Brian Williams eviscerates Limbaugh
and former FEMA director 'Brownie'
for their post-Sandy reactions

Mediaite, by Andrew Kirrell

Original Article

Posted By:Fiesta del sol, 11/2/2012 4:09:13 PM

During Thursday night’s broadcast of NBC’s Rock Center, anchor Brian Williams took shots at both former FEMA head Michael Brown and conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh for what Williams considered to be their unsavory remarks in the wake of Hurricane Sandy’s destructive path.Delivering a monologue on news items-of-the-day, Williams mentioned that “‘Brownie’ is back. Michael Brown, who helped bring us the largest domestic human rights outrage of the modern era – the Katrina response – said this week the lesson of Hurricane Sandy is that people need to chill.”

Comments:
If I'm not mistaken, Williams has done zero!!! stories on Benghazi. You gotta wait til the end to see Williams' sanctimonious statement on politics.

Williams is not qualified to polish Rush's shoes, much less consider himself superior.

Brian Williams has a tan line where he wears tanning machine goggles. Why should I listen to anything that powder puff says?

Hey, Brian! You heard of Benghazi? No, it's not a sun tan oil, dim bulb.

I know I'm not mistaken
When I remember Brian Williams giving the All Clear announcement to the people
of New Orleans the day after Katrina ( about 5 hours before the levves broke).
So williams was more responsible than Bush for the number of people who drowned from the levees breaking.

The press was shown to be full of hot air during Katrina. They do not have credibility. The press wants outrage where outrage is not due. It's based on ratings, and that is exploiting the aftermath of the storm. Shame on the press.

1. The rough estimate of Hurricane Sandy damage is $50 billion.

Obama, in less than 4 years, has added $5 trillion [$5,000 billion] to our debt.

Obama has done 100 times the damage that the hurricane did.

Back to you, Brian.

#8: The Brits are right -- call them "news readers." That's what they are. Or were. Now they're Talking Points Readers, I guess.

#9: Agreed. A large part of what drives the media is a lust for ratings numbers. The utter lack of standards and honesty in the media contribute to turning every story into the equivalent of "The End Of All Life As We Know It" [TEOALAWKI]. Apparently, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" wasn't among their childhood storybooks. Too bad.

Credibility and virginity are both hard to get back.

Mr. Williams
Your blind loyalty to the failed presidency of Obama lends credence to those that believe the MSN has become a propaganda tool of the left. I would like to remind my fellow American's, especially those living in the hurricane Sandy ravaged areas that support(ed) Obama, that our failed leader is out campaigning rather than assuring you are getting assistance. Remember when Katrina stuck New Orleans? Mr. Williams jumped on the band wagon asserting that President Bush was slow in responding to the area because most of the residents of New Orleans were black. Well, Mr. Williams I wonder why you're not levying same sick criticism against Obama because most of the residents effected by Sandy are white, latino, or asian. You, Mr. Williams, like so many in your profession, are hypocritical hacks.

While everyone else in the storm-ravaged Tri-State area is angry at the government for its slow response to their suffering, particularly at Mayor Bloomberg for wasting critical resources on a marathon event, Brian Williams has not failed to come through for the Democrats by castigating their all-purpose scapegoat, Rush Limbaugh.

As long as Rush is safely out of the area, let the media's electronic lynching/pogrom begin against America's Voice of Truth, who's more than big enough to handle it and get a good laugh along the way.

A Superior Court judge who sentenced a wealthy du Pont heir to probation for raping his 3-year-old daughter noted in her order that he "will not fare well" in prison and needed treatment instead of time behind bars, court records show.Judge Jan Jurden´s sentencing order for Robert H. Sharyl Attkisson hasn’t landed yet, but there’s every reason to suppose she’s not going to finish her career in local news in Duluth. For starters, Atkinson is an accomplished reporter. But she’s also taken one of the surefire moves to help ensure her relevance – not to mention potential TV and book contracts – by criticizing the very media establishment in which she spent her career. It’s an increasingly well-traveled path: Over the course of the past two decades, a handful of journalists have left mainstream media jobs while decrying what they saw as an inherent bias in their own industry.

An educated workforce, a large population boom, major technological advances, and abundant fossil fuels were the key components of growth, generating substantial and broadly distributed increases in standards of living in many countries. We have grown so used to such growth that we inevitably view it as a panacea for a host of economic ills, whether it´s a deep recession or income inequality. The channel took the frequent cable-show guest and handed him his own program, “Ronan Farrow Daily,” which premiered in late February. The theory was that Farrow, a Rhodes scholar who graduated college when he was 15 and went on to score degrees from Yale and Oxford, would bring his 245,000 Twitter followers with him to television

Former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey thinks President Barack Obama, a fellow Democrat, was re-elected in 2012 because he ´sucked less´ than former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. The Nebraskan straight-talker told MailOnline in an exclusive interview that Obama isn´t up to the job of bringing liberals and conservatives to the table to rescue America´s slowly choking entitlement programs. And Obama, he said Wednesday in his Manhattan office, knew full well he was lying when he promised that the Affordable Care Act would allow Americans to keep insurance plans they liked. ´He had to know he was misleading the audience,´ Kerrey said

YOKOHAMA, Japan — Climate change is already having sweeping effects on every continent and throughout the world’s oceans, scientists reported Monday, and they warned that the problem is likely to grow substantially worse unless greenhouse emissions are brought under control. The report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations group that periodically summarizes climate science, concluded that ice caps are melting, sea ice in the Arctic is collapsing, water supplies are coming under stress, heat waves and heavy rains are intensifying, coral reefs are dying, and fish and many other creatures are migrating toward the poles or

A National Labor Relations Board official has given the green light to Northwestern University football players to form a union. The March 26 decision by the NLRB´s Chicago regional director, Peter Sung Ohr, held that scholarship football players are "employees" for purposes of federal labor law. Ohr rejected the longstanding view of Northwestern and the National Collegiate Athletic Association that players are "student-athletes" rather than employees. While Ohr´s decision is hardly the final word on this issue, it does accelerate the legal and political battle against the NCAA and its century-old amateurism rules. Is Football Academic? Washington — The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Monday finalized long-delayed rules that will require automakers to install back-up cameras in all vehicles by May 2018. The new rules set rear visibility standards that automakers will initially be able to meet only by installing cameras. At the same time, major automakers said Monday they are petitioning the Obama administration to let them end the use of side view mirrors if they install cameras that could perform the same task — a move that could improve fuel efficiency. President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security caught then released 68,000 aliens who had previously been convicted of a crime, a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies shows. The report, provided to Breitbart News ahead of its late Sunday evening release, reviews internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) metrics to conclude that the Obama administration released 35 percent—or 68,000—convicted criminal aliens back into the U.S. general population when they could have been deported. Drinking Earl Grey tea could help guard against heart disease, it has emerged, after a study found that bergamot extract--a key ingredient in the hot drink--is just as effective as statins at controlling cholesterol. Scientists believe bergamot, a fragrant Mediterranean citrus fruit which gives Earl Grey tea its distinctive flavour, can significantly lower cholesterol. They say it contains enzymes known as HMGF (hydroxy methyl glutaryl flavonones) which can attack proteins in the body known to cause heart disease. The study found bergamot could even be as effective as statins, used to control cholesterol but which can have side effects in
