Boehner to Obama: ‘This is

Speaker of the House John Boehner delivered a direct message to President Barack Obama after Obama’s victory in the election: “This is your moment” and “we want you to succeed.” “If there’s a mandate in yesterday’s [election] results it’s a mandate for us to find a way to work together on the solutions to the challenges that we all face as a nation,” Boehner said in a speech at the Capitol on Wednesday. These challenges, Boehner said, include the expiration of the Bush-era tax cuts at the end of the year, automatic defense spending cuts,

Boehner should put the original debt deal on the table that he and Obama agreed to, and dare Obama to modify it. Woodward agreed that they had a deal until Obama wanted more taxes. If Obama want to modify it, then a fight for lower tax rates and other Simpson-Bowles recommendations should be on the table. Paint Obama into a corner and show how he is not really interested in compromise. Then oppose everything he wants to do and point to his intransigence.

No more raised ceiling caps which allow the dims to spend more and more of our money driving us deeper in debt. It is time to draw a line in the sand. Enough is Enough!!!

I don't know about everyone else, but I am in a severe depression today. Did not even want to read my internet sites or listen to talk radio. The past 4 years I dedicated my life to the hope and belief that Americans would indeed toss that loser out yesterday. And today all I hear is that we have to ready ourselves for 2016, do this, don't do that. I'm done. The republican leadership was silent for most of the 4 years of this sickening administration and seem to want to lean forward for the next years for him. Just like Bush did not defend himself against the lying media for 4 years.

The only way I see winning anything in 2016 is for us to start getting dirty and play on a level playing field. People who insist we must not sink to their level showed me yesterday what that gets us.

Sorry, but I am sick of how NOBODY in Congress outside of Issa and a few others, are holding this administration in anyway accountable. They lie, they cheat, they deflect, blame others and the left dimwitted Americans buy it - even with unlimited news sources on the internet.

Stocking up on guns and ammo and will sit back and wait and see what happens to this once great nation.

IMO these analyses start out wrong by thinking that Obama wants to improve US conditions and/or the economy.

He doesn't. He wants power. And the more the better. And the ends will justify the means.

Thus Obama has no reason to deal with Congress at all. He has ruled imperially for four years, two with a GOP majority in the House. He suffered no consequences. He was reelected.

Why would he now become reasonable or change? The worse the economy the more he can rule by executive orders and force. No one will stop him. Reid? The Supreme Court?

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church.
