Michelle Obama Wants to Create
'Let’s Move! Towns and Cities'

Cybercast News Service, by Elizabeth Harrington

Original Article

First Lady Michelle Obama is encouraging local governments across America to become “Let’s Move!” cities and towns because local leaders are “uniquely positioned to champion healthy communities.” First launched in 2010 but expanded this July, the initiative allows elected officials to sign up their locality as a “Let’s Move! City,” a “Let’s Move! Town” or a “Let's Move! County” and thus commit to various healthy eating goals. The goals for the initiative include “prominently displaying” MyPlate posters in all “municipally or county-owned or operated venues where food is served,”

Oh, Gee, that's a great idea! s/o

Posters will not alter behavior. The majority of weight issues will be solved by limiting food stamp recipients to healthy food, ONLY. That can be accomplished by setting up warehouses like Costco, stocked only with nutritious foods, in large urban areas. Small rural areas can be handled on a smaller scale.

With their great problem solving minds, Michelle and Barack should go into business together, with their OWN money. It won't take long for THEM to be on food stamps!)

Commenters, think of Argentina: the Mooch is preparing for her 2016 presidential run and 2020 reelection. Argentina's president could not run for a third term, so his wife, Cristina ran. She won, and was reelected despite the dreadful economic conditions her Peronista's policies have inflicted on that once properous country. Cristina just had her puppet congress lower the voting age to 16 to gather more gullibles.

Mooch has the media in her pocketbook, an incredible Chicago thug machine and $4 billion in federal funds supposedly for her Let's Move campaign. Do not dismiss her actions as simply intrusive; she is running for office.

ObamaCare’s cost-cutting board — memorably called a “death panel” by Sarah Palin — is facing growing opposition from Democrats who say it will harm people on Medicare. Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean drew attention to the board designed to limit Medicare cost growth when he called for its repeal in an op-ed late last month. Dean was quickly criticized by supporters of the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), who noted his ties to the healthcare industry as an adviser to a major D.C. lobbying firm. President Obama told U.S. troops on Wednesday that Americans would not shrink in the face of terror threats that forced the closure of nearly two dozen diplomatic facilities overseas. “The United States is never going to retreat from the world,” Obama said to Marines at Camp Pendleton, near San Diego. “We don’t get terrorized.” The Obama administration has alluded to a significant threat to Americans abroad, ordering the evacuation of non-essential personnel from a U.S. compound in Yemen — and ramping up drone strikes there. Obama and his surrogates have repeatedly trumpeted the decimation of terrorist

Obamacare is an "anti-poverty program" aiding poor blacks and Latinos, especially in inner cities, and will help those minorities win health insurance they otherwise wouldn´t get, according to Harvard´s — and the nation´s — leading expert on poverty. Ending a war is a good thing. Killing civilians a bad thing. Deliberately targeting civilians is murder, and is never morally licit, even in pursuit of a good thing such as ending a war. The tens of thousands of Japanese non-combatants we killed 68 years ago this week with two nuclear bombs were not “collateral damage” of military strikes. They were the intended targets. We hoped that mass murder would bring the Japanese emperor to surrender. It worked, and American and Japanese soldiers’ lives were probably saved by it —

In a rare diplomatic snub, President Obama is canceling plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow next month. The decision reflects both U.S. anger over Russia´s harboring of National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden and growing frustration within the Obama administration over what it sees as Moscow´s stubbornness on other key issues, including missile defense and human rights. Obama will still attend the Group of 20 economic summit in St. Petersburg, Russia, but a top White House official said the president had no plans to hold one-on-one talks with Putin while there.
