| Iranian missiles can penetrate the Iron Dome rocket-defense system, Brig.-Gen. Masoud Jazayeri, deputy chief of the Iranian armed forces said Thursday, according to Iranian news agency Fars. "There is no iron dome in the world that we cannot pierce through," Fars quoted him as saying. "What is said about this dome (the Iron Dome) is mostly psychological warfare and propaganda." He also labelled Israeli threats to strike Iran's nuclear facilities as psychological warfare, contending that the IDF lacks the military capability to attack the Islamic Republic. Jazayeri further accused Israel of having

But is it all bluster, or chaff?

Meanwhile, back in the good ol USA, if Barry gets 4 more years he has plans to get rid of our entire arsenal. Ergo, we'll end up watching incoming missiles from the middle east.

Vienna - A leaked diagram suggesting that Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapon is scientifically flawed, diplomats working with the UN nuclear agency conceded Friday. However they insisted that it still supports suspicions that Tehran is trying to build a bomb, especially when combined with other documents that remain secret. The Associated Press reported Tuesday, citing the document leaked by officials from a country critical of Iran’s atomic program, that it indicated that Iranian scientists had run computer simulations for a nuclear weapon that would produce more than triple the

Uncritical, fear-mongering media propaganda is far too common to take note of each time it appears, but sometimes, what is produced is so ludicrous that its illustrative value should not be ignored. Such is the case with a highly trumpeted Associated Press "exclusive" from Tuesday which claims in its red headline to have discovered evidence of "Iran Working on Bomb". (Snip) It is a "graph" which AP says was "leaked" to it by "officials from a country critical of Iran´s atomic program to bolster their arguments that Iran´s nuclear program must be halted before it produces a weapon"

Barbara Starr, CNN's Pentagon reporter (more accurately known as: the Pentagon's reporter at CNN), has an exciting exclusive today. Exclusively relying upon "three senior officials" in the Obama administration (all anonymous, needless to say), she claims that "two Iranian Su-25 fighter jets fired on an unarmed U.S. Air Force Predator drone in the Persian Gulf last week," while "the drone was in international airspace east of Kuwait... engaged in routine maritime surveillance." The drone was not hit, but, says CNN, "the incident raises fresh concerns within the Obama administration about Iranian military aggression in crucial (Persian) Gulf oil shipping lanes."

A member of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission stressed on Sunday that the recent allegation about a halt in Iran's 20 percent uranium enrichment activities is not true. "This claim is unreal because the 20 percent enriched uranium is needed for Tehran's (Research) Reactor and its medical purposes," Kazzem Jalali said on Sunday. He stressed that Iran considers uranium enrichment as its inalienable right, and added, "In line with defending our nuclear rights, we believe that uranium enrichment is our inalienable right."

Compounding the American military's difficulties on the Japanese island of Okinawa, a U.S. airman is under investigation over allegations he broke into a local family's home early Friday and assaulted a teenage boy before jumping off a third-floor balcony. The incident is likely to further deepen resentment among Okinawan residents about the significant U.S. military presence on the island. The situation was already extremely delicate following the arrest last month of two U.S. sailors accused of raping a local woman.

Iran has images of sensitive Israeli military bases taken by a drone that was launched by Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement and downed by Israel earlier this month, a senior Iranian lawmaker claimed Monday in the latest boast from Tehran about purported advances in the capabilities of its unmanned aircraft. The announcement gave no details about the photos — other than calling the Israeli bases “forbidden sites” — but it suggested Iranian drones have the ability to transmit data while in flight. It also appeared aimed at warning Israel about the options for retaliation for any possible strikes on

Israel can expect more drone infiltrations into its airspace in the future, the head of Iran's Basij militia Mohammed Reza Naqdi said Friday according to Iran's semi-official Fars news agency. The IAF shot down a small unmanned aerial vehicle as it flew over southern Israel earlier this month, in one of the most flagrant violations of the nation’s airspace in years. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah took credit for sending the drone aircraft into Israel, saying that it was Iranian-made and that it was shot down near the Dimona reactor. “Zionists must expect hundreds of other drones in 25 different models with new flying systems

Israel will “definitely” face fierce retaliation if it attacks Iranian nuclear sites, the acting commander of Iran’s powerful Revolutionary Guard warned Thursday. The remarks by Gen. Hossein Salami appear to be part of Iranian efforts to portray any strike against it as the trigger for a regional conflict that could draw in Iranian proxies, such as Lebanon’s militant Hezbollah group, on Israel’s borders. (Snip) “The Iranian nation will overcome the enemies’ threats in the economic field,” Salami said. “This is a battle. The Iranian nation will impose its will on its enemies.”

At least 10,000 Israelis will die if Israel strikes Iran, a senior member of Iran’s Expediency Council and former Revolutionary Guards Corps commander said on Monday. “If they attack, Iran’s deterrent power would deal a mortal blow to them and the Israeli death rate would not be less than 10,000,” PressTV quoted Mohsen Rezai, who led the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps for 16 years in the 1980s and 1990s, saying. He added that the death toll would quickly force Israel to desist.

Israel would have attacked Iran long ago if it could and wished to do so, said Iran's foreign minister in an interview Monday. “If the Israelis had wanted to attack us, and if they could have done so, they would have done so long ago,” said Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on Monday to the German news weekly Der Spiegel. During an interview conducted in Frankfurt, the Salehi commented on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent presentation at the United Nations’ General Assembly, calling Netanyahu’s caricature of a bomb “childish,” and “bizarre,” according to the Der Spiegel report.

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —
