Awkward first press conference
for senator-elect Warren

Boston Herald, by Chris Cassidy

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 11/8/2012 3:49:52 PM

A jittery U.S. senator-elect Elizabeth Warren gave one-sentence answers, ducked questions and even passed one on to Gov. Deval Patrick in an awkward first press conference since the election. Warren spoke for a total of less than four minutes during the 11-minute press conference — the rest was taken up by Patrick and reporters’ questions. After being asked her first question — how she’d protect defense spending — Warren was silent as she turned to Patrick. “Defense spending is you,” Patrick prodded Warren. “Oh, that’s mine,” Warren replied.

Silly people, Granny Warren was elected to use her lady smarts, she was elected to prop up her pimp daddy's policies. She's supposed to show up and vote yes at the right times and no at the right times and by all means, keep those glasses on as that is about the only intelligent thing about you.
Mass. will regret the loss of Brown, but thankfully he's young and could run again and beat the beaded fringe off of this fraudulent squaw.

Nice job done by the leftists in Massachusetts. She thinks defense spending is up to the Governor of Massachusetts.

I wonder if she has ever read the Constitution of the United States...or would that be viewed as being patriotic?

Rush also does a parody of a liberal who wants his tattoo removed in the Tattoo Removal Program who says in a dopey voice, "I did't know how to spell maroon." I always assumed that he spelled it moron. Sort of a reverse bugs bunny joke.

Well senators can be impeached, but every liberal absolutely owns the coming, improved disaster. All of their bright ideas from anti redlining to killing Glass Stegall have brought the planet unbearable debt. Very soon we will see what the reset will bring, but first EVERY dollar, EVERY fiat currency will be destroyed, replaced or expanded. All the careful savings might go away overnight or shrink as incredible inflation kicks in. Being smug about inflation because the economy is in a coma now doesn't mean it isn't ready to flame on.

Everyone from Europe to CA and NY will shamble into the White House with a plea about too big to fail and this President won't have an alternative. Especially if he turns to a senate populated by clones of this idiot.

Citizens of the commonwealth, you have made your selections and may need to change the name of your body to commonpoverty. It won't be long before you are investigating how to throw out a Senator. Wait till you discover that having a state created insurance exchange creates a tax liability and increases the cost on small businesses.

When Deval Patrick looks like the only one with 2 brain cells at the podium,
you know you have a problem.
Squaw Warren makes Biden look like a Phi Beta Kappa or at least someone
conversant with the English language.
Maybe the press should ask questions with smoke signals because Warren is clearly confused.
And before everyone throws the entire state into the fire,
we should keep in mind that a fair number of Massachusetts counties
went for Romney and
there are 1,177,370 patriots in Massachusetts
who voted Romney.
Unfortunately , like the rest of us, they were just outnumbered.

A US Navy official warned Sunday that finding the missing Malaysian jet may be impossible, as efforts to locate the plane intensified ahead of the expected failure of its black-box homing beacons. “It all depends on how effective we are at reducing that search area,” Capt. Mark Matthews told reporters at Australia’s Stirling Naval Base near Perth. “Right now, the search area is basically the size of the Indian Ocean, which would take an untenable amount of time to search.” Matthews — who is in charge of the Navy’s “Towed Pinger Locator” system for finding black boxes — compared the

A senior White House reporter´s Twitter account has exploded after she posted controversial photos from President Obama´s trip to Saudi Arabia. Carrie Budoff Brown, who writes for Politico, transfixed thousands of Saudis who are starved of news from their own royal family and government because of strict censorship rules. However, since the Arab Spring, use of Twitter and other social networks has expanded exponentially in the region, making it the fasted growing market in the world. And when Brown began posting pictures of 89-year-old King Abdullah, whose health is unknown to his people, with an oxygen tube beneath his nose,

That may be why some centrist Democrats facing uphill campaign battles have kept their distance from the Democratic leadership’s agenda items. The group, Each American Dream, which has a starter budget of $1 million, has commissioned a poll showing that 67 percent of swing voters believe expanding businesses and creating jobs is the best strategy for reducing economic inequality, not raising the minimum wage. Fifty-nine percent of swing voters said

I didn’t set out to become Twitter famous in Saudi Arabia. As a senior White House reporter for POLITICO, I’ve traveled all over the country and the world with President Barack Obama, touching down in Air Force One on one unremarkable tarmac after another to record his arrival. I seldom find them noteworthy — and, as an infrequent tweeter, rarely ever share-worthy.But Riyadh was different. A stunning display of Saudi guards awaited Obama at the airport Friday in perfect formation, swords in hand and scarves on their head. So I did something I don’t normally do: I tweeted the photos.

Obamacare Enrollment Deadline

WASHINGTON — LeBron James wants you to sign up for health coverage under Obamacare. So do Magic Johnson and Jonah Hill’s mom. Monday is (sort of) the deadline for Americans without employer-provided health coverage to sign up for insurance under the Affordable Care Act — the White House extended it so that anyone who’s begun to sign up by Monday can still complete the process by April 7 — and the final enrollment numbers will be an important test for a law intended to expand access for the uninsured. It’ll also be a test for the White House’s high-octane sales

If a Christian man marries an atheist woman, and they name their child Noah after the Biblical hero, is Noah a Christian? It takes a great deal more than words to be a Christian, or even to truthfully call oneself religious; but in Hollywood, where superficiality rules, spirituality is like an all-access pass, no Biblical understanding required. Apparently, Paramount Studios caught wind of all the hullabaloo about how the American public is clamoring for faith-based films. They got a Christian producer and a first-rate, albeit atheist, director, and the project was quickly green-lighted. However, as the saying goes, the devil

GREECE, N.Y.- At their most recent monthly meeting, the five members of the Greece Town Board took their seats, gaveled to order and moved quickly through the regular opening agenda: Roll Call. (Check.) Pledge of Allegiance. (Check.) Moment of Prayer. (Check.) Leaders of this town of 96,000 outside Rochester say they have no plans to shake up the longtime routine unless, of course, the U.S. Supreme Court orders them to. A ruling could come any day now on whether the town violated the Constitution with its opening prayers because nearly every one in an 11-year span was overtly Christian. This

With the end of the month bringing to a close the latest political fundraising quarter, Vice President Joe Biden is warning that without a ton of new money, the Democrats could lose the Senate to Sen. Ted Cruz. “We could lose,” is the headline on his fundraising email for the Democratic Party. “Losing will mean more senators like Ted Cruz, and more Tea Party Republicans in the House,” he cries out in the email published below: I´ve been in this business a long time, and I´ve seen a lot of deadlines come and go. But let me tell you why the

LOS ANGELES- Kraft Macaroni & Cheese has been a favorite meal for generations of American children, but smaller brands made with more natural ingredients are starting to nibble at its market share, part of a trend that is biting into growth at large U.S. food companies. Zenobia Godschalk, an Atlanta mother of two young boys, stopped buying Kraft´s "mac and cheese" after reading its complicated ingredient list. Now she buys Annie´s organic version in bulk at Costco Wholesale Corp . "I´m fully aware that it is not a health food," said Godschalk, of Annie´s macaroni and cheese product. "But the

Imagine if a former Republican presidential candidate and U.S. senator had called a current Republican president a delusional liar whose programs are wasteful. Would the mainstream media not be all over the story? Such a person would be interviewed at length by Wolf Blitzer on CNN as well as made the rounds of the morning talk shows and the Sunday news programs as well. The media buzz would be red hot on this topic for days extending into weeks. Well, there is such a person but because he is a Democrat saying these things about President Obama, we can expect

After a disastrous presidential campaign in 2012, can Texas Governor Rick Perry mount a credible bid for the White House in 2016? Texas Governor Rick Perry is currently on a media tour touting the theme that America is a great place for second chances, specifically second chances for Texas governors with national ambitions. Perry is trying to erase the memory of his disastrous 2012 GOP presidential campaign which included “brain-farts” and “oops” debate moments with his folksy, charming, and uniquely American manner. Curious about Perry’s comeback strategy, I asked Texan and GOP presidential media guru, Mark McKinnon and he said,

A startling rift appeared Tuesday on the Supreme Court as the three female Justices came out swinging like Brunnhildes — women warriors — for what they erroneously labeled an “entitlement” to employer-provided contraceptives and morning-after pills. The Justices were hearing oral arguments in Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., a case hyped by the Democratic Party as a test for women’s rights. Justices Kagan, Ginsberg, and Sotomayor sprang on Hobby Lobby’s attorney , interrupting his every sentence and pummeling him with questions taken right out of the Democratic Party’s “war on women” playbook. That playbook was laid out in a

Las Vegas - Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft former Florida governor Jeb Bush into the 2016 presidential race, courting him and his intimates and starting talks on fundraising strategy. Concerned that the George Washington Bridge traffic scandal has damaged New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s political standing and alarmed by the steady rise of Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), prominent donors, conservative leaders and longtime operatives say they consider Bush the GOP’s brightest hope to win back the White House.

The past couple of weeks have marked a turning point in American ugliness as the mob has turned its full fury on first lady Michelle Obama. From criticism of her trip to China to a recent “tell-all” by former White House assistant press secretary Reid Cherlin in the New Republic about Obama’s allegedly tyrannical behavior, the gloves have been removed. As described, she was a perfectionist — super-attentive to detail and laser-focused on advance planning. And this is bad because? Worse, according to a former (anonymous) staffer, there was no barometer for meeting Obama’s high standards. “The first lady having

Where’s the beef? That’s what the carnivores were wondering as they arrived at the Boathouse in Central Park for the “Noah” party. The buffet tables were loaded with various forms of edible vegetable matter, but there was no meat, fish or cheese — because director Darren Aronofsky is vegan, as was the hero of his biblical epic, as played by Russell Crowe. To underscore the point in the movie, which also stars Emma Watson and Jennifer Connelly, villain Tubal-cain (Ray Winstone) eagerly bites the head off an unidentified reptile and devours it raw. Meat = evil. Got it. As hungry Boathouse guests bellied

A University of Virginia student arrested by Alcoholic Beverage Control agents who wrongly believed she´d illegally bought beer when in fact she only had bottled water is seeking $40 million in a lawsuit filed Tuesday. Elizabeth K. Obamacare supporters are taking a bit of a victory lap today after yesterday’s administration announcement that six million people have signed up for private plans under the law, equaling the revised projection put out by the Congressional Budget Office after the botched launch of the exchanges last October. It’s a weak cause for celebration, given that success, according to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, was originally "at least" seven million people getting covered under the law by the end of March. And as an Obamacare factoid, the six million sign-ups figure just doesn’t tell us all that much

A "vast majority" of Mitt Romney donors, establishment pooh-bahs, and an anti-conservative consultant who is the epitome of permanent political class want former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to run for president in 2016. Bush was in Las Vegas this week meeting with Sheldon Adelson, and, according to the Post, "many if not most of 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney’s major donors are reaching out to Bush and his confidants with phone calls, e-mails and invitations to meet." One bundler even said that a "vast majority” of "Romney’s top 100 donors would back Bush." The Post also noted that in the meantime "Bush’s

If Betsey McCaughey is correct (and I bet she is, because she has not only read the entire ObamaCare bill, she has written a book about it), Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan publicly humiliated herself during the oral arguments on the Hobby Lobby case, revealing that she either did not read the law, or failed to comprehend it if she did so. Writing in the New York Sun, McCaughey lays out what is wrong with the Justice’s declaration about Obamacare: she asserted that the statute itself mandates provision of birth control. Not one word in the Affordable Care Act guarantees health plans will cover birth control products.

Former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey thinks President Barack Obama, a fellow Democrat, was re-elected in 2012 because he ´sucked less´ than former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. The Nebraskan straight-talker told MailOnline in an exclusive interview that Obama isn´t up to the job of bringing liberals and conservatives to the table to rescue America´s slowly choking entitlement programs. And Obama, he said Wednesday in his Manhattan office, knew full well he was lying when he promised that the Affordable Care Act would allow Americans to keep insurance plans they liked. ´He had to know he was misleading the audience,´ Kerrey said
