Operation steal the election is in full progress.

Okay, so what can we do? If Obama steals the election, the what's our recourse? Can we sue? As citizens our votes are being suppressed by fraud. I'm disgusted.

On the NYC ballots there were some categories (judges, for instance) where the instructions say "vote for four." But there was only one Republican along with four Democrats.

So - in order to vote for four, and fill in all the little circles to complete the ballot, you had to vote for 3 Dems along with one Republican.

I don't think that was any big deal.

Optical scanners and filling in paper ballots is a bad technology anyway. Any method that allows poll workers to touch your ballot or see it must be eliminated. If the Democrats can't cheat they'd be a shadow of what they are.

#4 - they don't see or touch it unless there's a problem such as incomplete ballot where the appropriate number of circles are not filled in.

You walk over to the scanner with the ballot in a folder, turn it face down and feed it into the scanner.

It it's not filled in properly, it's rejected.

Agree with #4. And #3, at this point in my political awareness, the mere act of filling in any oval for any Democrat is not only unthinkable but would probably cause my hand to start smoking and fall off. I would NEVER do it.

I fill out a paper ballot that I then feed into an optical scanner. A poll worker never touches or looks at my completed ballot and if I watch the readout I can see the vote count go up one. If there's a problem, and I've seen it happen, the machine spits the ballot back out. I don't have to choose someone in every race for the scanner to work correctly. I've used those machines for 10-15 years and have cast plenty of ballots where I didn't vote for some categories. The machines are great because the votes are tallied quickly and there's a paper backup just in case. Also, no hanging chads, etc.

I hope Wendy Long got the name of the poll worker who told her two lies, and makes sure she is not allowed to be a poll worker in the future.

In fact, I'd have her taken from the poll place today.

You do NOT HAVE TO FILL IN EVERY oval! You can choose to vote for one or two offices, and walk out of the booth.

I voted only for Republicans on the ballot today. If a Democrat was unopposed (there were a lot), I left it blank. If it said vote for three and there was only one Republican, I voted only for the Republican. We are not allowed to vote a straight ticket here in Democrat-land--I guess because the ballot is basically a straight Democrat ticket except for those who actually read it.

Folks, if in America, we do not care enough about the sacred right to vote than to have a solid system in place that replaces this crazy cheating poll worker IMMEDIATELY ? Then we wonder why our country is in desperate trouble. Making sure she would never work next time doesn't cut it. WHERE was the monitor? Do they have no power? Somebody grow a pair.

It's illegal to try to influence the vote as a poll worker. Turn the dude in and be done with it.

She probably slide it in face up instead of face down. The fact that Wendy Long left this the way it went down might be why she will lose to the most liberal senator in the senate. I happily voted for her, but the only reasons fans of communists and actual communists in the democrat party win elections is because the Republican Party at the state and national level are too meek, too stupid and too afraid of the media to not just articulate their messages, but to stamp out obvious illegality like this.

If I ran into Black Panthers at my polling place, or had a poll worker tell me how to vote or had some jerk in line tell me to leave because he had 'a badge and a gun' I'd still be there or there would have been a TV crew alerted by someone's call. Of course I don't live in an urban pit, when I vote they have a record of my signature and they cover it and have me sign in to the right of it. Plus some of them know me by now. Most Americans never get the chance to truly fight for their country. Don't drop the ball at the place where punks should be called out or beat down.

I question whether Long's original ballot was rejected. The whole state has the same machines as far as I know and I've left some spaces blank in the past and the machine accepted it.
