Obama Victory Comes With No Mandate
Associated Press, by Ron Fournier

Barack Obama won a second term but no mandate. Thanks in part to his own small-bore and brutish campaign, victory guarantees the president nothing more than the headache of building consensus in a gridlocked capital on behalf of a polarized public. If the president begins his second term under any delusion that voters rubber-stamped his agenda on Tuesday night, he is doomed to fail. Mandates are rarely won on election night. They are earned after Inauguration Day by leaders who spend their political capital wisely, taking advantage of events without overreaching. Obama is capable

Comments:
Looks like he won a 2nd term by the smallest margin ever. If you thought the first term was a disaster, wait until you see the second.

I've been posting here for several years and this will be my last.

His mandate is socialism and he will do it through dictate. This 'European entitlement' voting block means that this was our last free election. From here on out O will give citizenship to anyone who walks across the border. Those are the same people who multiply 4 times faster than domestic citizens. One can hope and protest all they like but the numbers no longer work out. There will be blood before freedom. 236 years, We had a good run America.

A lot of us here on these pages do not yet get it. The demographics have changed. They outnumber us now. As Phil Graham, the old Texas Senator, use to say, and I paraphrase, "There are more people in wagon than there are pulling the wagon." And it's not going to change back anytime soon.

America, as we knew it, is over. We gave it away. Now, if enemies allow, it will not so slowly morph into a new manifestation of some kind. Probably some flavor of socialism. That won't last long because it will soon run out of money. There are interesting times ahead for the younger ones among us and our children and grandchildren.

I must say though, I count myself lucky to have lived almost all my life in the best of times, in the heyday of this great Nation. And I never took it for granted.

Romney ran a good campaign and deserves a lot of credit. He was wrong about only one thing at that was his underestimation of the takers. As it turns out it was not 47%, but instead 51%. The demographics of this election are scary as they are so divided along racial lines. There is a very angry population of people in this country who feel entitled to what others earn and they have just become a majority.

Greatest Generation MY EYE! They fought against communism, nazism, socialism? I think not.

They gave us the most selfish spoiled generation ever seen in this country. The 60's generation (most of them anyway). Not only did they NOT fight communism, nazism and socialism...they were infected and brought it back to this country and poisoned the well for all of us.

What a waste of blood and treasure....whe have everything they supposedly fought against right here, right now.

They indulged their brats and gave in at every turn. Thanks for nothing.

This is not my country, just where I live from now on.

There is a wonderful quote that has been making its way around the internet over the past year. It apparently was translated from an article published in the Czech Republic newspaper Prager Zeitung last April and reads as follows:

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency...Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

My guess is we will never when another election. Don't overlook the fact that Obama's "blackness" helped him win this election also.

I have been on my knees praying that 0 would be a 1-termer since November 2008. The Lord chose not to say 'Yes' to my prayers. I also believe that he is giving the country over to what it seems to want as a poster above indicated ~ as a be careful what you wish for.
I will continue to pray for mercy since I really don't feel this country deserves the Lord's blessing. Who would want to bless someone who has kicked him to the curb??
My hope is that 0's re-election is part of a larger plan in the Lord's mind. He does, after all, bring good to those who love and serve him.
I am beyond disappointed in yesterday's outcome; the only way I can get through this is with faith in the Lord's ultimate plan ~ whatever that may be. Keep looking to HIM and not to the government. HE is still in control today as he was yesterday and all the days to come (despite what 0 thinks.)

GOD IS NOT DEAD. He answered my every prayer. We had an intelligent, emotionally reasonable, morally clean candidate with the ability and the will to reverse the decline in our economy. It was up to the American people to choose. And, barring yet undetected outright fraud (which by the way I am not), they did. God ordained government. And, our form of government is to vote for our leaders. God never overrides our choices - personal or otherwise.

I keep hearing the words of Moses (Deut. 30:19) "Behold, I set before you life or death; the blessing or a curse. The choice is yours" (my paraphrase.)

Today, I can't stop the tears. I will mourn one day then, get on my knees and ask God to show me and the rest of us who are awake how to find each other and position ourselves to stand.

The Old Diane Sawyer TV Mafia Media is totally responsible for that 10% of stupified Taker voters, legal and illegal, that voted to kill America as the dollar collapses. And worse, all voted as America watches Greece, Spain and Europe go broke from all their own fake Euro money entitlements. At this moment, we have the true American revolution already in place with half the population more Tea Party active than EVER. BUT nobody is attacking the true cancer, the TV Mafia of rich penthouse living, limo driving VIP party attending, Media Traitors, ALL OF THEM, yes even many on FoxTV. The Sawyers/Brokaws/Riveras have brainwashed just enough of the nation to willingly, blindly, vote their own destruction. Our own spokespeople: Rush will not attack, Mark Levin, Hannity, Michelle Malkin, Prager, NONE OF THE GOOD GUYS will open fire on their fellow news colleagues, their fellow union members. Not even FoxTV will take shots at the daily 24/7 0f network brainwashing Traitors to the Truth ! The only win for our side of freedom, is that EVERBODY who believes in a free, open economic society, RIP THE OLD MEDIA TO SHREDS ! I've figured part of it out. In northern Colorado, there were signs for Romney everywhere. Rarely a sign for Obama. But Marijuana was on the ballot - so guess what - that brought out the young to vote, and that helped Obama get over the top. It's the candy being offered (like Rush said - it's hard to vote against Santa Claus).

My plan is that whenever I hear someone complain now about their electricity bills, groceries prices, medical, lack of business, the economy, etc., my answer will be "ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!! WHO DID YOU VOTE FOR?"

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. The disclosure to the Treasury general counsel and the deputy secretary was a cursory one, according to J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration. He said he didn´t reveal conclusions of the probe, which was in its early stages, and his disclosure came as part

"Can you see in your mind´s eye a way that this might not have been political, that this was a misguided stupid way to sort, but that they didn´t intend it to be some kind of political attempt to harass the Tea Party?" The first lady, speaking to graduates at Bowie State University, a historically black college, criticized the worship of sports stars and celebrities. "Today, instead of walking miles every day to school, they’re sitting on couches for hours playing video games, watching TV," she said of black youth. "Instead of dreaming of being a teacher or a lawyer or a business leader, they’re fantasizing about being a baller or a rapper."

Republicans Mike Kelly (PA-03) and Jim Renacci (OH-16) circulated a letter Thursday requesting Treasury Secretary Jack Lew to release documents detailing the process and methodology the Automotive Task Force used to shut down General Motors dealerships in 2009 during the automotive industry crisis. Renacci´s Northeast Ohio Chevrolet dealership was closed in 2010 after losing a battle with General Motors. Congress loaned General Motors $50 billion in 2009 after GM declared bankruptcy, which resulted
