Michael Moore and Obama
Smear the Greatest Generation

FrontPage Magazine, by Mark Tapson

Just when hateful documentary propagandist Michael Moore was becoming a distant, bad memory, he returns with a deeply disrespectful political ad that he produced in conjunction with the radical left MoveOn.org. It is one of the saddest and most revolting spots yet associated with the Obama campaign, which has turned this election into a carnival of vulgarity. The virulently radical Moore, who is vastly wealthy but affects solidarity with the working-class, is not only responsible for a corpus of film work that is bloated with anti-American lies and distortions, including

I had to do everything I could not to throw shoes at my television when O'Reilly said that Moveon.org didn't have anything to do with 0bama and he couldn't be blamed for this. How blind can you be???

Question: Were those 5 elderly people in the ad paid for their time? Apparently they had no qualms in sitting there, on wrinkled behinds, reading what was put in front of them.

Yes, OP, I heard O'Reilly make that ridiculous statement. That's when I had to shut him off. I'm glad Romney didn't go on his program.

Mrs. Southron:

I don't doubt the oldsters were auditioned (imagine groups of them standing in line...), but as a former nurse for the elderly, I have to tell you the temptation is to think that older people are "sweet" and were essentially good people during their youth.

Not true. Many have filthy mouths and filthy pasts. - Many of the "grandpas" were pederasts. - As caregivers, we had to learn not to project a sentimental image onto them.

One final point: think of their ages. Many, like the grandma that visits my neighbors, her family, on holidays when you can smell the pot smoking a mile away, were the very people that indoctrinated their adult children into drug use, racism, etc. - It's passed on from generation to generation, and much of it started with them.

Mostly driven by women who's conservative WWII veteran husband has passed away, right? My mom unfortunately falls into that bucket. It just feels like she is now trying to leave a legacy of "compassion", save the planet, etc. with no regard for who is going to have to pay for all of the stuff she votes for after she passes on. I love my mom, but it looks to me like she is trying to buy her way into Heaven with other people's money...

Something's not right about those old people but it's not that they are not old. I know old and they are old.

It's been a wakeup call to me to be more careful not to fall into the trap of using bad language. It's not attractive in anyone but especially sickening in old women.

This commercial and the 'first time' one have been collosal failures ... and sick.

Certainly there are members of the Greatest Generation who fawn over the Democrats, but none of the ones I know would use language like that. They bought into FDR's promise that Social Security was in a 'trust fund' for them; they have no clue that they long ago received back all they they and their employers contributed, with interest, and are now simply receiving welfare payments.

The Democrats specialize in "projection" i.e. accusing other people of thinking, saying, or doing all the bad things that the Democrats are actually thinking, saying, or doing.

So, whatever they are accusing Republicans of, is what the Democrats are actually thinking, saying and doing.

If the Dems are accusing Republicans of trying to "steal the election," you can bet that such stealing is just what the Democrats have been preparing to do and are in the process of doing at this very minute.
