Lady Bird came into my place of business several times...before, during and after their years, and was absolutely delightful. Her native home was nearby.
Typically East Texan....graceful, polite, charming, with lots to say and cordial to everyone. We always looked forward to her visits.

In fact, I would venture to say that she "worked so hard" to guarantee continued taxpayer funded vacations for her, her mom and kids.
