporations seeking to shift profits to countries with lower tax rates. The investigation did not find Apple violated any laws. But three of its subsidiaries in Ireland claim to have no responsibility to pay income taxes to any country, according to a 40-page, bipartisan report released Monday

Monday afternoon, ABC News released a chilling report that details what journalists have faced while trying to get some answers from the Cincinnati IRS office, which is where a majority of the Tea Party targeting took place. According to ABC, an "armed uniform police officer with the Federal Protective Service" "escorted" reporters through the public building. ABC says if the intent wasn´t to "scare off" employees who might talk, "it was the effect." ABC News is also hearing conflicting reports from Cincinnati IRS employees and the IRS Headquarters in Washington.

CINCINNATI- Few workers know the IRS Cincinnati office better than Bonnie Esrig, who worked there for 24 years. She retired from her job as a senior manager in January. Esrig said she did not recall any discussion of politics in the office. "Politics and religion were things people generally didn´t talk about at work," she said. Esrig did not work on political cases and was not connected to the applications at the center of the controversy. But she worked in the same office where fewer than 200 people were dealing with 73,000 applications for exemptions last year.

U.S. Sen. John McCain bucked the party line coming from many of his fellow conservatives this morning, saying suggestions that compare the trio of scandals gripping the White House to Watergate are “overreaching.” “I think it’s overreaching. We need a full and complete investigation and then we will decide the dimensions of it,” said McCain while campaigning for Republican Senate candidate Gabriel Gomez in Dorchester. “It is terrible but we have to have a full investigation before we leap to conclusions.” The maverick’s caution is a sharp contrast to the response of many Republicans

In a hearing that started 45 minutes late after a one-hour announced delay, Carney said that ´no one in this building intervened in an ongoing, independent investigation´ by the IRS Office of Inspector General, which was examining ´Nine IRS employees´ who were targeting conservative groups for special scrutiny. ´We did not have a copy of the draft report´ before it was leaked to media outlets

Former U.S. Attorney for Arizona Dennis Burke violated Justice Department policies by releasing a memo written by an Operation Fast & Furious whistleblower to the media, Justice´s Inspector General found in a report issued Monday. The report called Burke´s actions "wholly unbefitting a U.S. Attorney." He resigned after acknowledging the disclosure in 2011, so no discipline by the department is possible. However, Inspector General Michael Horowitz referred the matter to Justice´s legal ethics watchdogs for possible referral to bar authorities in the District of Columbia and Arizona.

The White House Visitors Log reveals that President Barack Obama met with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) union boss Colleen Kelley on March 31, 2010—the day before the Inspector General´s report says the IRS began its scheme to target tea party and conservative groups. Furthermore, Obama appointed Colleen Kelley, president of the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU), to the Federal Salary Council whose job is to recommend pay raises for IRS and other federal employees one week after Obama and Democrats suffered historic midterm losses in 2010. Two years later, Kelley’s 150,000-member union had raised $580,412,

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

WASHINGTON – White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said Sunday Republicans owe Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, an apology for alleging she played a part in formulating the White House’s response to the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, last year that killed four Americans. Pfeiffer said on ABC’s “This Week” that the release of more than 100 pages of Benghazi emails and notes show “beyond a shadow of the doubt” that accusations she tried to change the narrative of what happened in the attacks was false. President Barack Obama has an important new ally as emboldened Republicans work to derail his agenda: John McCain. The shift is striking: The 2008 rivals never got along throughout Obama’s first term in office. McCain has been Obama’s chief tormentor on issues ranging from the budget to Benghazi, tartly saying in late 2010 that the two men had “no relationship.” Yet during one of Obama’s toughest times as president, there was McCain, sitting down last week with him in the Oval Office for a private strategy session. In early 2010, an Internal Revenue Service team in Cincinnati began noticing a stream of applications from groups with political-sounding names, setting in motion a dragnet aimed at separating legitimate tax-exempt groups from those working to get candidates elected. The IRS officials decided to single out one type of political group for particular scrutiny. “These cases involve various local organizations in the Tea Party movement,” read one internal IRS e-mail sent at the time. A few hours north in Fremont, Ohio, the owners of a drainage supply shop, Tom and Marion Bower, were wondering why it was taking so long
