Benghazi Investigator Slams
America and ‘Islamophobes’

FrontPage Magazine, by Matthew Vadum

America is a seething hotbed of “Islamophobia,” filled with ignorant racist rubes who irrationally fear the benign Muslim religion, according to the Obama administration’s lead investigator into the Benghazi atrocities. So said former Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering in more polished, diplomatic language during an Oct. 23 panel discussion at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. The talk was on “what role the faith community can play in fighting Islamophobia,” a make-believe mental illness that Islamists would love to have listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. I have never been more terrified of those in the regime who are undermining this country. I wonder if we will know the true extent of the damage they have done because of their totally blinding leftist ideology.

If there is indeed anything like an illness here it would more accurately be called Islamophobiaphobia, i.e. the abnormal and irrational fear of the fear of Islam. Politically correct people suffer from something that looks like this, just as they evince signs of homophobiaphobia. And, of course, almost all of them exhibit racism phobia, for which there currently exists no useful phobiaphobia category.

I admit to being ignorant of the 'benign Muslim Religion' about which Pickering speaks.
I am however, very familiar with the hateful, murderous cult which masquerades as a religion to benefit from it's freedoms.

So much for an impartial analysis of Hussein's treasonous actions on Benghazi.

Appointed to investigate how the video really is responsible. Neither truthful nor helpful.

Many of us work with or live near muslims in the US. It doesn't work to make an issue of religious difference, sharia, or terrorism in our daily lives with these neighbors. But that does not mean we should be reordering our lives around them or ignoring facts like the Islamic religious requirements of a state and conversion or subverion (dhimmitude) of the world, the dogmatic creation of, and disregard for infidels, and the differences in violence and freedom between all other major religions and Islam.

Separately, I'll be taking my cues from this guy when he recognizes that this country does not criminalize religious or political offense. Until then, he's simply supporting suppression of criticism of a religion founded by a military conqueror, slave owner, and misogynist with no resemblance to Moses, Christ, Bhudda or any other central figure of a major religion. It would also help if he actally came out against his government paying to create acts of offense to other religions before using his position to condemn Americans who question the religion of people who kill, persecute and abort the freedom of all others on a large scale in the name of that religion and without real and sustained contest of those acts by that religion. Then maybe he could begin to have an honest conversation with Americans.

Pickering apparently never heard the old truism that "even paranoids have enemies."

Or the Holocaust Survivor's answer to what he learned from the experience: "When someone says he's going to kill you, believe them."

Too bad [for the rest of us] that Leftists have "evolved" past the point of having a drive for self-preservation. Wish it only affected them.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.
