I am still shell-shocked with respect to yesterday. I live in Maryland and lots of people at the gym are wearing their Obama shirts, and just so happy Obama was re-elected.
After what happened last night, I am not going to doubt what Chuck Todd said with respect to immigration reform and how much Senate support they will get.. It SHOULDN'T happen but at this point I am not going to just outright say that it won't anymore.

As goes the People's Democratic Republic of Kalifornia, so goes the nation. Hispanics, a large majority of who are "illegal" now have free reign in Kalifornia, and since the Progressive/Socialists want to lock that ethnic group up just as they have black Americans, I believe the handwriting is on the wall. Horrendous. If or when this "Immigration Reform" happens, the Dems will get all the credit in the eyes of these new Americanos and they will all vote Dem. And so 2016 becomes easier for Dems to stay in power and harder for GOP to retake power. It is like a trap that winds ever tighter on conservatives at every turn!

the Republicans going along with a liberal Democrat amnesty for just about all illegal aliens, as Obama wants to do, would essentially also be the Republicans committing long-term political suicide.
The Democrats know that the vast majority of illegal aliens once legalized, and granted US voting rights, would just about all eventually be liberal Democrat voters.
Even if only about 50% of the many millions of legalized aliens ever registered to vote, and then actually voted, they would amount to millions of new liberal Democrat voters. Once that happened the Republicans would never again be able to win national elections. The liberal media would love that!

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church.
