What President Obama really
said in that '60 Minutes'
interview about Benghazi

Fox News, by Bret Baier

Original Article

ANALYSIS: Two days before the election, CBS posted additional portions of a Sept. 12 "60 Minutes" interview where President Obama seems to contradict himself on the Benghazi attack. As the Benghazi investigation gets more attention and focus, CBS is once again adding to the Benghazi timeline. In the interview, according to the latest portions, Obama would not say whether he thought the attack was terrorism. Yet he would later emphasize at a presidential debate that in the Rose Garden the same day, he had declared the attack an act of terror. That moment was one of

Comments:
Absolutely stunning. This substantiates everything Tucker Carlson said in his article about the corruption and irrelevance of the MSM. The last sentence says it all.

The town hall questioner asked, "Who was it that denied enhanced security and why?"

Hidden in the "non-direct" response ...

I am ultimately responsible for what's taking place there, because these are my folks, and I'm the one who has to greet those coffins when they come home, you know that I mean what I say

Sounds to me like Obama is saying he's responsible for the denied security that led to the assassinations.

Scroll down and read Bret's questions.

Bret may be the finest investigative journalist we have, along with Catherine Herridge and Jennifer Griffin. And they're all at Fox.

No matter, it is clear that Barack Obama refuses even to property define Islamic terrorists and the enemy, referring to them only as "folks".

You can't win the struggle against radical Islam if you won't even define that enemy properly, and educate the nation about what is really going on between the radical Islamists and the rest of the civilized world.

Like a bad child who is never corrected, this will only get worse if the Romney administration doesn't use its power to correct it. The corrupt media has been served by its corrupt behavior, Romney has the power to reward and punish, if he chooses to treat all equal then they will suffer no consequences and will only get worse. They play for access. He needs to consider rewarding Fox and conservative media with access and regulating the corrupt media to the nether regions of access. Seldom call on them. Never give them access to a scoop, give exclusives to the good guys, let them ask the questions. Give the corrupt media no access to anyone in the administration and punish severely those in the administration who leak info to anyone. Shut them down. Don't be a W and become a punching bag in the name of honor.

Obama, Hillary, Jarret, Brenan, Panetta watched in real time in the middle of the day the murders at Benghazi. Like a snuff film as one writer said, and did nothing. Obama's admin handed Libya to Al Qaeda/Muslim Brotherhood and they were trying to do the same in Syria. Putin was having none of it. He knew we were supplying chemical weapons to Syrian rebels through Turkey. So Putin put a 'hit' on Stevens and the consulate. And, Obama chickened out.

#6. You are wrong. There will not be 4 more years.

I live in NEPA (Northeastern PA). After 9 months of being totally neglected by, quite frankly, both parties, we have Clinton here speaking the night before the election, and Guiliani at another event. Scranton, which spawned Biden, has to be convinced last minute to "maintain"? Obviously something is terribly, terribly amiss in Obamaland. In Bucks County, an Ex-Urb of Philadelphia,Romney last night drew a crowd, estimated by a local liberal newspaper at between 25,000 and 30,000 people (the writer, true to form, reported that people who got "too cold" to wait and wanted to leave could not do so because Romney's people strong armed them).

I am on the streets here and I can tell you at least NEPA will go to Romney. Also, the Catholic Church's surrogates here have BOMBARDED the media with anti-obama ads. That works here because, despite a century of Democrat corruption, the people are still more devoted to their churches than they are to the Democrat bosses. (generally)

My favorite example of current press manipulation is the crying woman demanding some attention to the people of Staten Island. They need food, water, heat, etc. Right at the most intense part, she says, please President Obama, help us. The press didn't want to lose the pathos, so they just cut out President Obama. This is widespread journalistic malfeasance.

When Romney is elected, he must only give Fox interviews. This proves the alphabets try to shape the news. Most of us here have known the truth all along.

I hope Brett Baier and a couple of others, e.g., Megan Kelly, Jennifer Griffin and Catherine Herridge have super security at all times.

I am glad that Brett is head of Fox's Election night coverage. We will get the straight scoop. DVR LSMSNBC's coverage for later comedic viewing.

Mega kudos to Bret Baier, Catherine Herridge and Jennifer Griffin!

Bret asks some excellent “Why” questions near the end of the article. Be sure to read them - and pass them along.

And, re: observations on how the Press 'shapes the news.' As a Journalism major many, many years ago, when I was made anchor of one of our local PBS radio station news shows, it hit me like a ton of bricks, that as anchor... I had COMPLETE power/control over what went out over the air. Even if all my writers were liberal, if I didn't like it, nobody heard what they thought.

Therefore: ALWAYS VET the person reading or writing the 'news,' because it will almost always be filtered through his/her world-view/politics.

The 'NEWS' is generally never neutral. It is always what someone wants you to hear.

Sometimes it is the Truth. Sometimes it is a Lie (or half-lie). It is up to YOU to decide which.
